We are Back, for a Special Edition of Randomness.

00-f4w2012banner

Hey, we’re baaaaaaAAAAck!! Three of us are anyways. It’s a very special edition of The Fatal 4-Way. We’ve all been crazy busy since our “retirement” from the blog world, but we all have said that we can come back for very special editions. So never count us out. We’re back in after the count of 8 (months, that is). So The Game, Greg and I are here for a rare blog. We just got the urge and decided to write. Because it was such a last minute decision, Sarge is unable to join us this time. Maybe next time we’ll have this better planned out. When the urge strikes, the urge strikes, right?

Roll the footage monkies………..

Hey everyone, welcome back to the Triple Threat! Aka The Fatal 4-Way – 1 lol You thought you got rid of us but no just when you thought wrestling couldn’t get anymore crazy the Fatal 4-Way decides to do a family reunion! Woot! Okay in all seriousness I’m happy to be back to do this one time reunion for you all! Thanks to Diva for suggesting to do this today! So lets skip about what’s going in my life right now(it’s cool, still have that great job and I’m happy!) and get into the real thing you want to know…wrestling!

Where should I begin…how about WrestleMania 33. Yes folks it happened. The Undertaker lost to Roman Reigns and has retired. He went out old school style and did the right thing(?) and he put over Roman Reigns. I know a lot of you are pretty upset that this happened. I know I was too(I pretty much turned off the TV when Reigns won but I was sooo tired and had to be up at 6:00am the next day) the PPV was way too long for me. I watched it from 7pm till just after Midnight! Man that was a long night! But back to Roman winning the match. You guys have to remember The Undertaker is old school so he was doing what he thought was the right thing and putting over the next big thing. Unfortunately not a lot of people really like him and yeah I don’t think they will ever like him now because of what happened. Back to The Undertaker he will be one of the greatest Attractions that WWE has ever had. There will be no other guy like The Undertaker. He is in his own category and that should be fine! I wish him the best and I’m going to miss him in the ring but it is his time now to enjoy the roses and be with his family. I hope they put him in WWE HOF next year because he deserves it so much!

Another big things happened at WM 33 and that was the return of The Hardy Boyz to WWE. I knew it was going to happen except I didn’t know when it was going to happen! If you have been following the TNA-Hardy Boyz fallout then you knew it was just a matter of time before they were going to show up in WWE. AS you know Matt Hardy has created this great Broken Matt gimmick back in TNA last year. It went over so well that it was probably the only thing good on TNA at the time. Then he got his Brother Nero to join in and it become one of the most talk about storylines in suck a long time! It was wild, crazy and pretty damn funny at times! I watched it and fell in love with it! I showed it to my friend Matt and he just couldn’t believe how campy it was and how great it was too! We both enjoyed it a lot. Then TNA lost Dixie Carter and TNA was sold to a new company. Now they are called Impact Wrestling. But then they did the unbelievable thing…they let The Hardy’s go. What a stupid move on their part. So The Hardy Boyz showed up in Ring of Honor as Broken Matt and Brother Nero. It was over and Impact Wrestling sent them a warning saying they couldn’t use the Broken Matt and Brother Nero gimmick because it didn’t belong to them. So now The Hardy Boyz had to drop that gimmick for now until they have the rights for it. Anyway they showed up in WWE at WM 33 as the other tag team for the Ladder Match. They ended up winning the RAW tag team championship. It was a cool surprise to see them back on WWE TV. It was such a great moment.

Another match that happened at WM 33 was Triple H vs Seth Rollins. That match was all right. I got kinda bored(by this time it was almost 10:30pm and I wasn’t really feeling that well that night to begin with). I thought the match went on and on. The cool spot of the night was when Stephanie went through the table after Triple H ran into her. That was pretty cool. Then Seth got the win after that. I like Rollins. I think he is a great worker and the better guy from The Shield. I have always been a Rollins fan. So I’m curious as to what they are going to do with him now. I’m hoping he will get a title run again. He deserves it for sure!

One match that I thought was horrible was The Miz & Mayrse vs John Cena & Nikki Bella. My goodness that was 25 mins of crap that I won’t get back. Cena and Bella won. Then Cena propose to Bella. They will probably have a SummerSlam wedding. Yay just what we really need again…another wrestling wedding. Blah blah blah.

I’m so happy that Bayley is still your Women’s Champion! She beat Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax in a fatal 4-way match! It was a great match and it should have been a little bit longer. They all worked really hard and it was probably one of my favourite match from the night!

Then we had Brock Lesnar take on Goldberg aka Grandpa for the Universal Championship. Don’t get me started with why this match was for the championship. It shouldn’t have been. Anyway Lesnar finally beat him and become the Universal Champion. Now Finn Balor needs to get his championship back from Lesnar! I hope that happens real soon!

Kurt Angle, DDP, Ravings Rick Rude and others were inducted into this years WWE HOF. All of them were well deserved. Kurt Angle was also hired as the new WWE GM for RAW. That should be pretty fun! I wonder what Angle is going to do to tick off Stephanie?! Lol It should be exciting times!

RAW & Smackdown are having Roster trade this week. It should shake things up for them. I hope they don’t load up RAW because Smackdown is the better Brand right now and they seem to do things more interesting than what happens on RAW.

Okay I’m finished for now. I hope you guys enjoyed my blog. I had a great time doing it. Who knows never say never in wrestling there might come a time when you least expect it and bam! Just like that out comes another edition of the Fatal 4-Way! Have a nice day!

the-skirt-sheet

The mood struck me randomly Monday night to write a blog about wrestling. I’ve had so many thoughts and ideas rolling around my head lately that I decided, why not? Well I couldn’t do it without at least inviting my partners along for a road trip. So three of us have come together to bring you this special edition. I have a lot to say about what’s gone done (not who) in the world of pro-wrestling. So, I’ll shut it, and get to bidness (man, I miss saying that).

I pre-wrote out everything that I thought I wanted to say, but fuck it. I’m going to go by the seat of my pants. I will not comment on The Undertaker, because I do plan on writing a separate blog on just him and his amazing career in the future. I just want it to be perfect. I went ahead and I made bullet points to work off of. I alway pre-write my blogs by hand and then put them to the computer and go from there. So tonight, I’m going at this a completely different way.

Lately, I’ve become obsessed with podcasts. It gets me through the last leg of my night shift when I need to put my laptop away. It all started with Lilian Garcia’s new podcasts which can be seen on the Youtube, “Making Their Way To The Ring”. The first one I watched was the two-part Trish Stratus (surprise-surprise, right?), and then Mick Foley’s. I highly reccommend those pods, but must check out is AJ Styles, Mickie James, Amy “Lita” Dumas, and Sasha Banks. I got into Talk is Jericho with Chris Jericho as well. The editions with Big Cass, Becky Lynch, and Edge and Christian were great. On the heels of that, Edge and Christian have a new podcast, and they’re just three episodes (soon to be four), into it. Eand C’s Pod of Awesomeness. Their hilarious, and fun. I enjoyed their first podcast with Goldberg, but it was their second and third one with Shane McMahon and Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix had me in stitches. So totally worth checking those out. So yes, I’m obsessed with these podcasts. So check them out!!! Do it now, or you’ll make my list!

I was probably one of the few people blindsided by the Hardy’s return at WrestleMania. I’ll admit it, I didn’t put the pieces together even though I had the pieces. I knew they were in Orlando for Ring Of Honour and WrestleCon, and I knew they dropped the ROH tag titles to the Young Bucks, I knew they only had a month long contract with ROH. When the New Day came out to say that the triple threat ladder match, has been made into a fatal fourway match. There I am thinking, “fuck! The New Day are weeding their way into the match,” and then….I lost my shit! Part of my emotion was that I didn’t see it coming despite seeing all the writing on the wall. So yeah, I lost my shit. I think it’s great to have them back in the WWE, and I can’t wait to see whether or not they can bring in the Broken Matt Hardy gimmick. That’s a whole story of the executives at TNA Impact wrestling holding the gimmick hostage. They see it as money, and they’re not happy that the Hardy’s didn’t resign and that would mean loss of money. So now they are holding the Hardy’s up for royalties made in other companies and shows. Matt Hardy’s wife, Reby, had the forethought to go and get their gimmick and the theme music trademarked, and now they’re all in a court battle. I’m guessing it’s only time when the WWE will step in to get that control away from the fledging company. They’ve never stopped AJ Styles from leaving with his Phenomanal gimmick. There are a few instances where other superstars left TNA and went to other companies, and took their gimmicks with them without issues. So I’m hoping everything will get straightened out. It’s too great of a gimmick to just let it go.

At the WWE Hall of Fame I think everyone expected Kurt Angle’s speech to be the speech of the night, but that goes to Beth Phoenix. Her speech was so amazing, and so heartfelt, and honest. The revelation about Molly Holly paying for her wrestling school tuition, was so emotional because it showed that there are great people out there who want to help others follow their dreams. It made me think that Molly Holly could be on her way to the Hall of Fame next year, and she should be. I think that her career and her heart and her kindness shouldn’t be overlooked. Beth’s speech was fun and emotional and I just thought that she nailed it. I only ever watch a few speeches at the HOF, but I think I watched quite a few this year. I watched Diamond Dallas Paige’s, “Ravishing” Rick Rude’s family’s speech, Beth’s, and Kurt’s. All of their speeches were amazing. Congratualations to the 2017 Hall of Fame class.

We’ve seen the reassurgence of Jinder Mahal after two years away from the WWE. To be honest, I didn’t even notice he was gone. I did notice that when he returned that he was significantly larger. I’m not an idiot, I’m not blind. He was larger, vein-ier, all that back acne, hmmmm….STEROIDS!!!!!

Mahal

The dude is jacked!! Mahal apparently addressed the steroid rumours, and claims that he has never done steroids and has never failed any drug tests. Haven’t we heard that before, from other superstars? Hulk Hogan comes to mind, and he even had to take the stand in a federal trial back in the early 90’s against the WWF and Vince McMahon, where he admitted to taking steroids. So Mahal’s claim is futile. I don’t believe him, and I’m guessing not many other people do as well. Maybe the WWE hasn’t tested him exactly for the steroid cocktail. They clearly leave certain superstars alone from testing. John Cena, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Mahal, all clearly have never been tested and if they have, they’ve been overlooked. Not sure why Mahal hasn’t been tested properly, as he’s far from being on par with the aforementioned names in just that short list. I don’t care what Jinder Mahal claims, the guy is fucking juicing.

What can I say about the recent storyline between Maryse, The Miz, Cena and Nikki Bella? Well, I can say that The Miz and Maryse have kicked serious ass and making it actually enjoyable. The two of them have made Cena fun again. Their portrayl and mocking of the plastic relationship couple has been, in my opinion, accurate portrayal of how robotic and boring Cena truly is as a person. I know what y’all are thinking, Total Diva’s/Bella’s is scripted, and although yes it is, I doubt that the WWE would allow their top guy to actually be like this and showing what he’s really like in his everyday life. Cena comes off as a pompous, control freak, and uncaring asshole. The portrayal of Cena and Bella sparked the predictable path that would lead to their WrestleMania 33 mixed-tag team match. Maryse and The Miz would portray that dry and boring couple that is Cena and Nikki, while adding their comedic side to the two and sometimes four roles, as even Brie and Daniel Bryan were portrayed at one point. I have no problem with Brie and Daniel Bryan, but I have zero respect for Nikki Bella who would give up her dreams for a man who isn’t willing to give those dreams to a woman he proclaims to love.

miz maryse

What bothered me about the match was, The Miz and Maryse needed the win more than Cena and Bella did. If it was just a catalyst to lead to Cena’s proposing to Nikki, then it still wasn’t necessary to have them go over. Macho Man and Elizabeth reunited at WrestleMania 7 in 1991, despite Macho Man’s loss to the Ultimate Warrior, and it did not take away from the emotional reunion. So even if Cena and Nikki were to have lost, they could have still had their moment, which if you asked me was as phony as they are as people. Within a few days after Cena “proposing” to Nikki, the twin was on mulitple morning shows talking about all the wedding planning they have already taken steps towards. If they just got engaged on Sunday, and then a day or two later, were already talking about their cake tasting, then clearly they were engaged already. I’m not doubting their engagement, I am doubting whether or not it is genuine or a business arrangement. Afterall money does talk to Nikki Bella. So moving on, because frankly Cena and Nikki make me want to fucking throw-up.

So lets talk about the draft and the shake up that has taken place. Last year we saw some strong moves in the draft which separated the two shows, RAW and SmackDown. The draft that took place last year wasn’t the first time the WWE has done a draft and separated the two shows and wrestlers, however, I don’t think it was really done right. One show was always more stacked then the other, which made the second show the weaker show. This time, they seemed to have made moves that were more evened out and allowed superstars to have more opportunities than what they wouldn’t have necessairly have if there was no draft. Makes me wonder where would Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes be if they had just stayed on for an additional year. In the last year, we saw Naomi capture her first Women’s Championship which was long overdue, and the same with Bray Wyatt. He was crowned WWE World Champion and was part of main eventing WrestleMania 33. But alas, that was last year, and we are here in the now. So the “Shake-Up” took place over the past two days on both RAW and SmackDown, and we saw some decent moves with the following;

To RAW from SmackDown: Alexa Bliss, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, The Miz, Maryse, and Mickie James. Also to RAW from SmackDown less signficant moves of; Apollo Crews, Curt Hawkins, Goldust, R-Truth, Heath Slater, Rhyno, and Kalisto. Announcer David Otunga.

To SmackDown from RAW: Kevin Owens, Charlotte, Sami Zayn and New Day. Also to SmackDown from RAW less significant moves of; Rusev, Lana, Epico, Primo, Sin Cara and the return of Tamina Snuka who was not drafted last year as she was out due to injury. Announcer Byron Saxton.

Why do I feel that some moves are insignifant? Well lets face it, -Curt Hawkins even coming back was a condundrum in my opinion. He never did anything worthy talking about during his first run and he isn’t doing anything worth talking about now. A complete waste. -Goldust & R-Truth haven’t been relavent in quite sometime. -Heath Slater & Rhyno has fleeting moments of moderate success with short-term gimmicks. Sadly has dragged Rhyno down with him. -Kalisto would have had a decent run if they hadn’t moved Sin Cara over to SmackDown. This does allow him to join the 205 crew, but other than that, Kalisto will no longer be fed to Baron Corbin but insteasd will be a snack for Braun Strowman instead. MMM tastes like a burrito. -David Otunga moving is horrible. If they were going to move him at all, it should have been out the door. He’s not a good commentator, or wrestler. I don’t see him doing well on the RAW commentating team, if anything, his presence with that team is likely going to make Corey Graves stock plummit. Graves has done an amazing job commentating and I can see his career being long term as he always improves.

To SmackDown from RAW acquistions seem a little stronger than some of the crap that moved to RAW. -Rusev and Lana look to be split up, albeit on the same roster. A vignette aired showing Lana separetly from her real-life husband Rusev. Although might be good for her to start getting in-ring work and experience, it’s going to drag Rusev’s stock way down as he is basically nothing without her. He hasn’t had anything really significant in the last few months and nobody seems to care about him as much. -The Shining Stars Epico & Primo. The end. No one cares. -Sin Cara being moved away from the cruiserweight division and the potential reuniting with former tag partner, Kalisto, is a waste of a move. He is much more valuable with Kalisto and/or with the 205 crew. Now he’ll replace Kalisto as Baron Corbin’s meal. -Byron Saxton, I find is also a waste as he had better chemistry with Michael Cole and Graves over on RAW. I wonder how long he’ll last under JBL’s eye and mouth. Seeing as the strength of the team, Mauro, has left the WWE because of JBL’s constant bullying. Whose to say that the same won’t happen to Saxton? He’s not a bad commentator, and is stronger in the booth that Tom Phillips who seems to have taken Mauro’s place.

As for all the big moves that have taken place, it’ll make for interesting television and matches. Lets keep an eye on these moves and maybe next year come back and see how well this round of drafts or shake-ups did.

I don’t really want to drag on and on. I feel I already have. But I’ll take a brief time to catch up with what’s going on in my life. Back in October, I took my daughter, River who was 20 months old at the time to Hamilton Comicon where she and I had our picture taken with WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley. She’s met her first wrestler. Lol!! The fight to end whale and dolphin in captivity continues. It’s an uphill battles with a few wins for these amazing animals. Just two weeks ago, my paternal grandmother passed away after a long drawn out struggle with multiple strokes and other issues. After watching her struggle and suffer with breathing and not truly living for a few days, when she finally passed it became a relief. I will miss her. I’ve lost two grandparents in a span of 11 months. It’s been a rough year. My daughter turned 2 years old in February, and is funny, smart, stubborn, active, and beautiful. She loves her superheroes, and her Octonauts, and her Wiggles. We took her to see The Wiggles at Hamilton Place in October and she was so shocked and in constant awe at seeing them in real life. Also, Lachy, the purple wiggle waved to her. Totally made her day. Lol!! She’s growing so fast. I sometimes wish I could stop time and just stare at her and keep her as she is now.

The Final Deletion…Fatal 4-Way Style

BNB

I realize for the past few months, there has been little to no editions of the Fatal 4-Way. We all have come to the realization that our lives are too busy; complicated with work, babies, and relationships. We originally planned to work up to November in order to celebrate 10 years putting this baby out. However, we are unable to commit to this blog much longer.

So we are sad to say that this will be our LAST EDITION. Our “Final Deletion” so to speak (but less corny and horrible than the Hardy’s).

We have some old faces returning to say good-bye. So stay tuned, and for one last time…Roll the footage monkies….

Fotor20150515

Hey everyone, how are you doing? I guess you probably all know by now this will be the last edition of the Fatal 4-Way Blog this weekend! Yeah we made the hard decision to retire the blog. I first want to say thank you to Diva aka Sarah for letting me have the chance to be part of the blog. I really did have a fun time writing it with you! You have become one of my closest friends and we have had so many great times together. I know we will continue to have fun times after this blog comes to an end. I also want to thank Sarge and Steve for being such awesome co-bloggers and friends as well. I truly enjoyed being part of the Fatal 4-Way family. I also enjoyed reading and watching your youtube blogs. You guys rocked! I also want to thank you our loyal readers for supporting us through these almost 10 years. Thank You! Another thank you I would like to give out is to the guys who do pwinsider.com thank you for bringing out the best news for us. You don’t know how much I enjoy being an elite member with your site all these years. Keep up the excellent work guys!

I want to say when I was in grade 5 I remember one of my school friends Jason bringing in a WWF magazine to school. I never even knew what wrestling was until he showed me my first magazine. Then I had to check it out on TV. I fell in love with wrestling after that. I haven’t really stopped. Yes I know it has gone through so many changes and up and downs but I kept by it all these years. I’m really hopeful with NXT, Ring of Honor, and WWE keeping the wrestling business alive. I really think when Vince does retire Triple H is really going to make the WWE such a better place and exciting environment. He has already with NXT. I know there is a bright future in Pro Wrestling.

As I’m writing this today, I have just started my vacation. I’m off for 9 days and I’m planning to away for a few days at the cottage. It should be a fun time! I can’t wait. I am however going to miss SummerSlam on Sunday. It does look like an exciting card and I’m curious if Finn Balor is going to be your new WWE Universal Champion or will be my hero Seth Rollins? Lol I think you know who I want to win! I’m hoping AJ Styles beats the snot out of Cena at SummerSlam! That would be awesome! I’m rooting for Randy to survive and not get injured out of his match against Brock Lesnar. I know I picked Brock to win but I really want Orton to win cause he is one of my favourites and he is quite sexy too! LOL I know Dean is going to beat Dolph but I’m glad Dolph is finally getting a decent push. Hopefully they will have a few more matches together. I really hope The New Day end up losing the tag titles cause I can’t stand them and they have had the championships for a while now. I’m also rooting for Sasha Banks to retain the Women Championship too!

I didn’t put TNA in the other paragraph for a reason. I’m really not sure if they will survive much longer. So many bad things have happened to them lately and they just seen to be hanging in there with a thread sometimes! Maybe with Billy Corgan taking over as TNA President things will change for the better. But Dixie is still there. So who knows for sure. I did however enjoy the The Finale Deletion match between Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. It was bizarre! But I still enjoyed it! It made me LOL and also say WTF is going on there! Haha It was one of those things that was so bad in pro wrestling but at the same time it was so good too!

Anyway that’s it for me! I hope you guys enjoyed our last blog ever. Who knows maybe we might do the odd special blog here and there. I guess it depends on our schedules as well. So we shall see! But once again I would like to say thank you to everyone from the past and present who made this blog fun to do! Have a nice day!

***The views and opinions expressed in “Boot Camp” are strictly my own and do not in any way reflect those of WWE, TNA, the whiny fanboys of the IWC, or any other group that I might inadvertently piss off! BOOT CAMP

Well, troops. Here we stand, our toes dangling off the edge of the precipice of a world that will never be the same again! Once we depart from this hallowed ground known as “Sarge’s Boot Camp”, the gates will be locked…never to be opened once we have left. That’s right. This, my friends, is the final edition of the Boot Camp. After nearly ten years, I and my fellow bloggers in the Fatal 4-Way have decided to hang it up and call it a day.

Will I miss this? Naturally. Bringing my faithful followers here every week…then every month as our format changed, has been a part of my life since 2006. I have said and done a lot of crazy things during that time. A LOT of things, and I am damn proud of all of it! Whether making silly YouTube videos, being haunted by a John Cena poster that just wouldn’t die, channeling my inner Warrior after guzzling WWE branded energy drinks, or making up my own satirical song lyrics to poke fun at a certain WWE Diva I absolutely couldn’t stand at the time….everything I did was pure fun and I loved every minute of the experience. It was an honor to even be considered by our “lady in charge” to be part of this great team of writers, and I hope I did everyone proud with the quality of work I put into this thing over the years. I know my fellow bloggers put their heart and soul into every edition we ever put out. We worked hard on putting out our best each and every time for anyone who saw fit to come and take a look. I hope I have been even mildly entertaining to a few people in this world. If I have done that, then I feel like my mission was accomplished here.

I cannot speak for the rest of my stable, but this choice to end our run as the Fatal 4-Way came as a mutually agreed upon decision between everyone involved. Life has a funny way of changing and those changes can begin to take up more time and require more focus and attention than other things. Priorities, they call them. Children, moving into new homes, our jobs, our families….it all has begun to add up, and in my case, it leaves me with less time to concentrate on doing these articles. It is unfortunate to have to end this so soon, but it is for the best interest of me and the rest of this group. We’re not being pussies for moving on. We are keeping it real, and when real life gets in the way, sometimes you just have to take care of business and focus on what’s really important.

Anyone who chooses to see it any other way will be deleted and made to be an obsolete mule, just like Brother Nero.

Sorry, I am not losing my mind. It’s just that “Broken” Matt Hardy is the best thing in TNA right now, and I am watching the show right now as I type this. It’s characters like that who were the bread and butter of my material. I always loved the crazy bastards and silly gimmicks. Hell, I am probably the only one who still wants to see The Boogeyman back in WWE! I’m weird like that.

But, if I could be serious for a moment….yes, I am going to miss doing this blog once we are done with it. I will miss the insanity. I will miss being brutally honest and honestly brutal as I talk about anything and everything that I need to get off my chest. All I ever did was be myself. People think we all used personas and gimmicks while we presented these blogs, and yeah….we used character names to have a little fun here, but when we spoke, every word came from our hearts. The tone may have sometimes been a bit “odd”, but as much as we liked to have fun with it, we also never misrepresented ourselves. I can honestly tell you all that while you may have only seen me as “The Sarge”, my words and actions were completely genuine. The Sarge is who I am. I do my business here just like I do it in real life.

I have always been honest with everyone. “Brutally” honest, and when the time called for it, I reacted with “honest brutality”. That’s just how I roll. Why? Because whether I know any of you who actually read this thing over the years, or not…I respected people enough to shoot straight with them, and call it all like I see it. That was the essence of every Boot Camp article I have ever submitted since day one. That, and a few choice expletives mixed with plenty of poop and sex jokes. Yeah, I still had to have some fun with you guys. Life isn’t all serious. Sometimes you just have to take a step back, have nice chuckle at some basic silly shit, and let it remind you things aren’t as bad as they seem. We need things like that now more than ever….an outlet to help us cope with dealing with all the crap in this world. People who get offended when the wind changes frickin’ direction. Useless Millennials who barely have the ambition to squeeze out a bowel movement, let alone get a fucking job and contribute to society instead of taking selfies and posting pics of their food on Instagram. I have no time for people like that, and I know my troops are better than them. I do not surround myself with losers and wastes of good oxygen. If you were a fan of the Fatal 4-Way, and Sarge’s Boot Camp over these (almost) ten years we have been doing this, then it has been an honor to be a part of your world, if only for a few short moments.

Normally, this is where I would say “Until next time….”, but for now, I will leave you with this.

The Sarge salutes you!

To all my troops….and fellow team mates alike…this is The Sarge, OVER AND OUT!

Let me just remind you……: This isn’t “goodbye”. It’s just “see ya later”! 😉

One last chance to take advantage of these limited time offers, guys and gals! I’d love to keep up with ya when I am not running this little corner of Hell I call “home”. LOL

The Skirt Sheet

This might be a little emotional for me. Throughout the past 9 ½ years, I have seen so many talented and creative writers come through here to talk about a topic we all love, hate and love to hate. I started this blog over nine years ago to help me cope with the loss of my grandmother. Ironically, I’m saying good-bye to this blog to help me say good-bye to my granfather. It’s been a rough couple of months for me. I went from having one of the best years of my life, to one of the worst. I personally need to focus on healing, so that I’m OK for my daughter. Enough of the sappy stuff, I’ll shut it and get to bidness…

As many of you are well aware, the WWE recently split brands, again. In two weeks, it already to crap. RAW added a new championship, The WWE Universal Championship, since the WWE World Heavyweight Championship remained on SmackDown. The WWE Universal Champion will be crowned this weekend at SummerSlam, and it’ll be either Finn Balor or Seth Rollins. This match can pretty much go either way. Two championships, really kind of takes the legacy away from the original title. On the first RAW after the brand split, the women took to the ring for the WWE Women’s Championship match with champion Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks. The two of them had one hell of a near flawless match, with Banks winning the championship. Banks keeps having these amazing matches and lining herself up to have one of the greatest legacy’s in the history of women’s wrestling. Her matches with Bayley last year were flawless, and this one with Charlotte is right up there. Match of the year (so far) for me, Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks RAW July 25, 2016.

The booking for former Wyatt Family member, Braun Strowman is crucial. We haven’t really seen what he can do, or be, without the rest of the Wyatt’s. So far, booking him against jobbers is giving him a slow and traditional build-up. It really comes down to what happens when he’s against the main talent. Stay tuned.

SmackDown has been the weakest of the two shows. At least in terms of the Women’s division. How long is it until they get something to fight over? You can only have so many tag matches before people start noticing that those ladies have nothing to fight over but hair extenstions. Again, even if they do get their own belt, what is that going to do to the newly reinstated Women’s Championship? They can’t exactly bring in the Diva’s Championship again, seeing as they are ditching the whole “diva” thing. Do they have a large enough female roster to do something different? Like maybe a Women’s Tag Team division, complete with championship? I don’t think they do.

Everything right now with the WWE is a question right now. Nothing can be solved or figured out in a month. It’s like everything is new because there are so many questions as to what do they do with this? Or what do they do with that? I’m not sure if it makes it interesting again or if it’s just irriatating. I’m partially both.

I’m so taken back by this being the last time I talk wrestling to all of you, that I’m kinda stuck on material. I’m trying my best here folks.

Finn Balor is continuing to impress me. I’m not sure if he will win the WWE Universal Championship, but I’m sure that will be a great match. He has such a presense in the ring that whenever he comes out, I’m interested. I’m not sure revealing Demon King Balor on RAW this past week was wise. That’s a part of him that should be reserved for pay-per-views. The biggest mistake the WWE could ever do is allow the Demon side of Balor to talk. That part of him needs to remain silent. So far, so good. But I won’t be surprised if in the near future, the WWE requests the Demon to talk. It will likely ruin the character much like it fucked over the Ascension when they first came in. I’ve always said it, but the moment they allowed those two to talk, was the day they were finished.

Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar build up started off relatively strong with Orton carrying the start on the last ppv event, Battleground, on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel. Orton did really good on that promo. It wasn’t a perfect promo, but he kept it interesting and entertaining. Then having Orton storm RAW, was great. It was a no brianer to have Lesnar do the same the following night on SmackDown. However, the WWE keeping them off shows together, the ball seems to have been dropped. Not a whole lot of drama or build up for their match this weekend. Seems like a wasted opportunity. There is no reason as to why the two brands couldn’t come to a mutual agreement to allow them on both shows until SummerSlam.

What will be Bray Wyatt’s role in the WWE Championship match? Will he cost Dolph Ziggler the championship, or will he inadvertantly help Ziggler defeat Dean Ambrose? I have a feeling Wyatt will likely find himself in a program against Dolph Ziggler once this match has taken place. Don’t think you won’t see Wyatt this Sunday, because I’d bet my last dollar (and believe me, at this point, that’s all I have)that Wyatt will be instramental in the WWE Heavyweight Championship match. Could even culminate in a triple threat at next months ppv. One never knows.

Since I mentioned the Final Deletion earlier in the blog, I guess I need to talk about it, eh? After several of my friends urged me to watch the Hardy’s in the Final Deletion, I took to the youtube, and watched it. I like the concept, but there were so many super cheesy elements that I could have lived without. I’m not sure what the fuck Matt Hardy has smoked recently, but I assure you it has to be a bad batch. I never thought in a million years, that Jeff Hardy would ever end up the normal one of the two. Oddly enough, neither Jeff or Matt Hardy, excuse me Brother Nero or Broken Matt, were the stars of this, this thing…That distinction goes to the Dilapitated Boat. That damn boat has garnered more attention than this match. It’s mind boggling really. I’m not a fan of Matt and Reby bringing Maxell to the ring or the this recording. It can’t possibly be good for the youngster’s developing mind. I don’t want to hear 20 years from now that Maxell is a serial killer. That poor child has therapy in his future. I’m guessing all of you are like, “wtf is wrong with Deevs? She’s such a Hardy fan…” Well, I am, and I like to see them do well, but there comes a time when I actually have to scratch my head and say, “really?” Creatively, it was great. It made for great television, and all that. The Broken Matt character is too out there for me, and if it was just the two brother’s fighting in their yard and not all the weird stuff in between, it wouldn’t have had me rolling my eyes. Basically that was 17 minutes, I’ll never get back. Although still better than any Eva Marie match/promo/anything.

I’m going to wrap this up soon. First off, I know we won’t be around for Halloween this year, but as most of you know, my fiance and I throw our annual Halloween party, and this year is the fifth one. I wanted to go all out so I came up with the ultimate idea… Three Faces Of Foley. Yes that’s right, I have three costumes; Mankind, Cactus Jack and Dude Love. I’ve even gotten approval and help from the Mickster himself. He gave me a heads up about the Cactus Jack t-shirt sale back in June, and has given me ideas about how to pull this off. With the help of my amazing fiance, Mathew, my mask is coming along. It took a while to figure out how to do this without breaking the bank, and last Saturday, he did it. It’s not completely finished yet, but basically in three hours, Mat constructed Mankind’s mask by using brown duct tape and cardboard from a 12-pack of beer he found. So here is the latest photo, now keep in mind it’s not finished yet, and our model, Ted (yes that Ted), has a much smaller head than yours truly.

my foley mask

Now to see the finished photos of all three costumes you can check out my twitter around Halloween. I’ve recently changed my twitter handle from F4WDiva to OrcaDiva80. So look for OrcaDiva80 on twitter.

Time has come to say good-bye. I couldn’t have done this without my wonderful friends who have contributed to this little blog that could; Darren, you started when it was just a silly little idea, which then it grew with Bill (aka Sarge), Steve (aka The Game), and Marek (aka The Polish Prince). You guys rock. Thank you for all the great pieces and memories. Barbie Girl comes to mind as being one of the most EPIC blog pieces ever. If only I had time to go find it to repost it just one last time, I would. After Marek left us to work hard at school, we had Leila (aka Violet), adding another female voice to such a male dominated sports entertainment, then Peter (aka the Hitman), and finally Greg (aka King Greg). I can’t forget the people who wrote Run-Ins; My niece, Kaitlyn, Mike aka Chipper, Kenneth, Brandon, Carla. Just thank you to all of you. I love all of you and no words can describe how grateful I am to know you and to have worked with you and your talent. We still will all remaind friends when the curtain falls, no one can take that bond away. I just know that I couldn’t have done this without all of you. It’s hard to say good-bye, but we all know it’s best to hang up those wrestling boots before the fame fades, and you just become a lime light hog. Best to go out on top (and there are so many jokes to go with that).

Money In The Bank 2016 and more

In Memory Of

Chris Warren

000 F4W 2016 Banner

Welcome back to the Fatal 4-Way. Hey where are all you peeps who used to write for us occassionally? Don’t have anything to say about the wrestling product right now? That’s too bad because we could use someone to do a run-in for us.

As usual this year, we are starting off with an In Memory of. Not sure who Chris Warren is, well here’s a hint…. https://youtu.be/Et3BR1q8KlY

Chris Warren was the vocals of the D-Generation X theme song. He passed away this past Sunday at the age of 49. There is no word on what he died of. Thoughts go out to his family, friends, and fans.

The Skirt Sheet

What a busy month May has been. So much so, we forgot to put our Extreme Rules predictions. I wouldn’t worry too much since we probably didn’t do all that great on them, lol. I know I didn’t. I think I maybe got three matches right. Forever the hopeful, I suppose. Anyhow, I’ll shut it and get to bidness…

Money In The Bank has always been one of my favourite matches, so I do look forward to this event of the same name. I wish there was at least a second Money In The Bank match on the card. I would love to see the Women’s MITB, or I’d even settle for a tag team MITB. The crop of women we have right now could so pull it off. Just because they’re women, doesn’t mean they can’t handle it. I’m curious to know if any of them would actually be interested in a MITB ladder match for a contract. Can you imagine them saying “no” to a history making match? I can’t. I know if it was me, I’d be like “hell yeah I want to do it!” I might be crazy, but whatever. Even if they just did a ladder match for the Women’s Championship, that would be so amazing. It feels so good just saying “Women’s Championship” again. Lol. History in the making, Bitches!!!

Speaking of women; Why is Dana Brooke on the main roster before Bayley? Don’t we have enough heel diva’s…err…women? My bad. Old habits die hard. I can’t even stand listening to her “tawk”. There is just something about her that makes me so mad. I think it’s her face.

Charlotte is doing great as a heel champion. However, turning on her father, Ric Flair, did nothing to help her. It actually only made Flair look like a pussy. I think it worked better with him by her side. It adds to her entourage, and a heel champion always looks better with an entourage. The more people following her, the better it looks for a heel champion, and inflates her “ego” that much more. That’s my opinon anyways.

I’ve had a lot on my mind recently. I’m so busy with chasing after my 16-month old. She runs everywhere, and no longer likes to be restrained in her car seat and her stroller. Although we obviously make sure she can’t get out of the car seat. Got wedding planning to begin soon too, and of course my activism. May turned out to be a busy month on just events alone. Had a symposium in Toronto the one weekend and the following weekeing was the opening day demonstration at Marineland. King Greg came with me to the symposium along with my niece Emily. She and a friend of hers came with me to the demonstration too. River actually held her first protest sign, lol. Super cute. But it’s been hard to focus on stuff with the passing of my grandfather, and trying to help my mom out, taking care of the house, the baby, my fiance, and getting all this stuff done. I’m burning out quick. Which is probably why I forgot all about the Extreme Rules event last month. Usually I use wrestling as my escape from all that, but it’s been extremely difficult as of late because there isn’t much happening that can pull my interest. I end up doing dishes or going outside for some air (and a smoke). I get to see the first two hours of RAW each Monday night before I head into work, and every damn time its the frigging New Day. WWE, please do me a favour and wait until 10:01 to put the New Day on television. Is that so hard to ask? I cannot handle the grossness that is Big E air humping everything. So disgusting.

Yeah I’ve already lost focus. I had more in my head for that, but I cannot even think about what it was that I was going to say. So moving on…

So in July (I think the 19th), SmackDown is moving to Tuesday’s and is also going live. On a Tuesday? It’ll be up against The Flash. I think they would have been better off going live on a Friday when it wasn’t up against a Superhero television series, because I’m going to be choosing The Flash over SmackDown, unless The Flash is a repeat that week. I’d rather be watching Barry Allen, the fastest man alive, and I have a few friends who will probably choose The Flash over SmackDown. I just hope they don’t add another hour to it making it a three hour show. I just can’t handle that. As for the brand split, I’m not sure. I mean there is always good that can come out of it, but there is also bad that comes out of it too. It does allow some of the lesser used talent to get a bit more air time, which is great. But at the same time, you don’t want to have to sit through what was a 10 minute Reigns or Cena promo, but now it’ll be 20 minutes of them being asshats. And they can’t break up any factions. The factions work well because they have that group. When they broke up the Wyatt’s before, it just didn’t work for any of them. They need to keep The Wyatt’s, the Club, the New Day (yes, they need to keep them together), and just leave them alone. Also, just keep one set of tag team champions, one Women’s champion, one WWE World Heavyweight champion, and not make duplicate titles. That was what really sucked with the brand split the last time. In that case, no more title runs for John Cena, I need, no demand, less of him. I don’t need him to be on both shows. His time is done, it’s time for him to help the new and younger talent coming up.

On the same note, apparently Triple H announced that NXT will no longer be 1-hour. It will now be 3-hours. Dumb move. Yes I see the point of making NXT a bit longer, but how about by just another 30-minutes? If they do another Take-Over, it will mean fuck all because the product is already 3-hours. There is no point to this. A 90-minute show would be perfect. Haven’t they ever heard there is too much of a good thing?

Loved, loved LOVED AJ Styles promo two weeks ago against John Cena. He freaking nailed it and I actually cheered in my living room. I was so happy….

…once you’ve wrestled John Cena and lose, it’s time to bring out the shovels, because guys like you, bury guys like me.”-AJ Styles

Isn’t that what we’ve been saying all along? As soon as Cena faces a new guy, they’re done. Truer words have never been spoken until AJ Styles said that. Bravo AJ! Bra-fucking-vo!

Lets take a break from the bitching for a moment, shall we?

At the beginning of this month, I had the pleasure of meeting one of my childhood favourites for the second time, Jake “The Snake” Roberts at Niagara Falls Comicon. Had a picture done with him, and I purchased a signed copy of his DVD “The Resurection of Jake The Snake.” This isn’t a WWE sanctioned DVD, but more like a documentary chroncialing Jake’s road to sobriety and getting back into shape. It’s powerful, and starts off with one of his last in-ring appearances on the Indy scene, where he appears drunk or high, or both. It was very sad and heartbreaking to see him that way. It follows his struggles to get clean, rebuild his relationship with his family, and get back into shape. With the help of Diamon Dallas Page, Jake manages to battle these issues, as well as a major road block to his recovery. I have gained so much respect for DDP after watching this, and as a fan of Jake’s, I am so proud of him. He should be dead. I hate to say that but it’s true. Anyone who is familiar with all his struggles throughout his life, right from childhood to now, would think that he shouldn’t be on this planet right now. I cried at the beginning and the end. It wasn’t because I was naive to think that he wasn’t that bad, but because I chose not to go looking for it online. I chose not to read about all that. I wanted to maintain the memories I had watching him when I was a child and not knowing what was truly going on with him. I cried at the end because of the pride I felt in seeing him overcome it all. Whether he stays clean and sober, is the next step, but for now I want to believe in him. I want to meet him again and again until he stops doing these appearances. It’s truly inspirational to see him come through all those demons and struggles. If he can do it, I think anyone can.

Jake and Me

That same day, I also met someone who I respect very much, and had been waiting to meet for a long time, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. What an absolute gentleman. So very kind and friendly to talk to. Mat’s friend Peter gave me his figure about two or three Christmas’ ago, and that was one of the ones I have been looking for, for a few years. Since I got it, I’ve been waiting for him to come to Niagara Falls or Hamilton, and finally he did. So I was super stoked.

Steamboat and me

While I was waiting for “the Dragon”, Shawn Michaels was at the next table. I spent $100 meeting both Jake and Ricky, which covered both having my photo taken with both of them and the two autographs. Shawn was charging $100 just for an autograph, and he wasn’t allowing any photos with him at the table. In fact, he had so much security there who were stopping people standing in line from taking photos of him. Unlike the other celebrities where you pay at the table, they made people pay before they got into line, and they also cut the line off so no one else could get in the line to meet him. Then he was charging another $100 for a photo op in a room off to the side of the event. I’ve met him before, and he’s not worth $100 for either opportunity. He’s a dick! I’ve met both Ric Flair and Bret Hart, and neither of them charged what Shawn Michaels was charging. But Flair and Hart deserve to be charging that much, but didn’t. It was ridiculous. The only person who I would ever drop that kind of money on is The Undertaker.

So Shawn Michaels cost these people $240. Lets break it down for you; $40 was the price of the ticket just to get into Saturday’s event, then he charged $100 just to scribble his name on something, and then another $100 to stand next to him for a photo for 10 seconds. Yeah…HELL NO!!! Shawn Michaels should be ashamed of himself.

OK sorry, the no-bitching didn’t last long.

I did manage to score on my action figures. I went in there with three that I wanted and walked out with two of them, but only because Becky Lynch wasn’t available up this way yet and no one had her in yet. I got Bayley (FINALLY, after hunting for her for a few months now), and demon Finn Balor.

Balor and Bayley

Great Ambrose Assylum this past Monday on RAW. Both Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins continue to dominate the mic work. Roman Reigns needs to comm off as less cocky, because if the WWE wants him to remain a baby-face, coming off cocky doesn’t help. That’s why he’s being booed. If the WWE were smart, which clearly they are not, they should have made him a heel a while ago, and when they brought back Rollins, they should have made him a face. That’s what the fans want. Then again, since when does the WWE ever do what the fans want? Never! This time we are right. If they’re so worried about making Roman Reigns into the next John Cena, then they need to get rid of John Cena. As long as Cena is still there, they don’t need another one. This gives them ample opportunity to play around with Reigns and see if he can cut it as a heel.

Well, I think I’m done for this week. I’ve babbled on enough as it is. Plus I’m at work and probably should be doing my stupid job. Yeah I’m beginning to hate it. One of my co-workers was taken out of the building because of a personal issue between the office manager and her, although my co-worker didn’t care. She was fine here. I hate the guy who replaced her. He smells like rotting bologna. So gross. He’s also an asshole. I hope no one who lives in the condo where I work reads this. Hmm. Doubt it. Lol!!! Each night has just sucked more and more. Maybe the job is getting too stale for me, I’m not sure. I’m just finding myself more and more bored. Could be that I have so much to do at home that I feel like I’m wasting my time. Whatever the reason, I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

Hey everyone and welcome to another edition of the Fatal 4-Way! I hope everyone is having a great May so far! Mine has bee pretty good! I have been working lots and doing other things to keep me busy! I am really enjoying my at Ting. It has made me really happy and positive too! I have a feeling that this job is going to bring me some big opportunities for the future! Now I just need a love life and my own place!

A few Sundays ago was WWE’s Payback PPV and I thought it was really great compared to WM the PPV before. I really enjoyed AJ Styles vs Roman Reigns. It was a great match and both guys worked their asses off! I was hoping AJ would of won but he didn’t! But they do have a rematch at Extreme Rules and I’m hoping maybe AJ will finally get the WWE World Championship. We shall see!

Another match that I liked(up until the end of the match) was the Woman’s match between Charlotte vs Natalya for the Woman’s Championship. Ric Flair was in Charlotte’s corner and Bret Hart was Natayla’s corner. I guess you could figure out that there was going to be a screwy finish when Bret Hart was going to be part of it. Of course the ref rang the bell when Natayla was in a submission but didn’t tap. Yeah here we go again Montreal all over! Ugh. It was what it was.

Dean Ambrose vs Chris Jericho was pretty sweet! They had a great match at Payback! I can’t wait to see how their 2nd match at Extreme Rules is going to turn out! Should be a fun match! I think Chris Jericho is leaving after Extreme Rules to take another break. He has done well in his latest round. He seems to always have the best matches!

So it looks like there will be some big returns coming up in the WWE lately. We will be seeing John Cena come back at the Memorial Day RAW. But also set to return in June is Seth Rollins(yes!), Randy Orton(I can’t wait but I’m not sure what they will do for him) and Bray Wyatt will make a return from his injury as well.

Speaking about injuries it looks like Emma injured her back and now she needs back surgery to repair some of the discs in her. I hope she can recover soon. Also Nikki Bella is supposed to find out soon if her neck surgery healed well. She is supposed to give us an update very soon.

I just found out this years Survivor Series will be taking place in Toronto at the ACC! I’m happy to hear about that! It has been way too long since we had a PPV in Toronto! It is about time I say! Which brings me to my next question does that mean we will get a NXT Takeover in Toronto the night before? I would love to go see either one for sure!

In a couple of weeks I will be going with Diva and Darren to Comic Con to see Shawn Michaels. We will be getting the photo op with him. That should be interesting to say the least! Jake The Snake Roberts will be there too. He is always fun to see and talk to. I kinda want to meet Ricky The Dragon Steamboat too. He will be there.

Anyway that’s all I have to talk about this for this edition of the Fatal 4-Way. I hope you have a nice day! Enjoy the long weekend in Canada and in US next weekend! See you next time!

Can we first start off with What the Fuck?! Last month we had three “In Memory of’s” and this month we have three more. All within two weeks of each other. It’s nothing to scoff at that’s for sure. Three wrestling deaths in two weeks, that’s not counting the other celebrities who have passed away. Last week alone there were two celebrities; “Everybody Loves Raymond” Doris Roberts, and of course musical icon Prince, with Chyna the day before Prince. So sad.

Robert Windham was part of one of the greatest tag teams, The Blackjacks. He’s had a very long and fullfilling career with multiple tag team championships through various organizations, like the NWA and WWE. In 2006, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Robert Windham is the materal grandfather of two current WWE superstars, Windham and Taylor Rotunda (also known as Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas). Our deepest sympathies the the Windham and Rotunda families.

Everyone knew Jonathan Rechner as Balls Mahoney, and his crazy career in ECW. Balls was a 3-time Tag Team Champion; twice with Spike Dudley and once with Masato Tanaka. His death was rather sudden as it happened the day after his 44the birthday while watching Jeopardy. He was answering questions, then turned over on the couch to get comfortable. His wife found him unconsious and dialled 911. By the time the medics got there, he had passed away. Our condolances to his wife and son, as well as friends and family.

Chyna was called the 9th Wonder of the World as she was built like a truck. She first joined the WWE in 1997 as the femal bodyguard to Shawn Michaels and then boyfriend Hunter Hearst Helmsley as part of DeGeneration-X. She would eventually become a decorative female wrestler, being the first and ONLY female to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship, being the first female to enter the male dominated Royal Rumble, as well as being WWE Women’s Champion before leaving the company. She had a breif stint in New Japan Pro Wrestling and another brief stint in Total Non-stop Action. Sadly, her life would go down a bad path of porn films and drugs. She was even busted for domestic abuse on former DX member and former fiance, Sean “X-Pac” Waltman. It sounded like Chyna got clean enough to then spend time in Japan teaching English. On April 20th, 2016, her friend found her dead in her bed. She died of an “accidental” overdose.

The Skirt Sheet

What a month April has proved to be. WrestleMania thwas an almost seven-hour event of virtually fuck-all. The deaths of wrestler’s and celebrities has been too much, and I lost someone extremely important to me. I’m going to shut it and get to bidness…

Deaths have been happening at a record pace since December 2015. It seems surprise after surprise as the hits just keep on coming. This month, there have been three wrestling deaths; Blackjack Mulligan, Balls Mahoney and Chyna. Chyna’s death has caught the most attention from the media. And although I’m sad that she has passed away so young, I’m more surprised that it took this long. I wish her nothing but peace now. As for the celebrity deaths this month, nothing hit me more than the death of a musical legend. Prince. He was so incredibly talented, and just such an icon. My mom had (still does) a huge stack of vinyl records, and I used to steal Prince’s “Purple Rain” album and play it on my Fisher Price record player. His one of a select few that I would play. Whenever his music came on the radio, or my iPod, the volume would go up, and I’d sing and/or dance along. He’s one of my favourite guitarist, which I don’t think people have given him enough credit for. What I had in his music was in cassette form and I have yet to fill the void in my current musical library with his music. I’ll always party like it’s “1999” whenever I hear a Prince song. Rest In Peace Prince.

My talking about death isn’t over. I wish it was. On Saturday April 16th, 2016, I was forced to say good-bye to my amazing Grandfather. I was lucky to have spent the past 36 years with such an amazing man. This is going to be hard for me to write, as the tears are already filling my eyes. There are so many words that I would love to say right now, but I need to keep this brief. My grandpa Earl, was the most talented man I knew. He would go to work as a cabinet maker, doing work in other people’s houses, come home after a 8-10 hour day and work on his and my grandmother’s lovely home. On weekends he would sit and carve many amazing things, like ducks, santa clauses, a whale (just for me), ornaments, cowboys, you name it, he’s probably carved it. He has taken large pieces of trees that have been cut down and have made super tall carvings of a Canadian Mountie, a bear, a Sailor, and other tree trunk carvings. I’m talking these were 7 feet or more tall carvings. Just amazing. That day, my world just shattered. Everything happened so fast that at the same time it felt as if time just stood still. Two days before he passed away, he was dancing in my parents livingroom with my daughter, his first and only great-grandchild, to the Wiggles. I’m so glad that she got to spend the first 14 months of her life with her Grandpa-Great. I’m so glad that River brought so much joy to my grandfather in these past 14 months too. Since losing my grandmother in October of 2005, I haven’t seen him truly smile until River was born. She brought him so much love and joy and I’m so glad he got to be with her. Even if just for a short time. He got sick so fast. Five hours. That’s all. Blood infection which sent him into septic shock. My mom (his daughter), my dad, brother and his partner, and myself were all there with him when he left us to join my grandmother. His only living brother, Wayne, was able to see him too before he passed away, and his nephew and his wife got there about ten minutes too late. If he only knew just how much he was loved and respected. I never got to tell him I loved him. I had two opportunities to do so that day, but I didn’t expect him to leave us. So no matter what, always say those words. Everyday. He had a hell of a life. A wonderful and respected 87 years. I’ll miss his funny faces, silly jokes, and ribbing. He always made me laugh, always. I was lucky to share all 36 (yes I’m that old) birthday’s with him. I love you so much Grandpa, and I already miss you

March 31, 1929 to April 16, 2016

OK enough sadness already. Now it’s time to start picking bones with the WWE about WrestleMania.

1- It was too fucking long. There wasn’t enough alcohol in my house, ok actually there was, lol. But it was still way too long. If they can overbook a four-hour event with half the good talent injured, that they needed to add two more hours to it, then makes you wonder how bloody long it would have been if those injured guys weren’t injured and also on the card. Like fuck!

2-A No Holds Barred Street Fight with two of the most unpredictable wrestlers, should have been way more exciting and at least a bit bloody than what it was. I was soooo disappointed in the Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar match. Probably the most disappointing match of the entire event for me at least. If you can’t make a NHBSF good, then just make it a regular match. Geeze!

3-If Shane McMahon was just going to run RAW for the rest of the month anyways, what was the fucking point of his match against The Undertaker? The stipulation was, if Shane won the Hell In A Cell match against Taker, he would hae controll of RAW and it would be the last WrestleMania for Undertaker. He did NOT win!! So what was the point? He’s been running RAW since. Do you remember what I said last month about how the WWE doesn’t follow through with any of their storylines? They have no clue what they’re fucking doing!

Match of the night go to the Women’s division’s, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. Those three ladies brought it all. I was not let down by any of it. More so by saying good-bye to the Diva’s championship, and bringing back the Women’s Championship. Bye disgusting Butterfly belt, hello prestigious and classy belt. That was long-overdue. Looks like the term Diva is on the way out as well, as lately they have been referring it to the Women’s Division. Charlotte being the one to represent the rebirth of this title, is a strong way to rebuild the reputation back from when Candace Michelle, Layla and Michelle McCool ruined it and took a giant shit all over the legacy that was built up to it before them. Charlotte is the best way to bring credibilty back to this championship.

Lets talk about the other women’s match. I fucking called it! Thank-you to Paige, Natalya, Emma and Naomi, however for really working hard. It must have been hard to carry the rest of them on your backs. No surprise but Lana sucked as much as her twat did eating up her stupid body suit. Holy camel toe whore bitch. Eva Marie sucked, Brie Bella sucked, but at least thats the last of them. When did the WWE become like the school system? Where everyone gets a WrestleMania paycheck even if they didn’t work hard to deserve it? Our school system passes everyone even if they are technically failing. All because they don’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings. Fucking get over it. Life is hard. People are not going to be soft on you you’re whole life. You’re not getting a promotion because the boss feels bad for you, nope, you’ll get fired. Like c’mon! The school system is not preparing the current generation for life outside of those walls. They’re handling them with bubble wrap and padding to keep their feelings from getting hurt. I had to work my ass off. No kid is going to work their ass off if they are just going to be handed a pass anyways. My daughter, is going to work her ass off. If she doesn’t deserve to be passed, I’ll be the one, saying “no, she needs to work harder and doesn’t deserve this. Hold her back.” That may make me a bitch, but you know what, I want my daughter to work hard for her goals. Working hard and knowing you deserve the reward at the end, teaches disapline and most importantly, self-respect. When you hand the ultimate goal of WrestleMania and the paycheck that goes along with it, to people like Eva Marie, and Lana, and they still can’t deliver, they don’t deserve to be there. They clearly haven’t worked hard enough for it. They shouldn’t have just been handed that opportunity. They did not deserve that opportunity.

It’s nice to see the WWE pushing some of NXT talent. Baron Corbin was the surprise winner of the Andre The Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania, and has worked hard since. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady, The Vaudvillians and Apollo Crews have all been called up to the main roster. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have been given the opportunity and they’ve run with it. But it sucks that guys like Neville and Tyler Breeze, seem to be held down.

Looks like Wade Barrett is gone. The League of Nations turned on him and he hasn’t been seen since. Obviously this saddens and angers me. I loved that guy. He told the company a few months back that he was unhappy with what they’ve done with him and had decided not to resign in June. I don’t bloody blame him. I’m still going to blame John Cena for holding Wade back since he doesn’t like Wade at all. And I can blame him because this is my blog and I can do whatever the hell I want.

I’m totally loving the Edge and Christian show. OMG, Mat and I watch it each week together and we sit there just killing ourselves laughing. Maybe we are immature, or we think the same way as E&C. Oh man. So friggin’ good.

I’m happy that Maryse is back in the WWE. I’ve always liked her. During her first run, she was one of the only women to have developed a decent character, and could cut decent promos. She was a solid in-ring worker, who worked hard and kept learning. She made for an excellent heel diva. Maryse is probably more well-liked than her husband, The Miz. I’m just glad she’s back and I hope she’ll get back into the ring again.

There will be some changes to the cast of Total Diva’s. Bye-bye to Rosa, Alicia and Mandy (who?), and say hello to Lana, Renee Young and Maryse. There will also be a spin-off called Total Bellas, which will continue to follow Nichol and Brie, and their family. However, they will still be featured on Total Diva’s. I’m wondering if it’ll just be for season 6 because the footage has already been taken for the show, or because they are the attention whores that we think them to be? They don’t need to be on Total Diva’s if they have their own show. The only way I’ll watch Total Bella’s is for Daniel Bryan. OMG he cracks me up. Total Bella’s will feature Nikki and Brie, John and Bryan, their mother Kathy and her new husband, John Laurenitus, and their brother JJ and his wife. Yeah Bryan is the only one interesting on that show.

I’m too tired to go on, so I’m finishing this sucker off here. Besides, I have work to do. Enjoy this weekend’s event. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

BOOT CAMP

What’s crackin’….uhh…..crackers? Sorry, was that racist? I don’t fucking care. Anybody will get offended by any little thing these days. Ya know, it’s like I don’t even need to try anymore. It used to be a challenge to try and get under people’s skins, but with how the world is today, all I have to do is show up! “Generation Butt-hurt” has taken all the sport out of my game….but that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop playing it.

So, this Sunday is WWE Payback, or as we here in the Fatal 4-Way call it, Refund! That is, until they put all WWE PPVs exclusively on the WWE Network and nobody can really get their money back if they are unhappy with the product. You want to talk about disappointing, though? Even though I had a great time watching WrestleMania, I just felt more and more disheartened with every match’s outcome seeing that pretty much none of my predictions were right. I got all the Pre-Show matches right, but those probably don’t even count. Come the main card….I flopped worse than a hockey fan trying to call the winner of the Super Bowl! Let’s just say it….my WrestleMania predictions were BOOTY! Should have eaten my Booty-Os that morning, but I was fresh out. I let my kids have the last bowl.

Come to think about it, I should probably knock it off with the New Day references for a while. Word of it might get back to them somehow, and then I will have to sit through them calling this little social experiment of mine….”Sarge’s Booty Camp”. I am not sure if I would be honored or upset by that.

===================================

I had to chuckle a little during this commercial they showed during SmackDown about the Make-A-Wish foundation and how the WWE superstars are so honored to be a part of these kids’ lives and what-not. I am not trying to make fun of any of it because I have very deep respect for this foundation and what WWE has done for them. The thing that made me laugh was this one piece of footage they showed with Brock Lesnar holding this one kid up over his head like Simba being presented to all the animals of the Pride Lands. I bet this kid didn’t sign up to get “Lion King’d” as part of that deal. Does that make the wrestling ring they were in the “Squared Circle of Life”? What was going through that kid’s head at that moment? Hakuna Matata means I just shat myself.

Okay, I am done.

===================================

I love that Shane McMahon was still given control of RAW even after he lost against The Undertaker at WrestleMania. I mean, there really was no other way that match could have ended, even after Shane jumped off the top of the cell (probably the only thing I mentioned in my last article that actually happened that night), no way WWE was going to have Undertaker sent packing like that.

What has begun to worry me is the reappearance of Stephanie McMahon into the equation. Now, Vince McMahon is scheduled to appear at WWE Payback and decide which one of them is going to run RAW. This is worrisome to me because it reeks of a possible return of the brand split! Vinnie Mac, in all his senile splendor, could very well give control of RAW to either Shane of Steph….and then let whoever is left run SmackDown as part of this sibling rivalry angle. The last time there was a brand split, I hated every minute of it. It seemed pointless and made it confusing to follow certain storylines because the people involved in them were only on TV once a week. That said, it also will cause lacking storyline and character development. How is any of this a good thing?? Anyone?? Bueller?? I’ll judge by all the crickets I hear in response that nobody else wants this to happen, either. I don’t blame you.

===================================

Zack Ryder. Good Lord, talk about pointless shit. Having him get the “upset of the century” fluke win for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania was just another “WTF” moment by the end of RAW the following night after The Miz won the IC title from Ryder. It sparked a short feud with The Miz that also saw the return of Cesaro, but if you ask me, the best thing to come out of this storyline with The Miz and Zack Ryder was the return of Maryse! God, how I missed her. I know she was never the greatest in-ring talent (though she wasn’t terrible), but she still looks just as sexy as I remember. It’s like she hasn’t aged a day. Sure, we probably have Botox and the greatest surgeons money can buy to thank for keeping her looking so fresh and amazing, but I’m not going to complain. She looks great and I am glad she is back on TV. I only wish she was back performing in the ring as well. Anyway….right back in the old Spank Bank, she goes!

Yes, I am a pig. Whatcha gonna do?

===================================

Well, I don’t know what you’re gonna do, but I am going to hit the bricks for now. Yeah, I know. This one was kind of short, but Hell…they can’t all be ‘War and “Peace, now can they? Deal with it, cupcake.

I’ll catch you all next time, troops. Until then….YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

Hey everyone and welcome back to another edition of the Fatal 4-Way! I hope everyone is doing well. I’m enjoying a 5 day vacation this week. I’m on day two of five now. Today was a lot of fun. I ended up being a tourist in Niagara Falls today! It was a lot of fun! 🙂 I had a great time with my friend/co-worker Jen. We went up the Skylon Tower, then we did Journey Behind The Falls, then we went to Boston Pizza for lunch, and after that we went to the Hershey’s Store. So it was a fun time indeed! I guess now it is time to get into some wrestling news and opinions…

First off lets talk about WrestleMania 32. It wasn’t so bad. I did enjoy it. It was better than I thought it was going to be. I miss a few matches because I didn’t finish work until 7:20pm that day and it takes about 45 mins to get to Diva’s house. But once I got there, it was a great time! I probably say my two favourite matches were The Undertaker vs Shane McMahon and Charlotte vs Sasha vs Becky. Both matches were awesome and I was really happy with both of them. The Undertaker won his match(which I did pick him to win) and of course Shane McMahon did the jump off the top of the cage. That was pretty cool to see! Charlotte won her match. I was really hoping that they would give Sasha the Women Championship but I know it might take a while before she actually gets it. But I do believe she is better performer in the Women division. Just sayin! Lol

The Dean Ambrose vs Brock Lesnar match was a little disappointing. I thought they would of had a better match but it just didn’t really jell. There were a few mistakes and the wrong wrestler went over. It should of been Dean. But I don’t book WWE so I guess it isn’t my call! Lol

The main event between Triple H and Roman Reigns was what I suspected and it was Roman going over winning the WWE World Championship. Now Roman is our WWE Champion lol yay! Of course the fans aren’t happy with that and I don’t really blame them either. Oh well. I guess we will see how long this championship reign will last!

Moving on into the sad news we lost a few wrestlers since the last time we blog. Chyna and Axel Rotten both passed away. One wasn’t really a surprise but the other one was. Both were talented performers and they will be missed. When Chyna first started wrestling she did break barriers in the WWE for the women who came after her. She was a great wrestler and it saddens me how the last few years of her life she decided to go down in a dark path and it lead her to her early death. This could of been preventable and I heard people close to her tried to help her out. I just still find it pretty sad. Now she is gone. May she rest in peace.

Of course another celebrity well I should say singer passed away last week and that was Prince. I really loved his music. He has so many hits and I remember buying his Diamond and Pearls cassette(yes I used to buy those) and I was so in awe with it. Such an amazing Artist that I never got to see live. 😦

The PPV is this Sunday and main event is Roman Reigns vs AJ Styles. AJ won a Fatal 4-Way match to become the number 1 contender for the WWE Championship. It should be a good match, I don’t think AJ will win but I would love to see him though! I do believe his buddies who showed up on RAW will turn on him and cost him the match. Then aline with Roman Reigns. Which would make sense because everyone is booing Reigns right now so they might as well make him a heel!

Anyway that’s it for me this month! I hope you all enjoy the PPV and the weather! Here’s hoping for some more warmer weather! Have a nice day!

Are you ready for WRESTLEMAAAAANIAAAAAAA?!!! Probably not, lol. Doesn’t look to be a strong event but none the less us loyal and maybe even stupid fans will still tune in, and then one of two things will happen; we will either be surprised and love it or we will shit all over it. I doubt there will be any inbetween. So doubt it. Lol!!

As you can see not only did we kick-off the Mania blog with an “In Memory Of” but we kicked it off with two. Probably not the most well known to most of us North Americans is the first one; Japanese Professional Wrestler, Eiji Ezaki, also known as Hayabusa. He lead a wonderful career that ended too soon when he went to do a top rope moonsault and landed on his head, paralyzing him. He then began a music career and was suppose to meet a friend and bar tender on the night of his death, but never showed up. He died of a subarachnoid hemorrhage. He was 47.

Hayabusa

Gary Lee Fulton wrestled in North America under the name Journeyman Charles Fulton. He began his career in 1968 and worked right until 1992. He even worked for the World Wrestling Federation at one point. His wife stated that he had been dealing with a bad heart for about 30 years, but it finally killed him when he died of Congestive Heart Failure.

Charles Fulton

Kris Travis was a British wrestler who may not be super well known to North American fans, but was well loved and respected among the global wrestling community. Such a young soul to be taken from the world, he passed away this past Thursday after losing his battle to stomach cancer.

Kris Travis

So now with all that sad stuff out the way, on to the other sad stuff…Talk of WrestleMania. Enjoy the read peeps….

Fotor20150515

Hey everyone, how are we doing today? I can’t believe March is over already and Easter too! I hope everyone had a great Easter(if you celebrated it). My Easter was good. I actually went home a few days before Easter to celebrate my birthday and Easter with my family. It was very nice! We went out to this nice restaurant in Guelph. It was a nice visit! I also got my teeth cleaned too! Lol Anyway lets get on with some wrestling.

First I’m going to talk about something positive! I went to see Jake The Snake Robert’s show at a comedy club in St. Catharines. Yeah it was such an honour to see his show! He really had some funny stories from the road. He also talked about his struggle with his life and how he has changed for the better! He is a remarkable guy and he is actually really down to earth! If you get a chance to see him do his show, please do so! You won’t be sorry! I will probably see him again in June when he is at Niagara Falls Comic Con along with Shawn Michaels and Ricky Steamboat.

Now it is time to get into the negative stuff…WrestleMania 32. I don’t know about you guys but this card looks pretty bad. There are only really two matches I want to see on this PPV and that is Dean Ambrose vs Brock Lesnar and Charlotte vs Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch. Those seem to be the ones that I am really interested in! That’s pretty bad. First off I want to say Dean Ambrose should be the WWE World Champion. He shouldn’t of lost against Triple H at the Roadblock a few weekends ago. He actually won the match but the ref said his feet were under the ropes?! I don’t know, it was a close one. But anyway Dean should be in the main event, it shouldn’t be Roman Reigns. Don’t get me wrong I do like Roman but he shouldn’t be in the main event at WM 32.

The three-way for the Divas championship is going to be a great wrestling match! I wouldn’t be shocked if this match steals the show! We all know all three of these women can wrestle and if WWE lets them put on a great 20 minute match I’m sure the fans will love that! I’m hoping for good things to come out of this match! I hope I don’t get disappointed!

Now onto the WWE World Championship match between Roman Reigns vs Triple H. I don’t really see Triple H going over in this match. Too be honest the majority of the fans will be cheering on Triple H in this match. Even though he is the heel, it is WWE’s fault for shoving Roman down our throats. The fans don’t want to see this match and Vince thinks we do. So what ever! Lol

I don’t know what’s going to happen between Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker in a Hell in the Cell match. If Shane wins he gets control of RAW, if The Undertaker loses he can’t wrestle at WrestleMania anymore. Well for one thing I don’t want to see The Undertaker lose. I don’t think it would be right for Shane McMahon to beat The Undertaker. The Undertaker is WrestleMania. I know he has lost one match against Brock at WM and that should only be it. He shouldn’t have to lose to Shane. But I guess we will see what happens. If Shane does win control of RAW that could be good too I suppose. But I guess we will see what happens.

Those are the top matches, there are more matches but to be honest I just don’t really care to write about them. Chris Jericho vs AJ Styles will be good, but we have already seen it so many times already! Lol

Anyway that’s it for me, enjoy the PPV is you’re going to watch it! See you next time! Have a nice day!

OOOOOOOHHHHH, Fatal 4-Way!!! Don’t you dare be sour. Clap for your friendly neighborhood Sarge….and feel the POWWWEERRRRRR!!

It’s the Boot Camp, yes it is!

Actually, people….forget that whole “clap” thing. I’ve heard “the clap” can be some nasty shit. Always wear protection, guys! Seriously. The New Day with all their hip gyrations and talking about clap. That’s just sick to actually come out in front of a national television audience and glamourize venereal diseases like that. I thought WWE was rated PG. Someone ought to take those silly llama dicks off of New Day’s heads and slap some Trojans on those fuckers STAT!

Hahaha…oh, that was great. But, all joking aside, welcome to the WrestleMania 32 edition of Sarge’s Boot Camp! One more time!! Here we are to have a little fun talking about this year’s Showcase of the Immortals. Let’s skip the formalities and get this bitch rolling, shall we?

Now, long-time fans of the Boot Camp will know that every WrestleMania edition, I like to post my list of completely random thoughts and talking points known as “RandomMania”. Well, there have been rumblings within the team that this year may be our final run as the Fatal 4-Way. With that said, this year’s WrestleMania edition could very well be our last one. Sure, we’ve had some fun with the randomness in the past, but this time, I wanted to have a good solid game plan going into this big issue. What better subject matter to discuss than the matches themselves?

First off, we have the Kick-Off show, featuring the 3rd Annual Andre The Giant Battle Royal. Not to crap all over the legacy of Andre, but this Battle Royal is really just a way of throwing every mid-low card schlub who didn’t already have a match on the main card into a match that some people might even forget about or miss entirely (being on the pre-show and all). Honestly, not having the Andre the Giant Battle Royal as a match featured on the main WrestleMania card and dumping it to the Kick-Off show is kind of a slap in the face to Andre in the first place. However, that’s only my opinion. It’s sad to think that WWE uses this match as filler rather than as a fitting tribute as it was meant to be.

Coming up next, we have the WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match. Huge match! Huge opportunity for any of the participants. Any of them….except maybe a small few who have no business being anywhere near the fucking ring during the match. I’m talking about Zack Ryder, Sin Cara and Stardust. What the actual fuck were they thinking slapping three of the roster’s most lovable losers into the picture for a title shot at something none of them deserve. Stardust should be wasting everyone’s time in the Andre Battle Royal. Sin Cara should have turned heel and be feuding with Kalisto for the US title in a jealousy angle that started with the end of the Lucha Dragons tag team when Sin Cara turned on his more successful fellow luchador. Zack Ryder should have stayed hyped with that goofy bastard Mojo Rawley back in NXT and be watching Mania from the locker room. Is this possibly due to the amount of injured superstars who could have been more legitimate participants in this match? Things that make you go……bbbbllllaaarrrffffff!!!

Moving on….let’s talk a minute about AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho. This is one of the matches I am really looking forward to. I was a little leary of seeing AJ Styles in a WWE ring at first, but he is growing on me. The fact that Chris Jericho has been all up in AJ’s chili since the Royal Rumble has sort of kept Styles back, if you ask me. It’s just Jericho all the time. I will be glad to see this feud die, and hopefully it will happen this Sunday. When it does finally end, it only makes sense for AJ Styles to move on with the final victory over Y2J. Or, is it….Y2Jackass?? That kills me every time! I can’t believe nobody came up with it sooner. AJ Styles sounds like a little mop-topped Stone Cold right there. LOL

What’s next? Oh, right. The Uso’s vs. The Dudley Boyz. I say The Usos are going to take this simply because The Dudley Boyz seem to have become the latest victims of WWE’s lack of creativity. They have had Bubba Ray and D’von turn away from what they have been known for their entire careers (putting people through tables) and it honestly just makes them an average tag team. There is no more anticipation of if/when the tables will come out. Face it….The Dudleys are just “duds” now. The Usos are far more colorful and entertaining. The Dudleys kind of suck now, but it’s really not even their fault. At least they can say they are still better than The Ascension. I don’t recall Konnor and Viktor winning a match since maybe a couple months after their main roster debut.

If you ask me, the WWE United States Championship match between Kalisto and Ryback makes about as much sense as an airplane being wrecked by hitting a deer. I don’t see the reasoning behind it except to give Ryback something to do that night. He just sort of showed up and has been in Kalisto’s grill…basically acting as a bully. Kudos to WWE for promoting an anti-bullying campaign and then promoting one of their superstars who is being a bully. #WWELogic makes my damn head hurt sometimes!

Remember when I talked about the Andre the Giant Battle Royal being used a filler and a way to give people who had nothing better going on to have a match at WrestleMania? Well, here is another such case. The 5-on-5 Diva’s Match. This thing is a clusterfuck in every sense. All they did was take five of the cast members of Total Divas and team them against five other “heel” Divas. Here’s the funny part….they put Eva Marie as a member of the Total Divas team, which is essentially the “face” team in this match. Eva Marie is universally hated in NXT, and for good reason. She stinks on ice, people! Seriously. She has all the wrestling ability of a pair of Luke Harper’s dirty underwear. Got that visual now? You’re welcome. You might say you really didn’t need it, but admit it! You did! You totally DID!! Anyway, aside from maybe Natalya and Paige, this match will be a huge waste of time, but I know WWE is always looking out for the fans. This will be our cue to make a trip to the shitter and have some time to refill our beer and nachos….or whatever you might be stuffing down your face holes during the show. It won’t be a total waste of time as long as you use that time wisely. Fuck, for all I care, go and have a quickie in the bedroom! I won’t judge.

The No Holds Barred Street Fight between Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar is going to be a mess. I have to say I have liked the build-up for this match simply because Ambrose is ridiculous and a lot of fun to watch. I know a lot of you don’t share that opinion, but hey….whatever. This match will be ugly, no doubt. I am sure Ambrose will make it fun in the process as he carries Lesnar’s lumbering carcass around the arena. I mean, as much fun as a No Holds Barred Street Fight is going to be, anyway.

Next up, we have The New Day vs. League of Nations in a 4 on 3 handicap tag match. Everyone is saying The New Day is at a disadvantage for once because they are in the unique situation of being outnumbered. Sure, I can believe that. What I don’t believe in is that The League of “Booty” still has any chance of winning. The New Day have proven themselves to be very resourceful and sneaky…even willing to cheat when necessary to get the win. I hope they do, and not just because I chose them in my predictions. The League of Nations is just so dull, I am praying for the day this faction goes the way of the Dodo and we never EEEEEEEEEEVERRRRR see or hear from it…… A-GAIN!!

Let’s just get the WWE World Heavyweight Championship talk over with so we can get it out of our mouths for good. If you ask me, Triple H becoming the World Champion at the Royal Rumble was probably the best thing to come out of this feud. He is the lesser of two evils seeing how Roman Reigns is so widely disliked by the WWE fans and the IWC sheep. I really don’t hate Roman, but I also do not want to see him as champion. This is a long shot, but with Dean Ambrose having crossed paths with Triple H at WWE Roadblock, and Reigns currently facing off against The Authority….what would happen if say, Seth Rollins makes his return during the World title match after Ambrose runs down to interfere. However, Rollins then turns on The Authority and The Shield reunites to powerbomb Triple H through the announce table and effectively put The Authority off TV for a long time. This would also help to tie into another scenario if Shane McMahon gains control of Monday Night RAW, it would give The Authority that “excuse” they’d need for an extended leave of absence from WWE programming.

Another match I am actually looking forward to seeing is the WWE Diva’s Championship Triple Threat Match. I think the main reason why I am so eager to see this match is because there is a good chance that a new champion will be crowned. I am getting a little tired of Ric Flair involving himself in Charlotte’s matches. It cheapens her status as a legitimate champion, but I guess that’s part of the point. I think it’s just a way to allow Naitch to be at ringside to ogle and grope Charlotte’s opponents under the guise of “interference”. No disrespect to the two-time Hall of Famer, but it’s just getting creepy now. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what happens in the Women’s division after WrestleMania. I have heard the entire division is being revamped and the term “Diva” is no longer going to be used. Also, I have seen an article that states the fruity butterfly title belt is going away. About fucking time!! There is a lot at stake in this Triple Threat match, and with these proposed changes coming soon, there is a lot to look forward to in the Women’s division in the coming weeks

What can be said that hasn’t already been said about Shane McMahon and The Undertaker? This has to be the biggest match of the night. It’s even bigger than the World Heavyweight Championship match is the sheer magnitude of what hangs in the balance. If The Undertaker wins, Shane is gone for good. If Shane wins, he gains complete control over Monday Night RAW and The Undertaker is finished. As much as it makes sense for Taker to murder Shane inside that cell, I hope that’s not the case. The ramifications of a Shane McMahon victory far outweigh the results of any other outcome. Shane promises the dawn of a new WWE if he gains control. This is the kind of change that the company is in extremely dire need of. That said, WWE logic would dictate Shane loses at Mania, and the same shit will continue as normal. Shane losing this Sunday will be deeply disappointing for me personally because I am hoping to see this change that he has described in the past month. Shane loses, then all that big talk was nothing more than, well….talk. We get nothing out of this except maybe a match that is really hard to watch in some cases. The promise of brutality in this match is astronomical. We got a taste of that on RAW last Monday night when Shane performed his trademark “Leap of Faith” from the ring post to the announcer’s table. Fans new and old ate that shit up like it was the best thing they’d seen in nearly a decade, and….they were probably right. Unfortunately for Shane, the cell will be between him and the announcer’s table in his match against The Undertaker. The only way he can do his flying elbow drop onto The Deadman at WrestleMania is if he pulls a Mick Foley and jumps off the top of the cell itself. This isn’t the Attitude Era, and I doubt WWE will allow anyone to put themselves in harm’s way to that extent these days. Who knows? I guess we will have to wait and see how this all goes down.

The Skirt Sheet

Welcome to the WrestleMania edition of The Skirt Sheet. All things WrestleMania, mixed in with some bitching. I aim to please, lol. So Imma gonna shut it and get to bidness.

So Fastlane back in February was a predictable joke. What transpired since then shows that the direction the WWE is going is, well all over the bloody place. Nobdy knows where to go or what they’re doing. If the WWE higher-ups would just listen to their talent and their fans, thigns might look better than this current WrestleMania 32 card.

First Mistake: Not following through on a storyline that they started between Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar. They started it, but just sort of put it on the back burner. Both guys are apparently very unhappy with this, and were open about it. If Brock Lesnar was put into the title picture at WrestleMania to help with the lack of top teer talent who are all out on injuries, then it would be a different story, but he’s not. He’s in a program with the lunatic fringe, Dean Ambrose. WWE should finsih what they started, and that was suppose to be Wyatt vs. Lesnar. The Wyatt’s aren’t even really involved in WrestleMania, so they will likely involve themselves in the match between Lesnar and Ambrose, either during or after.

Second Mistake: Putting a guy the fans clearly hate in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match and shoving him, ala John Cena, down our throats. Despite being a babyface, the fans have been crapping all over Roman Reigns since the first time he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It’s been so bad they had to take him off of television for a while, and create fake injury and surgery in hopes the fans would find sympathy with Reigns. It didn’t work. The heat is still on Reigns, and Triple H who is suppose to be the heel is getting all the cheers no matter what he does. The more the WWE tries to get the fans behind Reigns, the more they hate him. He may look like a champion, may even have the work ethic, but he cannot talk worth shit and what does come out of his mouth is so cocky and fake sounding, that he’s lost majority of his supporters. What the fans clearly wanted was for Dean Ambrose to be against Triple H at WrestleMania 32. They aren’t getting what they want and have been begging for. They want Ambrose as champion.

Dean Ambrose continues to have great matches, including the one teaser/taste of Ambrose vs. Triple H at Roadblock in Toronto, and he’s hot with the crowds. It’s been awhile since the fans have found someone to really get behind. I mean truly get behind. I’m not talking the brainwashing the WWE had to do with Cena, by catering to all children, horny teenage females, and the young homosexuals, but this time the true, hardcore and faithful, long-time fans have found someone they want. That they want to see succeed since CM Punk. Ambrose is serious, yet exhudes a dry sense of humour that mature fans love, and has mad mic skills, in-ring ability, and charisma.

I get the WWE is scrambling to fill holes that have been left from the injured superstars, and that list is rather extensive; Seth Rollins, John “Barf” Cena, Randy Orton, Neville, Sting, Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, and Daniel Bryan, and even Nikki Bella. Daniel Bryan’s officially retired from wrestling due to all his injuries. It’s sad because he was such a solid worker, and truly loved this business. He was an amazing draw and had a lot a head of him. His career was definitley amazing but full of hardships. Must suck to get to the top and then have to let go of everything because you’re plagued by injuries. I feel for him and will miss him. Tyson Kidd might be in a smiliar situation after suffering a major neck injury. He’s such a talented in-ring performer who still has much to add to his accomplishments. As a huge fan of Tyson’s, I don’t want his career to end now. I want to see him soar and reach great heights. Neville is the recent addition to the list of injured superstars after suffering a broken ankle in his match against Chris Jericho a few weeks back. Jericho apparently got pissed off at referee Charles “lil’ Naitch” Robinson for not stopping the match. Either way, Neville’s WrestleMania is ruined, as I’m sure he was scheduled to be a part of the ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship.

Side Note: On RAW Last Week, before it was even announced….

I called it! Just saying!

For the record, it’s not cocky if I can back it up. Lol!

A major question is, how will the WWE manage to fill up a 4-hour show? With the lack of talent right now, they’re scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Why would they even attempt the Andre The Giant Battle Royal? And why put it on the pre-show? They can’t possibly have enough superstar power to fill that one match. So far they have yet to really show that they do have the talent. So far it’s past winner Big Show, Kane, The Social Outcast, Tyler Breeze, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Fandango (where the fuck has he been lately??), Damine Sandow (see Fandango side note), Darren Young (Fandango note), Konnor, Viktor, Goldust, and R-Truth. Aside from Tyler Breeze, who should have been in the ladder match and Zack Ryder in this shit-hole of a match, the line-up sucks. I think I just answered my own question as to why this is on the pre-show. Because no one watches the fucking pre-show. Breeze in the battle royal and Ryder in the ladder match? That’s horrible, then again the WWE isn’t exactly known for their excellent booking strategy.

If there ever was an ample opportunity to showcase the NXT talent, it’s at WrestleMania. At Roadblock, they had the NXT tag team champions The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) vs. Big Cass & Enzo Amore, and they put on a wonderful match. It was one of the better matches at Roadblock.

If stars from NXT are used at WrestleMania, it will all depend on what happens at NXT Take Over Dallas two nights before Mania. They would likely be used in the Battle Royal as fillers. I guess we will find out.

Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar will be in a “No Holds Barred” “Street Fight”. Why all the quoation marks you ask, well… For starters, isn’t a “street fight” already “no holds barred”? And, isn’t a “street fight” suppose to take place in the street and not start in the ring? Lets face it, it’s been a very long time since a WWE “street fight” has started anywhere but in the ring and stayed mostly in the ring. Not very street like is it? O it’s not technically a street fight. Remember that strange, yet epic street fight between Goldust and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper at WrestleMania 12? That wasn’t even billed as a street fight, I think they called it a Hollywood Backlot brawl, or something. Either way, it took place mostly outside of the ring, and even included a tacky OJ Simpson-like car chase. Yes it eventually ended up in the ring, but it started in the “streets”. I would love to see something like that happen, minus Lesnar in women’s underwear. Yuck! I think I just puked in my mouth. No matter what, it should be a solid match. Afterall, legend Mick Foley gave Ambrose “Barbie” and Terry Funk gave him a chainsaw. I’m actually looking forward to this one.

I’m also looking forward to the WWE Diva’s Championship triple threat match between champion, Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. These ladies have some serious in-ring talent. It’s nice to see them get a chance to showcase it. I would love to see Becky Lynch take the title. She never had the chance to be NXT Women’s Champion, so this would be a sweet way for her to become champion. I’m just not sure we will see a title change here. Also, wouldn’t now be a great time to retire the stupid Diva’s championship and bring back and restore the damage legacy to the former Women’s Championship belt? Thank-you Michelle McCool, Layla and Candice Michelle for ruining a belt that great women once held. Fucking twat waffles!

**Addition: According to the wrestling dirt sheets, there is a major rumour going around that this Monday after WrestleMania, there will no longer be a Diva’s Championship title belt but a brand new Women’s Championship title belt that is apparently similiar in design to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt but smaller and on a white strap. May I just say, Thank-God!

I tweeted the WWE that I would pay them if they did NOT book Kalisto vs. Ryback for WrestleMania 32. Needless to say, I don’t have to pay them. I’ve got nothing against Kalisto, but I don’t see Ryback as a good wrestler. He’s good at injuring people because he’s fucking sloppy. I wouldn’t be surpried if he was the one behind half the injuries on the list above of injured superstars.

They apparently booked a 5-on-5 diva’s match to allow the other diva’s to get paid. If a match gets bumped, it’ll likely be this one, and I’m ok with that. This one is complete shit! SHIT I say!! Summer Rae, Lana, Emma, Tamina, and Naomi against, Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, Natalya, Paige, and Eva Marie. They ran out of diva’s on the main roster that they had to bring up Eva Marie from the NXT roster. A self-proclaimed female wrestler with the ability of a spatcula and the fans hate her. Not that the talent in this match is any better. Aside from Natalya, Paige, Emma and Naomi, the rest can’t really wrestle. Tamina, isn’t horrible but she’s nothing but power moves, and lack of skill and corridination. You watch her, after she slams someone, she generally just stands over them like waiting for something to come to her to do next. Lana has never even had a match before. Her last feud was with Summer Rae and now they’re like all buddy-buddy? Alicia Fox is sloppy. Not Ryback sloppy but pretty damn sloppy. The worst part is I want to like her but I can’t. Brie Bella. What can I say about Brie Bella? As a person outside of the ring, I really like her. I like that she’s down to earth and environmentally cautious and such. In the ring, she’s fucking horrible. She knows 5-moves! 2 are her hubby’s movies, the yes lock and the kicks, then she has the drop kick which she can do from standing and the top rope (bravo, that still counts as one fucking move), the Bella Buster, and a clothes-line (every woman should know how to use a clothes-line, sorry not a femminist here). So yes this will suck. We will just lable this Vince’s Boner match for all you fellas. For me it’s go pee match number two. Right behind Ryback vs. Kalisto.

For go pee match number three it’s the Dudley’s vs. The Uso’s. I’ll be letting out some alcohol during these three matches.

Since I’ve already talked about Triple H vs. Roman Reigns and how this will likely end in a way that people are pissed right off, I’ll go to the more important match, which I would like to call the “What were they thinking?” Match.

Hell In A Cell! Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker. If Shane O’ Mac wins, he gets control of RAW, and if Undertaker loses, this will be his LAST WrestleMania. Which could very well be his retirement match. Shall we start from the beginning? I’m a huge Undertaker fan. I’ve never wanted him to lose at WM. Pretty sure I’ve made that quite clear in the past. I’m also a fan of Shane O’Mac’s. I marked out huge over his return. I was so excited that it took me a few days to really digest what the fuck just happened. The Undertaker can’t and shouldn’t lose to Shane McMahon, yet, the WWE needs Shane badly for television. So now what? Undertaker deserves a better retirement match and should be against someone who truly deserves this honour. Triple H comes to mind. You can’t have a count-out or a disqualification in a Hell In A Cell match. You have to have a clear winner. But who? Admittingly, this isn’t an easy match to predict, however, judging from some of the rumours circulating, the WWE is preparing a brand-split. Again. RAW vs. SmackDown. This suggests that Shane McMahon is walking out the winner. My buddy thinks it’ll be Shane going over and Undertaker “retiring” but then Shane re-hires him. Darren doesn’t think that the Undertaker will go out with little to know fan-fare and the match he deserves. Although I agree that Undertaker deserves a better retirement match, with all the bells and whistles, I could see the man behind the Undertaker being the type to prefer to retire quietly. I guess all we can do is wait and find out. I’ll have tissue ready just in case. Lol! I have these ones that have a cool touch. It’s awesome. I’m looking forward to this match, I just wish it was a bit different for both men. I do like the fact that it’s not all that predictable.

Should be an interesting event. As always I’ll be throwing a small party. I just hope it doesn’t completely suck. My prediction for RAW the night after is that we will likely see Bayle, and Samoa Joe OR Finn Balor on the main roster. Guess that depends on what happens at NXT Take Over.

As always, enjoy the event, whether you’re at home or in Dallas at WrestleMania, either way have fun and stay safe. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

In Memory of

Brian “Axel Rotten” Knighton

April 21, 1971 to February 4, 2016

000 F4W 2016 Banner

Welcome back to this months Fatal 4-Way. This will be it until WrestleMania weekend, April 3, 2016. We get a nice break come March, but it doesn’t mean that we stop watching the product. Horrible as it may be. Nope we keep continuing. Lets hope it doesn’t start with an “In Memory Of…”. However, don’t hold your breath. Grandfather and legendary wrestler, Robert “Blackjack Mulligan” Windham, age 74, has recently been hospitalized and apparently was close to death. So lets hope the man pulls through. In case you’re wondering who his grandchildren are, they are WWE Superstars Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas. I guess we just have to BO-lieve. OMG I can’t believe I went there.

Speaking of this months, “In Memory Of”, some of you might not know Axl Rotten, unless you are hardcore fans of ECW before it became the WWE verison. Rotten was part of the Bad Breed in ECW, and then moved back to the independent circuit where his career had begun. He was only briefly featured at one WWE ECW-event in 2005 at One Night Only. After that he had one appearance in 2010 in TNA. His career never trult made it off the ground. He apparently had his fair share of struggles. He spent a lot of time in a wheel chair, after his career ended with a severe spinal injury. He was found by police in a McDonald’s parking lot. I could make a joke about the food being the death of him, but that would be uncouth. Although I sort of just did. To all the Axl Rotten fans, friends and especially family, our deepest sympathies.

Axl-Rotten-inmemory

With that said, we move on…

Hey everyone and welcome to another edition of the Fatal 4-Way. How is everyone doing these days? I’m been pretty good thanks! I have been busy with my new job at Ting. I work with a lot of great people! I really do enjoy my job! Just to let you know they are hiring in the St. Catharines Area if interested! Anyway let’s get down to some wrestling business!

Well it is official, Daniel Bryan is retiring from professional wrestling. This isn’t a joke either. He can’t wrestle anymore. It isn’t good for him. He doesn’t want to risk his life. I don’t blame him either. I don’t want to see that either! I have so much respect for the guy and he has done so much for the business. Sure I will miss him but I’m sure whatever he does now he will be happy! Also his wife Brie will be retiring in the summer once her contract ends with the company. That’s a blessing too! Lol I think Diva is very happy with that news as well!

So the Royal Rumble PPV wasn’t too bad. The match it self was good but predictable. Triple H ended up coming out at the end at number 30 and he ended up winning the Royal Rumble Match to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Another surprise that happened in the Royal Rumble match was the debut of AJ Styles!! Yes he is back in the WWE! He made his appearance and stayed in there for about 25 mins. That was pretty cool to see! I’m glad he is here in the WWE. I just hope they know how to use him right!

This Sunday is the WWE Fastlane PPV. The main event is a triple threat match between Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose. The winner of that match will face Triple H at WrestleMania 32. I’m picking Dean Ambrose. I really would like to see him face Triple H in the main event! I think he deserves it! He is so over with fans right now, it would be the best thing to do for business. Well that’s what I think anyway! I will see if Vince McMahon feels the same way! Lol

Some sad news to report, Bret Hart announced that he has prostate cancer. I feel so bad for The Hitman. He has gone through so much in his life and now he has to battle cancer. I know he will beat it. He has beaten everything else that has come up against him! I am rooting for him and everyone else who loves Bret Hart are rooting him too! Go Bret Go! His surgery was last week and everything went well for him! Now he is on the mend and he will defeat cancer!

CM Punk is injured and he won’t be able to start his UFC fight until later this year. I think I’m hearing it will happen probably late summer. Could you imagine if it was the same weekend as Summer Slam? Haha I wonder if wrestling fans would watch it? I’m curious to see how does. It should be fun! I don’t care if he wins or loses I just want to see if he can do it!

WWE network are releasing some new TV shows. One show I want to check out is the new Edge and Christian show! Omg it looks so stupid but funny stupid! I can’t wait to see that one!

I’m not sure how the WM 32 card is going to shape up to be. I heard rumours of who is going to face The Undertaker but now I’m not sure if that’s going to happen. I guess we will have to wait and see. They better come up with something good for The Undertaker because he is what makes WM special.

Anyway that’s it for me for this month! I hope you enjoy WWE Fastlane if you decide to watch it! Have a nice day!

bootcamp

***The views and opinions expressed in “Boot Camp” are strictly my own and do not in any way reflect those of WWE, TNA, the whiny fanboys of the IWC, or any other group that I might inadvertently piss off! But….If you’re gonna get all emo over it, then run home to your mommy, curl up in the fetal position and cry salty tears into your fucking Ovaltine!!***

**THIS ARTICLE IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY**

BOOT CAMP

What’s good, Guardians??

So, how did you all like the Royal Rumble? Yeah….that’s what I thought. There was good and bad to it. Lots of people are pissed about Triple H coming back to win the World Heavyweight title. Lots of people….but not me, because I picked him in my predictions as a total spit ball, long shot “pulled it out of my ass” kind of thing……and I ended up calling it DEAD ON! I can’t predict a singles match to save my life, but I called the 30-Man Rumble winner for the first time in forever (sorry if anyone suddenly had ‘Frozen’ flashbacks)….and probably the only time in my life that I will get that one right ever…….EEEEEEEEEEEEVER…..a-gain!

#Jericoholic

I really liked where this new angle with the Wyatt Family was going. Taking out all the “titans” in WWE and becoming the new “Gods”. I have always wanted the Wyatts to become the dominant stable, and since the Rumble, it looked like things were on the way to changing in their favor. They had taken down everyone from Undertaker and Kane to Big Show and Ryback. The list of victims was undeniably impressive. But….that #WWELogic had to catch up with them, and that all fell apart for the Wyatts after two of their past conquests suddenly came back like nothing ever happened. The Wyatt Family needs to become the Plecostomus of the WWE. You know…one of those ugly ass sucker fish that cling to the side of tank, gobbling up all the nastiness that would otherwise cause the tank to resemble a toilet at Taco Bell.

plco3

The Wyatt Family should be the ones who run through the roster and methodically cleanse WWE of all the dead weight and bullshit that is currently dragging the product down. Whether or not this causes the Wyatts to appear as faces, heels or even anti-heroes….I’d call it a win-win for all of us in the grand scheme.

==============================

How’s everyone feeling about AJ Styles since the Rumble? I’d say he’s doing rather well even though he already has faced his first loss in a rematch against Chris Jericho. All things considered though, the fans seem to be supporting him 100%. The internet blew up the second he walked out onto the stage at the Royal Rumble. There wasn’t a dry seat in the house! However….he still has a lot to prove in WWE, especially since they choose to absolutely forget about anything Styles has done before signing with WWE. They see him as a rookie with some past experience under his belt….but won’t acknowledge all the past titles he has held in other companies and promotions. WWE likes to do that. They prefer to believe that they are the “be all, end all” in the business of sports entertainment.

They like to believe that….but if they do, I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news!

===================================

Speaking of “bad news”, Wade Barrett has announced he is leaving WWE in the near future. He chose not to re-sign with the company. Can you really blame him? He wins King of the Ring, and they do fuck-all with him after that. No title opportunities, no high profile feuds, no big push. No turkey! No turkey sandwiches! No turkey salad! No turkey gravy! Turkey Hash! Turkey a la King! Or gallons of turkey soup! Gone, ALL GONE!

(Hold on a minute. I may have seen ‘A Christmas Story’ a few too many times). Anyway, you get my drift here. Then, Barrett gets lumped into the International Job Squad known as The League of Nations. How the mighty have fallen in that gaggle of has-beens, eh?? King Barrett….enough said. Rusev? A guy who was an undefeated monster until Cena buried him. Del Rio? Dumped Zeb Colter and lost the US title twice this year so far to the same guy! Sheamus? He was WWE World Heavyweight Champion a few months ago, but Roman Reigns happened. He never quite bounced back after that. Push….canceled indefinitely! Really puts the “shame” in Sheamus, doesn’t it, folks?

The League of Nations was on a roll for about a week or two, but then things just declined for no real reason. Del Rio dropped the US title to Kalisto and the League lost a shit load of momentum and relevancy after that. Barrett is simply abandoning the sinking ship before it gets any worse.

I wonder where he’ll end up after he leaves WWE.

===================================

As much as I would like to see Seth Rollins come back during WrestleMania and help Roman Reigns defeat Triple H for the WWE Championship…and then join back with Ambrose to reform The Shield to some capacity, I highly doubt that will happen. The writers don’t have that kind of foresight. They’ll probably have Lesnar become the #1 contender and then scramble to build up a match against Triple H when they already have Reigns who has plenty of heat with Hunter. It practically writes itself! Have Reigns get the #1 contender spot, maybe even by pinning Ambrose in the Triple Threat. Let Ambrose and Lesnar have their feud and a big match at WrestleMania. But….then have Ambrose come out and interfere on behalf of The Authority. Ambrose can then take over the “Seth Rollins” role in The Authority, and Reigns will have to feud with his own best friend as well as Triple H. If Rollins comes back by that time, they could have him either rejoin with Triple H and team with Ambrose as enforcers for The Authority…..or have Rollins re-packaged as a face and team him up with Reigns against his former bosses in The Authority. It can go a lot of ways. Chances are, something not so interesting will come out of all this and not a single fuck will be given once it’s all said and done.

=================================

I apologize for not going into detail on Daniel Bryan’s medical retirement from WWE as I am sure the topic has been discussed ad nauseum across the internet (and even within this blog by other writers), so I chose not to reiterate anything about the unfortunate turn of events or Bryan’s untimely departure from the company. I have seen people on the internet speculating on if he will go to TNA or ROH or NJPW or some other wrestling organization, and I have to question them. Didn’t Daniel Bryan have to retire from wrestling in general because of his condition, or did he just have to leave WWE? If he can’t be cleared to compete in WWE, how would be able to compete anywhere else is his health doesn’t allow it? Those remarks must have been made by the same “Stage 5 Clingers” who still insist that CM Punk is coming back to WWE soon. The IWC is always good for a chuckle, if not a disgusted eye roll now and then.

================================

Some might even say that about my Boot Camp articles, and to those people, I present a heartfelt “Fuck You!”. To the rest of you….the faithful and loyal troops I hold dear, I offer you the invitation to join me back here when the Boot Camp is open for business once again. Our next issue will be the WrestleMania edition, so you know it going to be one of those “must see” events of the year. You don’t want to miss it, so get here early and make sure you get a good seat!

Until then, troops……YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

Had enough yet? You got something to say to me? E-mail me at darkside619@hotmail.com and get it off your flabby little chest! Your feedback is both welcomed and encouraged, and your responses will be highlighted in my next Boot Camp article. Your orders are clear, troops……it’s time to stand up and sound off!! I’ll make you famous! >:)

Until next time, this is The Sarge…..reminding you: If you tickle me, I am not responsible for your injuries!

The Skirt Sheet

If the last month have taught us anything, it’s to never totally discount the rumours in professional wrestling. Some of us are smart enough to know which ones are false and which ones are not. I guess those rumours could be deemed as leaks seeing as they have been coming true as of late. I, personally, miss the days where there was no Internet and things actually were a surprise. Why do we always have to have shit spoiled for us? With that, I’ll shut it and get to bidness.

Despite the overwhelming rumours about Triple H winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble coming true, this is putting some of us to sleep. Is it best for business? Actually it is. Roman Reigns, was not a good champion during his short duration. I’m not taking anything away from him as a wrestler, because I think he can definitley roll with the big guys. However, despite being The Rock’s cousin, he’s lacking the mic skills of the Great One. It makes sense putting the title on Triple H going into WrestleMania. There really are not many suitable opponents for Reigns to be able to hold a main event match with. People don’t get that it’s totally different as champion and challenger. They want to see a worthy main event champion defend against a strong opponent. Triple H is more than a worthy main event champion, and could probably defend that title against pretty much anybody, including Reigns, and it would be a good solid match. However, Reigns lacks the experience and fan reaction to be able to carry that championship into the main event against say, pretty much anyone. Triple H is a leader, and a tremendous in-ring worker, but he doesn’t need that title. The WWE needs him to have that title. Lets face it, since Seth Rollins got injured, nobody has managed to successfully make the fans happy or respect them while wearing that championship. What was the WWE to do? I’m not complaining, but personally there were some other possible directions the WWE could have taken to swerve us all and make new stars out of. Triple H, was the easiest and safest decision to go with. WWE always plays it safe. That’s why John Cena is on the verge of breaking Ric Flair’s record, despite not actually deserving to. They could have easily gone with Brock Lesnar. They had the option to start fresh with AJ Styles, or Dean Ambrose. I would have done something risky; Chris Jericho, Styles, Ambrose, Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt. Someone who has the fans, whether they’re heel or face. If you had to take a risk and put a champion in who wasn’t Triple H, what would you have done?

The RAW following the Royal Rumble had some solid matches. Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler, Jericho vs. Styles, etc. The whold premis was for them to be impressed and then later on pick the three most impressive stars to head into Fastlane, and vie for the number one contendership for the WWE Championship. Whoever wins that match goes on to main event WrestleMania 32 against the champion, Triple H. As it turns out, it’ll be Dean Ambrose, vs. Roman Reigns, vs. Brock Lesnar. See you there Roman Reigns vs. Triple H. Gotta love the predictability of the WWE. Although after dropping his WWE Intercontinetal Championship to Kevin Owens this past week on RAW, there is now that slight possibility of Ambrose going over and heading to Mania. He seems to have the fans behind him more so than Roman Reigns. I’m hoping that’s the case.

I would have said a month ago, that it looks like they’re going to go with a triple threat match for the Diva’s championship this month, but they’re not. Instead, they have Charlotte vs. Brie Bella. I’m sorry Charlotte, but that match is going to stink up the card. For someone, who has yet to have a bad match, being saddled with the Bella twat who has the least amount of talent, is going to be difficult to carry. Then we have Becky Lynch teaming up with Sasha Banks to take on Banks’ former Team B.A.D members, Naomi and Tamina. This has disaster written all over it. They’ll likely come out on top but it will probably be who got the win, and then start out as a brawl between Lynch and Banks. I’m still thinking it’ll be a great WrestleMania for the three former NXT women. I sense a Triple Threat match between Charlotte, Lynch and Banks at the show of shows. And what a freaking awesome match that will be.

The tag team division is a fucking joke right now. I cannot support the New Day and their gimmick. It’s gross and disturbing. We have seen every viable championship match combo at least a half a dozen times. Like honestly, how many times do we ahvae to sit through the Uso’s vs. New Day? I like the Uso’s, but the WWE needs more tag teams. They royally fucked up The Ascension. They never should have allowed them to talk. That killed them. They were dead in the water before even getting in with the rest of the sharks. Sin Cara is back, but Kalisto is having a successful singles run. I will be surprised if The Lucha Dragons stay together for much longer. They’ll end up feuding soon enough. Again, what happened to the Prime Time Players? They’re together, then not together, and then together and now not together. With no explanation. Titus O’Neil was getting a push as a singles competitor and then he done and fucked up by touching Mr. Vince McMahon, during the good-bye to Daniel Bryan (more on that later). I think it was a bit much that he was suspended for that, but then again, the boss is apparently trying to reel in his talent to make them better behave and Titus was the unforunate first example of this new thing McMahon has taken on. Maybe O’Neil had a reason for it, it wasn’t aggessive from the footage I saw. Don’t even get me started on the Dudley Boyz. They’re not worth my breath. The tag team divsion seems like it will never be as strong as it was in the 1998-2002 era. There just simply isn’t enough talent to hold people’s interest. Kinda sad really.

The Social Outcasts, are the Job Squad 2.0.. Heath Slater, Bo Dallas, Adam Rose and Curtis Axel are jobbers. Were jobbers, and will probably always be jobbers. They could easily add Zack Ryder to that group. King of the Jobbers! Sadly, they are getting more air time than they were previously. And are definitely receiving more air time then The League Of Nations. Wade Barrett deserves so much better. I blame John Cena for that! Yes, I blame Cena. Cena is the WWE’s golden boy, and he doesn’t like Barrett. Feeling is mutual. Barrett doesn’t like him either, and hasn’t hid the fact. It is my theory as to why Barrett keeps getting held down. It’s so frustrating.

As I had mentioned in brief earlier that Daniel Bryan is no longer a WWE Superstar. I doubt he’ll be gone permantely, but sadly his in-ring days are over. Injury plagued, took another amazing talent out of the ring and benched him. Unlike Edge’s good-bye, this one I was expecting. It’s no secret that Bryan’s injuries and their severities, was keeping him away from the ring. Maybe there was that glimmer of hope amongst us fans that we would see him capture at least one more championship. Sadly that won’t happen. I do hope that the WWE uses him and his amazing knowlege to their advantage. I would love to see him take a spot on one of the commentary teams. Maybe Lawler will retire and Bryan can take his place? Yeah? Also, rumour has it that this Sunday will be his wife, Brie Bella’s final match. We can only hope. I doubt any of us will shed a tear. I’m guessing the Bella’s will stay prominently featured on Total Diva’s. It’s no secret that Brie and Bryan want to start a family. Or as Charlotte said on RAW, “goat-faced vegan babies”. Best line ever!

Eva Marie needs to be fired! I cannot stand her. I cannot stand her face, or that stupid ass robe she wears to the ring. Her entrance is boring, her in-ring work is messy. I think she needs to be kicked in the face by a giant horse. If she ever gets her hands on any title within NXT or WWE, I’ll throw a fit. It’ll make me freaking out over Undertaker’s loss to Lesnar two years ago at WrestleMania look like sneeze. She can take Mojo Rawley with her. God that guy creeps me out. It’s dude, you’re fucking 40 (or whatever), act your fucking age. I’ll hype my foot right up scrotum.

Time flies, a year ago my daughter was born, and just last week, she turned a year old. OMG, I have no clue where that year went. Happy Birthday River! (Her first birthday party is this weekend).

In Memory Of

Iron” Michael Sharpe

October 28, 1951-January 17, 2016

000 F4W 2016 Banner

Always such a somber note to start on, especially for the first blog of the new year. Sadly, it isn’t the first time we started out the year with the passing of a wrestler. This Januayr the deaths have been bountiful. Pretty much musicians and actors. David Bowie, Lemmy from Motorhead, Glenn Frey from The Eagles, the list goes on. Bowie and Lemmy were definite shocks for me. Didn’t see that coming. For wrestling we say good-bye to a Hamilton legend, “Iron” Mike Sharpe. We send our sincerist sympathies to his family, friends, and fans.

Last month we said that my fiance, Mat, would be joining us, but as it turns out, he’s way too busy. Between work, commissioned art projects, and the baby, he just can’t find the time. I might be able to get him to write every once in a while. Who knows?! However, we welcome any of you readers to express your wrestling opinions in the open slot whenever you have something to say. No matter what. It could be simply to disagree with something one of us has said the month before. Feel free to send in your blogs (1 to 2 pages) to rkodiva80@gmail.com. Blogs are due the Friday before a WWE Pay-per-view.

Fotor20150515

Hey everyone, welcome to 2016 1st Edition of the Fatal 4-Way of the new year! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Holiday! I know I did. It was great to see family and friends during that time of the year! Actually it is always great see them anytime during the year! Haha I also want to say thank you to my friend Susan for having me over on Christmas Day! It was very nice of her to do that! Anyway this is a wrestling blog so I guess we shall get started?

I’m really worried about the state of WWE. Right now they have so many wrestlers who are injured. Their top guy John Cena is out for at least 6 months. Randy Orton is still out with an injury, plus Ceasero, Daniel Bryan, and a few others. I don’t know what they are going to do. The only two guys who are really over right now with the fans are Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Oh wait The Undertaker too. But that’s it. I mean there are guys like Alberto Del Rio, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens, Dolf Ziggler, and Bray Wyatt who are over as well but they haven’t really been made that great because of the lack of booking on WWE’s end. It isn’t the wrestlers fault, they are just doing what they are told to do and most of the time it just sucks. I haven’t sat down and watched a full episode of RAW in such a very long time! I really have had no desire to. It is a shame because I really do like wrestling and it has been my life and now I just don’t really care that much. Nothing really excites me anymore when I watch the show. That is really sad! I don’t know if anything will change but I’m worried about how WWE will be this year. They really need a big change and until that happens we will probably suffer.

So this is a major Spoiler Alert so if you don’t want to know who is going to debut soon on WWE TV(probably at Royal Rumble) or RAW please skip this paragraph. Otherwise continue reading. It has been confirmed by pwinsider.com by Mike Johnson that AJ Styles will be making his debut on WWE TV. If you don’t know who he is, he is probably one of the best workers out there who hasn’t been signed by WWE. He has been on TNA for many years and left them a few years ago because he wasn’t going to get the money he wanted. So he has been part of Ring of Honor, and New Japan Pro Wrestling too. He is part of this group called The Bullet Club. They are kinda like a n W o group but with a modern twist to it. Now there are more guys who are part of this group and may end up joining up with Styles once he makes his debut. Could this be start of a new Invasion Angle? Who knows for sure but it could actually make some exciting TV…wait didn’t I just say I was worried about WWE in the paragraph before?! Yeah I’m still worried that WWE might screw this up. Sigh end of spoiler now.

You can read this now. No more spoiler. I watched Steve Austin’s Podcast the other night and I thought it was pretty cool. He had Ric Flair as his guest and they really talked about a lot of stuff. Ric Flair is an all time great and I had the pleasure of meeting him a few years ago with Diva at Comic Con. I’m hoping to meet Shawn Michaels this year. I also wouldn’t mind talking to Jake The Snake Roberts again too. Anyway back to Flair and Austin. They really seem to have a great time together talking about Flair’s life and his kids. You can tell Flair is so proud of his daughter and he should be! She has done some great things since getting into the wrestling business. It is too bad his son passed away so soon. I think he would of been in WWE too if he was still alive. I hope I can watch more of Steve Austin Podcasts because he really has some great guests on it.

That’s it for me this month! I hope you guys enjoy the PPV this Sunday and Have a nice day! 🙂

If you want to get a hold of me by twitter @blitz101 or e-mail gl.club17@gmail.com I love to hear from you!

The Skirt Sheet

Hey there fellow readers! What a crazy month this has been. So many celebrity deaths. The wrestling world lost “Iron” Mike Sharpe last weekend. A proud Canadian from my current city of Hamilton, Ontario. So much sadness which puts the added pressure to be funny, so I guess it’s time to shut it and get to bidness…

I’m hoping everyone had a wonderful holiday season. We did in my family. Celebrating Christmas with a 10-month old was a blast. River’s first Christmas was extroidinary. She was spoiled by everyone. So it was an amazing time. My best Christmas by far.

How about those Slammy Awards?! This year it almost seemed as if the fans votes actually counted. Maybe. Evidence #1: John Cena didn’t win any of the fan voted catagories. However, the WWE created an award just for him. One based around charity work. Well, when this category came up, I knew Cena had one it before they even read the nominees. Contratulations WWE, you have sunk to a new low. Creating an award just for John Cena. Why even bother to have anyone else qualify for this award? Evidence #2: Kalisto actually winning a Slammy! I’m in no way demeaning what Kalisto did at the TLC event to win the Slammy. He actually deserved the OMG Moment. Since when does the WWE award anyone who actually deserves it? That’s why I think some of the fans votes actually counted.

TLC was a damn good event. The tag-team ladder match was most excellent. I ahve to say the last few pay-per-views haven’t been all that bad, and I haven’t actually gone in with the most confidence in the booking but they have surprised me. I like that. That’s the time I don’t mind being wrong. With that said, the Royal Rumble is a major question mark for me. It’s clear the WWE has no one they WANT to put up against Roman Reigns. Instead they changed the entire concept of the Rumble to actually have the WWE Championship on the line. Providing John Cena isn’t ready to return at the Rumble, the belt will most likely be kept on Reigns. There are rumours going around that former TNA Champion, AJ Styles has signed with the WWE and will be debuting at the Royal Rumble. I would actually have him win the title. That would be such a shocker. It won’t happen, but lets face it, we long time fans could use the WWE to spice it up a little bit. More on Styles later.

I’m totally stoked for Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match for the Intercontinental Championship. This might shock you some, since I have stated in the past that I hate LMS matches. I want to clear something up; I don’t hate them, but for a while there, there seemed to had been a LMS match every other month a few years back, and it was getting overdone. I just got sick and tired of them. Plus, Ambrose is friggin’ crazy, so I’m anticipating his antics.

Who wants more Becky Lynch? ME! I would love to see her be Diva’s Champion, and STAY a babyface. It’s been way too long since we have had a babyface champion who stayed a face. If you recall, Nikki Bella started off as a heel champion, then turned face for a brief time, and then was a heel again. Charlotte started off as a face but turned into a heel. As it stands, Becky is pretty much the only babyface diva. Natalya is as well, but she’s rarely on television anymore. So yes, it’s time we had a true babyface diva’s champion, and Becky Lynch would be a great representative. I actually like her. She’s unique, and a good in-ring worker.

Kalisto beat Alberto Del Rio to become the United States Chamion. His first major singles title. Sadly, that lasted a day, as he lost it back to Del Rio on SmackDown, which is taped the day after RAW. At least he gets his re-match at the Royal Rumble.

IMG_0245

To be honest, I didn’t expect Kalisto to even win the title from Del Rio in the first place, but I was happy he did. It just pissed me off that his reign was cut short on SmackDown. That was unfair. Then again, this is the WWE! Sometimes I’m still that hopefull, yet niave little girl who wants to believe that this is still real.

Batista-Its-Still-Real-To-Me-Damn-It-300x300

The Uso’s are getting another tag team championship opportunity against the New Day. I feel like I’m suppose to care about this, but I just don’t. Don’t get me wrong, I like the Uso’s, but I feel like I’m done with this match combo. I’m probably the only one who does not like The New Day. When grown men prance around wearing dildo’s on their heads and calling themselves “unicorns,” I just can’t help picturing them jacking off on stuffed My Lil’ Ponies. I’m sorry for the image, but C’mon!! OK bad choice of words. How am I suppose to take them as a serious threat if I was the one who was standing across the ring form them, and not bust a gut puking whenever Big E fucking bump n’ grind the air? They have fucking sex toys on top of their heads for fuck sakes. Now, there are children out there wearing these cocks on their heads too!! What kind of parents allow that? The dad wearing the trucker cap, wife-beater, chewing tobacco driving a pick-up truck with a gun rack on the back, and his house has more wheels on it than his vehical, they’re all flat mind ya’, he’s shooting helpless animals on the weekends when he doesn’t have his four children from three different toothless women, but after work dresses up as a furry cat and goes to a furry convention where he rubs up against other creepers in animal costumes…that’s who!!!!

Ahhh-anyways…

I mentioned AJ Styles earlier. Of course most of you know who he is, and his accomplisments. He’s a wonderful in-ring performer, however I have mentioned in the distant past that I never want to see him in the WWE because they will never use him properly. Look where the other two former TNA Champions are; James Storm had all of two matches to no fan fare in NXT. After only a very brief time, Storm re-signed with TNA because of lack of pay. Samoa Joe who has a long and impressive resume, and is more well-known than Storm, is in NXT instead of WWE. I do wonder whether or not it was Samoa Joe’s decision to go to NXT over WWE because, and lets face it, there is much better talent down there. I don’t know much about Samoa Joe, to be honest, but I would have to guess he probably wanted NXT for a multitude of reasons. Where does this leave AJ Styles? Will he actually debut at the Royal Rumble, or will he end up in NXT? When you break it down, he would be better off at NXT. The matches are better, the schedule is better and the fans are more dedicated. Triple H has done a great job with NXT. Who could fault Samoa Joe and/or AJ Styles if they did choose NXT over WWE? I certainly can’t. If both NXT & WWE had two seperate events coming to my area at the same time, I would choose NXT over WWE. Hands down!

If anyone has any legit information on whether or not Samoa Joe did choose or didn’t choose NXT, I’d love to hear it; rkodiva80@gmail.com

I pre-ordered the Owen Hart “Hart of Gold” blu ray back in October when I first heard about it. I have to give the WWE credit because they did an excellent job with showcasing Owen’s talent, humour, and the love and respect he had garnered from his peers, and family. I enjoyed learning about his life. The WWE also took great care not to show any footage of his wife and children, a request, I’m guessing from his widow. Everyone is saying that this release is a precursor to a 2016 Hall Of Fame induction, but I’m not going to hold my breath. No one deserves more than Owen Hart, but I feel that might be one thing his widow wouldn’t allow. Afterall, does she really benefit from that?

My 11-month old has two favourite wrestlers; Seth Rollins & Finn Balor. I say favourite because Balor & Rollins are the two she seems to watch the most. She watches and listens to Seth Rollins whenever he’s speaking, and she is captivated by Finn Balor’s entrance. I caughter her watching his Jack The Ripper inspired entrance at Take Over London, and than she banged on the table excitedly as he got into the ring. My baby girl has great tastes.

I know that I haven’t really lived up to being funny, but I been morose or sullen either. I haven’t been all that mean, so that’s progross. As it turned out, I had more things to say than I realized. Some stuff that I wanted to discuss. That’s all for me this month. Hope you enjoy the first Fatal-4-Way of 2016. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

***The views and opinions expressed in “Boot Camp” are strictly my own and do not in any way reflect those of WWE, TNA, the whiny fanboys of the IWC, or any other group that I might inadvertently piss off! **THIS ARTICLE IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY**

BOOT CAMP

I want to start off by wishing everyone here in the Boot Camp a very happy and kick-ass 2016!

By now, I am sure you’ve heard that the recent spike in celebrity deaths has not left the world of pro wrestling unscathed. I was saddened to hear of the passing of “Iron” Mike Sharpe. I still remember watching him many years ago. He always stood out to me as someone who could see a lot of success if given the right push. He is just one of WWE’s missed opportunities, but that didn’t stop him from cementing his memory in the hearts and minds of wrestling fans across the globe….this crusty old Sergeant included!

======================================

I am having a tough time figuring out whether Roman Reigns is simply a glutton for punishment, or if Vince McMahon and The Authority are really just a walking, talking bag of dicks. Ever since last year’s Royal Rumble, Triple H and his goon squad have made life miserable for Roman Reigns. Add a dash of Brock Lesnar, and a heaping scoop of Bray Wyatt…and you’ve got the perfect recipe for the proverbial shit sandwich that The Authority has been cramming down Reigns’ throat all frickin’ year long! Now that Roman is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion…..that simple sandwich has become a regular “$5 footlong”….and even harder to swallow, I am sure. After losing his mind and delivering a very satisfying beat down to both Triple H and Mr. McMahon, Reigns may have been able to blow off some steam, but it’s not making his life any easier. He now has to somehow win the entire Royal Rumble (while entering at #1 as well) in order to retain his title. While this may sound like a genius move to add even more suspense to the Rumble match, it also sort of screws up their formula heading toward WrestleMania. The winner of the Rumble normally goes on to face the reigning champion, but this year, the winner of the Rumble becomes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. No #1 contender will be decided. So………..WTF happens now? Also, if Roman Reigns retains at the Rumble….does he face himself at WrestleMania? LOL Obviously not, unless WWE is going to have some jobber dress up as Reigns like they did with fake Diesel and Undertaker back in the day. That sounds just horrible enough to work.

But, with the recent apparent signing of several new talents, including AJ Styles, they might go a whole different way and have someone completely new to WWE debut in the Rumble…..and win it. I have to call bullshit on anyone who comes in to a company and becomes their top champion on their first night. It doesn’t matter if it’s some well known veteran like AJ Styles, some unknown noob with a lucky streak a mile long, somebody with their hand in the CEO’s back pocket…..Hell, if the ghost of the Ultimate Warrior himself descended from the Heavens above and laid waste to the entire roster and stood alone inside that ring with the WWE World Heavyweight title belt raised high in the sky…..I would still call foul on the whole thing! I absolutely cannot stand that kind of privileged treatment, no matter who you are. The World Champion title is something some people could spend their entire lives chasing, and most never come close enough to get so much as a whiff of the leather on the strap as it passes them by.

Which also begs the question….if they have AJ Styles walk in and take the title at the Rumble, are they still planning to have him as part of the Bullet Club? Handing him the title is one thing, but having a whole stable of people watching his back makes it that much harder to stomach. It’s something we have seen a million times. It’s like you have to trade your testicles if you want to be a World Champion these days. Win the belt, then become a huge pussy who hides behind anyone and everyone in order to protect your little “precious” like fucking Gollum from Lord of the Rings.

===================================

I mean, you could take that route. Or, you could do what Matt Hardy did earlier this week and, not only turn heel during his title match against Ethan Carter III, but get your hands on the gold and proceed to absolutely lose your entire shit right there in front of everyone. Granted, this was a Last Man Standing match, so it was bound to be brutal. However, things took a very dark turn once Matt went over to his wife (who was standing in the crowd at ringside) and she handed him a hammer out of their kid’s freakin’ diaper bag. A hammer which Matt Hardy then attempted to hit EC III with moments later. Matt Hardy went into that match looking like a hero, but by the time it was over, the entire building seemed to be against him. Hardy has also posted some very conceited things on social media since winning the TNA World Championship. The previous champion was an ego-inflated bag of douche, and it looks like Matt Hardy is well on his way to becoming TNA’s #1 asshole as well (sorry, Mr. Anderson). What’s with the supposed need for a title to require a heel turn these days? A face champion can be just as effective if handled properly. Have the writers for WWE and TNA forgotten how to work a champion who isn’t a massive flaming pile of chicken crap??

===================================

On a much lighter note, I simply want to admit that I freaking LOVE Bayley! She is definitely something special and more than deserving of a call-up to the main roster. However, I would have mixed feelings if she was called up because I know how much of a positive influence she is to the other women on the NXT roster. On WWE Breaking Ground (awesome show!), she is always showing her ability to be a mentor and a leader among the other NXT Divas, and that earns her tons of respect from me. She isn’t just another big-boobed bimbo with a “brand” who cares more about selling herself on social media than actually doing what she was hired by WWE to do in the first place. Bayley is a WRESTLER! She calls herself that, and I totally believe it. She has been in some of the greatest matches in the past year. When is the last time a Divas match was highly regarded for Match of the Year? When is the last time a Women’s Championship match headlined a live special or PPV event? Until Bayley came into the picture, that answers is NEVER! Bayley is changing the game on so many levels, and I admire her for all of it! Seriously….she has those inflatable waving arm thingies as part of her entrance. Who does that? Just one, and you know who that is?

IT’S BAYYYYYYLEEYYYYYYY!!!!

I think I need a hug.

Before I wrap this up, I want to leave you all with a special request. It’s an opportunity, really. It’s something that can get you involved and provide an outlet for you to let your creative side run wild. What I am talking about is….a chance to be a guest writer for the Fatal 4-Way!

That’s right, fanatics. This is your chance to shine! No qualifications are needed. No prior experience. Just a love for the wrestling business and a desire to express it while having a little fun on the side. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, here’s how to get your foot in the door.

This is open to ALL of our readers anywhere in the world. In the past, we have had members of this team from all over the globe. If you are reading this, you are eligible! However, final approval goes through the team leader. To submit a request to be part of the Fatal 4-Way as one of our “Run-In” writers, contact Sarah (AKA “Diva”) via one of the social media links listed at the end of her “Skirt Sheet” articles. Let her know a little bit of your background, what you would like to talk about, and also what you plan on calling yourself. All of us at the Fatal 4-Way blog under a character of our own design, and that’s part of the fun. Our honorary members are no different.

So…..what’s it going to be? Anyone up to the challenge? We post our blog on the weekends when WWE holds their PPVs each month.

Everyone likes to be part of a winning team, right?

===================================

That’s pretty much all I’ve got for you this time, troops. Make sure to come on back for our WWE Fastlane edition. I am sure there will be plenty for us to talk about. Exactly “how” we end up talking about it? Well, you’ll have to wait and see.

Until next time, troops…..YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

===================================

Until next time, this is The Sarge…..reminding you: If at first you don’t succeed, then skydiving is not for you.

Best & Worst of 2015, Saying Farewell To A Long Time Blogger & TLC Predictions

December 13, 2015 Leave a comment

00 f4w2012banner

It’s the Final F4W of 2015, and there are some major changes coming in 2016. Sadly we have to say farewell to our long time contributer, one of the original players in this little blog that could, The Game. Steve has worked with me on this pretty much since day 1. We all will miss him, but as we all know too well, life gets in the way. As we have always said before, and encouraged, he is welcome back for a run-in, whenever he feels like he has something to say. Thank-you Steve for 9 wonderful years.

As usual, our last blog of the year, is nothing but our PPV predictions, and our Best and Worst list of the year. The List has taken a few cuts this year, as it wasn’t exactly a bountiful year in the wrestling business, but nonetheless, it is here…

Game Over: My Time Is Done

Its been a great 10 yrs doing this with some amazing people. Lots of laughs glad a lot of you agreed with my videos or written blogs. Its time tho to end it and move on it. So thank you Sarah and Greg and Sarge for the years of planning that went into all this. I’m trying to make this sound great and try not to make it a drawn out HOF type speech we all know how long those can get and how boring (Larry Zybesko) In closing I have had a lot of fun with this and feel now is the best time to pack it in and move on and maybe I will make a guest spot useful some weekend and you can always see me on my youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/HHHFan83 (love shameless plugs aka Mick Foley)

Thank you everyone for thinking I was great or even good for the the last 10 yrs.

farewell steve

Happy 9 Years to the F4W, and 25 Years of The Undertaker, Survivor Series Predictions & Threats against WWE

I’m not even sure where to begin. So much has happened in the past 24 hours. One of which is a very serious matter.

The terrorist group ISIS, has allegedly planned four attacks globally for November 22nd, and are siting Paris and Atlanta, Georgia in the United States as just two possible locations. The allegations site WWE’s event Survivor Series as a target. Triple H has released a lengthy statement regarding the threat.

“Federal, state and local law enforcement authorities have confirmed there is no specific or credible information involving a threat against tomorrow’s WWE Survivor Series at Philips Arena. However, WWE and Philips Arena have coordinated with the appropriate agencies and law enforcement, and significantly increased security measures to ensure the safety of all those in attendance, which is our highest priority.”

I’m in serious doubt that anything will happen, but a threat from these fuckers, is still a threat. One that shouldn’t be taken lightly. There are millions of WWE fans out there, and thousands will be in attendance tonight, so safety is extremely important. WWE has shown their long standing support of the Military. It’s not totally out of possibilities. Lets hope nothing happens, but always be safe out there, whether it be tonight at Survivor Series, or around the world. All this, is not necessary.

Also, the Fatal 4-Way is sad to announce the passing of legend, Nick Bockwinkel. Bockwinkel was a former World Heavyweight Champion in AWA, held multiple championships in NWA and many other territories. We send our condolences to Nick Bockwinkel’s family, friends and fans.

Nick BockwinkelFotor20150515

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the The Fatal 4-Way. I can’t believe another month has gone by since the last WWE PPV! Time sure does goes fast! Pretty soon it will be Christmas and New Years Eve! I have been busy with training at my new job! I have been enjoying it a lot! There are so many great people who work there! Everyone works as a team and they are there to help you out if you need it! Which is really awesome if I say so myself! Our Christmas party is next Saturday and I can’t wait to eat some great food and have a lot of fun! 🙂 Speaking of fun, lets talk about some Professional Wrestling shall we?!

So the big news coming out of the last month is the fact that Seth Rollins got injured during a house show overseas. It is really bad that he can no longer be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Which really sucks! I was enjoying Seth as The Champ! But of now we have to find a new Champion. Of course logic(in WWE land) would be lets put the Championship on Cena. But there is a problem, Cena is gone for two months filming a Reality TV Series(more on that later). So what about Option 2? Randy Orton should be good for the Championship. Oh wait that’s not going to work. Orton is injured too. Well I guess we will have to have a tournament to determine the new WWE World Champion! That’s right folks at Survivor Series we have two semi final matches. The 1st match is Roman Reigns vs Alberto Del Rio(yes he came back at the last PPV and defeated John Cena for the US Championship) and the 2nd semi final match is Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens! Not too shabby eh?

I’m going to predict it is going to be Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose in the final. I have a feeling Ambrose will get the win and he will turn heel. Which I really hope he doesn’t turn heel because honestly I think he is better as a face! The fans would like that more. But the word backstage is Roman Reigns was scheduled to beat Seth Rollins at Survivor Series when that was the original plan. So probably we will get a Roman Reigns win. But I’m all right with that too. I believe he has proven himself to get the Championship. So I guess we will find out on Sunday!

The other main event at Survivor Series will be The Undertaker & Kane vs The Wyatt Family. It is going to be a 3 on 2 match. It is 25th anniversary of The Undertaker so I don’t see him and Kane losing to The Wyatt Family. I would be shocked if they did though! I don’t believe this will be The Undertaker’s last match either! He’s plan for WM next year against…well you will have to wait to find out!

This week on RAW there was a segment involving Charlotte and Paige. Paige brought up the fact that Charlotte’s brother Reid(who has passed away) couldn’t live up to be being a Flair and now he is dead. A lot of people are saying that went over the line. Which I agree. Something like that shouldn’t really be in wrestling. But if the family is okay with it, then it shouldn’t really be a problem. But I heard Reid’s Mom was not okay with it at all. Nobody told her that was going to be brought up and she got upset over it! I would be too! Sometimes I think WWE doesn’t really think about how these things will affect other people who are involved with the situation. Anyway they will be having a match at Survivor Series and you can check out my prediction along with my co-bloggers predictions at the end of this blog!

So we found out why John Cena booked two months off. He is filming a TV Series. It is a Military Type Reality Show. 16 men and women trying to win a 1 million dollars I believe. They will be in groups of four to start and do these programs and they get eliminated one by one? I don’t know the full details but if you go on pwinsider.com they have an article about it. I guess it is something I could see John Cena do. I’m sure he is having a blast doing it! To be honest I’m not sure why they haven’t done this type of show yet up until now.

TNA are longer on Destination America. They will be moving to a new Network called Pop TV. It used to be the TV Guide channel in the States. So if you have that channel you will get to see it! They will have a live show starting in January. They are currently in talks with some big names to load up their show. One name who was mentioned is Goldberg. We shall see.

SmackDown will be changing networks in the new year. They will move to USA network. That will probably be better for WWE. That will start in January too.

Anyway that’s it for me this month! I hope everyone has a great month and I will see next month with our annual Fatal 4-Way Year End Blog! Have a nice day!

The Skirt Sheet

I have so many things rolling around my head about wrestling right now, but I think I’ll only briefly touch on certain things but I would like to focus on the 25 year of the phenomn, The Undertaker. So I better shut it and get to bidness…

First off, I love seeing Tyler Breeze on the main roster. I love his gimmick of basically making fun of models. It really shows how stupid girls and guys can look when they make that fucking duck face. Or as my iPhone would have auto corrected it to ducking fuck facade. Not even joking. He does it so well, I don’t really think he needs Summer Rae. Maybe it’s more like she needs him. Her career is floundering fast. She isn’t in-ring material, and she can’t cut a promo worth beans. Summer more or less needs Breeze. She’d be better off going back to Fandango. Wherever he is nowadays. Summer aside, Breeze is good at making his promos about himself, which works great with his character. A character who is so self-absorbed with themselves, doesn’t seem like the type who would want to share the spotlight with anyone else. My only complaint about the way the WWE is booking him is, he needs to be alone like he was on NXT. Also, don’t bury him like they’ve done to Neville. It’s such a waste. If they have nothing planned for these guys, don’t call them up yet. It’s that simple.

Secondly, Wade Barrett deserves better. He’s floundering so bad because the WWE doesn’t know what to do with him. The man has talent. He is a pure in-ring worker. His style is old school mixed with brawling. Give him the chance to show that he can put on good matches with the bigger boys. Stop putting over stupid guys like Ryback. Ryback has proven that he’s an idiot. Barrett is smart, he has good timing and is an amazing heel. Does it really hurt to put him back in a title race? One where he won’t lose to a newcomer. Maybe give him and Sheamus into the tag team title picture and actually give them the titles. Or put him back into the Intercontinental championship reign. Do something with him, other than job. I love Neville too, but he never should have gone over Barrett in this stupid title tournament.

Third, I feel so bad for Seth Rollins. While oversees in England, he suffered a severe knee injury, which will have him out for 6 to 9 months. Of course this put the kibosh on his feud with Roman Reigns going into Survivor Series, as he had to relinquish the title (yet again, it gets given up due to injury). I also feel sorry to whomever (coughReignscough) wins this tournament, as they’ll forever have that tag as “transitional champion”. It’s one thing to defeat the champion and win the title and be called that, but to win a vacant title because the previous champion gets injured, means you are just keeping the belt warm. No matter what, whomever wins this WWE World Heavyweight Championship, better tussle their ass to prove that they aren’t just keeping the title warm for when Rollins returns. They need to earn their right to keep it after he comes back.

To be honest, I’m just surprised John Cena didn’t come back from his “rest”, because the title was open and he was a shoe-in. If anyone gets title hungry, it’s him.

And lastly before I go into my Undertaker tribute, I do not miss Nikki Bella. I was getting tired of looking at her too short shorts. It was like I could smell the fish from my television. I’m so over that. With the way the NXT diva’s were performing in the past two years, should have forced the WWE Diva’s to work harder. I’m not saying that they didn’t, because they did, but not because the girls in Florida were out performing them on every single level, but because they were now television stars from Total Diva’s. They needed to make themselves look a little better. As soon as Paige came up from NXT, those girls currently in WWE, should have started training harder and working to have the best matches. They didn’t. The moment Natalya and Charlotte had that epic match for the NXT Women’s Championship, they should have started working harder. They didn’t. When Sasha Banks and Charlotte started to have title matches in NXT, they should have worked harder. They didn’t. It’s a bit too late for girls like Nikki, Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, Naomi, Tamina, Lana, Summer, etc.. Natalya has proven that she can run with the NXT girls, because she did it. But because Nikki, Brie, and Alicia, etc. Can’t seem to run with the NXT girls, the new girls have had to slow it down, and pretty much baby the seniors. Yeah, I said it, the seniors. WWE is starting to show more of the diva’s, and give them more in-ring time. NXT this past week had not one match on the 1 hour show, but three divas matches. So yeah, that’s my issues. With Nikki Bella out of the way, and Brie Bella sucking worse than Summer Rae, I want to see this so-called Revolution actually make serious changes.

Twenty-five years ago, this giant man debuted at Survivor Series. A character that has never been seen before. If I was as smart as I am now back then when I was only 10-years old, I would probably predict, that he wouldn’t last very long. I would have been wrong. Even at 10 years of age, I felt chills, as this tall man, dressed all in black who spoke about death, walked to the ring. In the past 25-years, it has not changed. I get chills. I’ve been lucky to have seen the man, known as The Undertaker, perform a few times. To feel the goose bumps on my arms and the chill and also excitement, run up & down my spine, is one of the greatest feelings for a wrestling fan. A feeling that is hard for one man to keep up doing for almost three decades. Mark Calaway, has taken a character that many felt was doomed from the beginning, and with help from Paul Bearer, made The Undertaker into a man who is well respected, loved, and revered. He is the man that all up and coming wrestlers aspire to stand across the ring against. They know, that if they can get ‘Taker’s approval, then they have a shot. He is the judge, jury and executioner.

In 1990, he surfaced as The Undertaker, under “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase’s regime. He then had Brother Love as his manager for a brief time before hitting the jackpot with William Moody, aka Paul Bearer. He’s faced men like “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, The Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, King Kong Bundy, Diesel/Kevin Nash, to name a few. He’s had epic battles with Mick Foley and Kane. He’s been involved in many storylines that pushed the envelope. He’s the Phenomn!

I’ve been a fan since day 1, and I’ll never stop being a fan of his. There is no other wrestler who I respect like I do The Undertaker. I admire his loyalty to a company that has had many up and downs. The way he stays in character, which shows respect to the business which was built on making everything look real. My dream is to one day get to meet The Undertaker, and tell him Thank-You. I want him to know that because of him, I’ve continued being a fan of something that I loved as a child. Something that I still enjoy as an adult. I want him to know how much I respect him and everything he has done.

25 yrs Undertaker

I know I’m writing this like he is retiring soon, and in my gut says that he will be. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this Sunday, at Survivor Series, exactly 25 years from the day he debuted, could be his last match. If for some reason, it isn’t, then WrestleMania 32 in Dallas will likely be his last match. With all the stuff coming out about him, from books to DVD’s, to all the specials on the WWE Network, it just makes sense. It will be so hard to get used to him not being in the WWE, even though in the last few years, he’s rarely been there. There is always that chance you will be sitting there one Monday night or even at a random pay-per-view, and hear that gong. When he finally says his final good-bye, I doubt he will be completely gone from the business, but I will tell you, I will never forget him.

Before I say good-bye for this month, I need to tell my fellow bloggers, HAPPY 9th ANNIVERSARY!!! You guys have made this blog so much fun over the years. Our lives have changed so much over the past 9-years but we are still here. So thank-you so much Bill, Steve, and Greg. As well as other contributers, Darren, Marrek, Mike, Leila, Peter, Brandon, Kaitlyn, and anyone else I may have forgotten. Cheers fellas! Can’t wait for next months blog. Our End of The Year Best and Worsts! Always fun! Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

BOOT CAMP

What’s up, warriors? Welcome to the 9 Year Anniversary of the Fatal 4-Way….and Sarge’s Boot Camp!! Here’s to many, many more!!

Hope everything is going well for you this Survivor Series weekend. Life is about as good as it can get on my end. The job at Walmart is still going strong. It’s getting even more hectic as the Christmas season gets closer. I guess that’s the downside of working retail, but what am I going to do? It’s a job, and it exactly what we all need right now. The extra money does help out a lot around here, if only to help pad what I already bring in with retirement and disability. Wife is happy. Kids are happy. I have no choice but to be happy myself!

=====================================

Alright, people. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around what is going through the heads of people who work for WWE Creative lately….and the people who sign off on the things that actually make it onto TV. Case in point: the Divas Championship contract signing segment at the end of RAW this past Monday night.

Maybe I was simply caught up in it all, or not quite able to see it from another point of view at that time, but apparently a lot of people are upset over the fact that they brought Charlotte’s deceased brother into the conversation to add some “cheap heat” (as it was called) to the segment. Sure, I knew it was bad juju to talk about dead family members during a wrestling promo, but I just went with it. Overall, the contract signing had a tangible sense of emotion and tension that could be literally cut with a knife. It made a strong impact to say the least. Paige has gotten under Charlotte’s skin and into her head more effectively than any one the other Divas ever have before! Like I said earlier, it was indeed bad form to talk about Charlotte’s brother, but it did bring the whole dialog to a fever pitch. I am not defending what was done. I am simply saying that even though it was somewhat indecent, it still worked. Charlotte brought up her family as a source of her intense pride in being a champion, and Paige took the dirty route and turned all mention of Charlotte’s family into a negative to serve her own vile purpose. It all worked so well because it was inappropriate, and it helped to cement both Divas in their roles heading into this Sunday’s big title match.

However, I know there has been an outcry on social media since RAW ended. Some people in the industry have praised that segment and the people involved, but many others have made their distaste known for the direction the WWE writers took in bringing up dead relatives as a way to generate heat. I am sort of on the fence about it. I know it was done in bad taste, and WWE may face some backlash for it, but at the end of the day….what’s done is done, and I am one of the people who feel dirty for knowing what was said and actually thinking it was done to great effect. I don’t agree with WWE taking risks like this where families are involved, but it’s absolutely not the worst thing WWE has ever given the green light to.

I say we all can acknowledge the words and events of last Monday’s “go home” segment of RAW, take it at face value for what it was……a promo designed to build up the Divas Championship match at Survivor Series. The main problem with all of this is that our society as a whole (and the WWE Universe) has gone from being largely desensitized to things that may be considered slightly “taboo” back in the Attitude Era to being a bunch of easily offended pussies who pitch a fit on the Internet if the wind changes direction without their permission. Bottom line….it’s a TV show. ISIS attacked and people died in Paris last week. Let’s focus on what’s really wrong in the world today. Huh? Did it offend you that I brought that up? Good! There may be hope for us all yet.

=====================================

I am guessing that, because of all the flap from the Paige/Charlotte promo at the end of RAW, that they are going to have Charlotte go over and successfully defend the Divas title just to keep the whole thing politically correct and smooth it over with the Butt-hurt Brigade who will most likely try to break the Internet if Paige dares to make good on her title shot and steal the championship like the evil, heartless piece of garbage that she is. In this world, we can’t let the people who offend us get away with shit. Paige has to lose because everyone is looking for Charlotte to be vindicated this Sunday! It’s the only way to keep from losing consumers of their product in this society of instant gratification and happy endings for all!

Personally, I hope Paige does win just to piss a lot of people off. The next day on Facebook and Twitter will be more epic than the PPV itself….and it won’t cost me $9.99 to watch it all go down.

=====================================

Okay, switching gears. On a lighter note, I know this year’s Survivor Series marks the 25th anniversary of the Undertaker in WWE. I can still remember the night when he made his debut. He was impressive back then, and he has never disappointed me since. Now, he and Kane are set for a match against the Wyatt Family. I would say this is the match I am looking forward to the most. The Brothers of Destruction always put up a stellar fight, and the Wyatt’s could very well be their biggest challenge to date. Naturally, since this is Undertaker’s celebration year and all, there is pretty much no secret as to which team is going to come out victorious. To have Taker and Kane lose on this momentous anniversary event would be a very bad choice. However…..Creative has been making some real stinkers as of late. Let’s all just watch and see what happens!

=====================================

Okay, I am pretty sure I pissed a few people off this time. It’s all part of my promise to deliver brutal honesty with a side of honest brutality. I say it like I see it, and if you don’t like it….that’s your problem. I never come out here to intentionally upset people. That’s why I put up that disclaimer at the heading of all my articles that this BOOT CAMP is “for entertainment purposes only”. There need to be more things in life that come with disclaimers. Maybe it would keep the social media shit storms to a minimum. Or, maybe it won’t. Some people just can’t handle the truth!

And with that, I’m out of here until next time. Take it easy, and do your best to make it back here for the next edition. I’ll be taking attendance after all!

Until then, troops……YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

===================================

Until next time, this is The Sarge…..reminding you: You can tell a lot about a woman’s mood just by her hands. For instance, if she is holding a gun, she is probably angry!

Saying Good-Bye To Roddy Piper & SummerSlam 2015

Hey there people, I hate to start of the blog with negative news, and as I’m sure you all have heard by now that Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, passed away suddenly at his home on July 31st. He died of a heart attack in his sleep. We are all saddened and shocked by this news, but the Rowdy one will never be forgotten.

We here at the Fatal 4-Way, send our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Rowdy in Peace Hot Rod!! We all love you down here!!

The Skirt Sheet

So who is excited for SummerSlam? I am, so much so that as soon as Stephen Amell of Arrow was added to a match, I got the WWE Network! Lol!!! Love it! Anyways, I’ll shut it and get to damn bidness.

So this is totally happening…

Amell Summer Slam

I’m super stoked for it. I pretty much figured that if Stephen Amell was involved some way that he would either be teaming or in the corner of Neville, and I knew it would be against Stardust, but I thought The Miz not King Barrett would be involved. To all of you who know me, know that this must kill me to have Amell and Neville on one side, and King Barrett on the other. I love Barrett, and I love Amell and Neville, so what is a girl to do? Find out in my predictions. It’s not an easy choice for me to choose.

Pretty much the rest of the card is looking mediocre for being a 4-hour pay-per-view. Four hours makes me tired just thinking about it that my planned day-time nap, is now gone out the window as Mat is hosting game day at our place and all of his friends will be at our place during the day and mine will be here for the pay-per-view. I’m ok with that, as long as none of his friends are hanging around for the event. Our place isn’t big enough, and I want to enjoy my friends not his. Lol!! I don’t really have a problem with them, it’s just that’s way too many people, and makes for a tiring day of hosting that many people. However, moving on…

The diva’s match looks really good. It’s going to be a hard match to call because Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch) are probably the coolest and most skilled at actual wrestling, bus so is Naomi and Sasha Banks. The rest can just bugger off. The Bella’s and Alicia Fox will just use hairography as a way to distract from their horrible wrestling skills. Nikki Bella is the only one in that three-some that has a decent move set. Brie is so bad that she makes Alicia Fox look good, which says something because she stinks as bad as an unclean litter box. I have no problem with Tamina, except that she goes in, does some power moves and that’s it. Does she have an actual skill set? Considering that both Team B.A.D (Naomi, Tamina and Sasha Banks) and Team PCB, all have had the upper hand means I could see Team Bella coming out on top. After all, you can’t have the twin who is fucking the company’s biggest douche bag since Shawn Michaels, lose. Can you? He’s not going to lose so why should his fish-monger girlfriend lose as well? Somethings are just too damn obvious.

It’ll be great to see Undertaker back at a non-WrestleMania event. It’s been way too long. Lets just hope Brock Lesnar doesn’t win because I no longer have a balcony to toss my couch out over. I don’t think it would have the same impact if I pushed it off the front porch.

Mathew and I have our fourth annual Halloween party coming up, and I had been wracking my brain about what I should do for a costume. Then one of the most shockingly sad things happened in a long time to the wrestling world and it’s long-time fans… “Rowdy” Roddy Piper died suddenly. So as a way to pay tribute to the “Hot Rod”, I’m going to go as Piper for Halloween (minus the wig because those are so uncomfortable). So if anyone has any idea how I can make a set of bag pipes, email me (which can be found at the end of this blog). I must say this, Roddy Piper was one of the best heels I have ever seen in the wrestling business, yet he was a super nice, average guy. He didn’t live beyond his means and he worked hard to keep his family together. I was shocked and heartbroken when I heard of his passing. I’m so thankful I got a chance to meet him back in 2005. To his family, and his wrestling family, and other fans like me, I’m sincerely sorry for our loss. He will never be forgotten. Thank-You Roddy Piper!!

Sadly, you guys, I don’t really have a heck of a whole lot to say this month. I’ve been so busy with other things that I just haven’t really had time to think about wrestling. I’m still watching it, it’s just between my fundraising for Kiska (the only captive killer whale left in Canada), to my daughter, to getting settled in our new house, and buying a new car, I’ve been so pre-occupied. I’m guessing this is it for me. I’m sure I’ll think of other stuff later when it’s too late and irrelevant. Oh well, thems the breaks. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

Hello there my Royal subjects and welcome to another edition of The Royal Thoughts! First off I would like to say I was really sadden to hear about the passing of Rowdy “Roddy” Piper. It is such a shame to hear things like that in the wrestling world. Rowdy was a great heel and fan favourite back in the day. He had some really amazing promos too! I know he was one of the best guys on the mic. He could still do it even when he was last on RAW. He will be missed. RIP Rowdy Roddy Piper! 😦

SummerSlam is this weekend and I will be going over to Diva’s place to watch it with her and some of her wrestling friends. It should be fun! It looks like SummerSlam is shaping up to be a good PPV. We have some great matches including The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar, John Cena vs Seth Rollins, Ryback vs The Big Show vs The Miz, Neville & Arrow vs Stardust & King Barrett and a few more matches too. I’m looking forward to this PPV. I haven’t watched a PPV since WM this year!

Last night I watched an episode of NXT. It was pretty entertaining! I was telling a friend of mine who hasn’t watch WWE in a long time that he should really check out NXT. It kinda reminds me of the time when I watched WWE Superstars and Maple Leaf Wrestling(in Canada) but with a modern twist. I like how NXT uses enhancement talents to help their performers get better. It is cool to see Kevin Owens, Finn Barlor. Samoa Joe, Tyler Breeze, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Baley and many others perform on it! This is the future and it looks really good for WWE. NXT Takeover is tonight and the main event is Kevin Owens vs Finn Barlor in a Ladder Match for the NXT Championship. The second main event is Sasha Banks vs Baley for the Woman’s Championship. It should be a great special. Plus Jushin Thunder Liger is going to be part of it too! He’s a big talent from Japan!

In other news Hulk Hogan got into a lot of hot water. There was some audio which was released with him saying some not so nice things. It pretty much got him fired from WWE right away. It sucks that this happened but Hogan should of known better. This audio he knew was out there and he knew it was going to be bad. He should of dealt with it earlier instead of the way it went down. I don’t know if he will ever learn.

There hasn’t really been a lot of news besides the things I mentioned above. Which is kinda weird when you consider this is the wrestling business! There should be more news.

I haven’t been to a live event in a long time. I think next time WWE is close by I will check out a show. Maybe Diva would like to go with me? Or I could find someone else to go! Haha We shall see! Anyway that’s it for me this month! I hope you guys enjoy SummerSlam if you’re going to watch it and have a great month and the rest of the summer! 🙂

BOOT CAMP

What’s up, Warriors?

Yep, your friendly neighborhood Sarge is back after taking a powder for the Battleground edition of the Fatal 4-Way. First off, I want to apologize to all my fans….my troops out there in internet land. Whether you missed me, or not….whether you even gave half a shit that I was writing last month, or not…I just want to let you know that I appreciate you all. You aren’t just loyal readers of this column. You are friends. Hell, I might even go so far as to consider you family. We’ve been doing this blog since 2006, and all our success and growth lies completely on all of you, our readers. If nobody cared to come out here and see what the team has to say, or maybe take a look simply to see how far one of us might go to get a reaction…this blog would have been a rather short-lived product. Thankfully, we are still going strong as ever in 2015. Nearly 9 years later and we are still doing this. If you are reading this, then you are part of why we continue to produce our articles and fuse them into this quadruple threat of awesomeness for you each and every weekend when WWE holds a PPV.

You see, it’s the people in life that truly make an impact. They can make one’s life feel completely worthwhile, or like a living nightmare. The people in one’s life can make or break every hour of every damn day, if you think about it. This idea is why I had to take our last edition off. I chose to be absent and not contribute because I was working through some excruciating shit that was making my life a very dark and troubling place.

Brace yourselves….The Sarge is about to get real for a minute!

I can’t pinpoint exactly when things took the turn that they did, but I basically woke up one day and decided that I could not be around people anymore. Working in a retail environment at the time, this became extremely problematic. I was uncomfortable dealing with customers, and I was afraid that as it got worse, people would be able to see it in my face. I did not need to be feeling the way I did and try to maintain a fake sense of positivity for the sake of keeping others at ease while in my presence. I was getting angry more easily. I was becoming more stern and unnecessarily hostile toward my wife and kids. I honestly felt as though the person who I was inside my head was not the same as the one people saw on the outside. I knew I could not go on like that much longer. I had to get my head on straight again, and that meant some drastic measures had to be taken. The day after I came to this realization, I walked right into my work and told my boss that I needed to quit immediately. No two-week notice. I was just DONE! He totally understood and let me go with no hard feelings. I was shaking as I spoke to him. I could tell my hands were quivering as I gestured when I spoke. My voice was trembling. This was absolutely NOT “me”. Not one bit, and it had me scared that something was wrong on a level that I could not come back from. Quitting my job was the first step, but it was one I had to take. Wherever this bad place was that I was currently in, I had to find a way to make it back to who I really am, no matter how difficult the journey.

The following few days after that were very rough and disturbing for me. My wife was preoccupied with a garage sale in our basement, so I was left to tend to our two kids. I love these little people beyond life itself, but you would never believe that if you saw and heard the way I was treating them. My head was so messed up, and my soul had become so injured that I did nothing but yell and punish both of them the whole time. I sent them to their rooms. I flew off the handle for the smallest things. I shoved them, pulled them, shouted at the top of my lungs at them. I made them bawl their little eyes out and I know they saw me not as their loving Daddy, but as some kind of monster. I knew this in my heart, and even as rabid and furious as I felt in my head, my heart was being crushed by the way I was acting toward my family and friends. Part of me didn’t care, but the other part wouldn’t let me stop caring. I am a man who has not shed a single tear since I was eight years old, and I did not cry even under all that stress, though I felt very close to breaking down almost every day while this was going on.

Naturally, my wife could sense that something was wrong in all the commotion that was going on above her head while she was in the basement doing the sale. She had to have heard the kids carrying on and the doors slamming, and my cursing and yelling. She got me one-on-one after all this had happened, and she showed me first and foremost that she cared. She hated seeing me in such a bad state, and she was genuinely worried. She was upset by the way our children’s conduct toward me had changed so drastically in just a few days. I am sure they were both so confused and hurt by everything that was going on. It killed me inside to think that my own children may possibly love me less, if at all anymore after the way I had let my anger get the better of me. I seriously felt like something in my head had snapped, and now my own family (the people I love so much I wish I had two hearts just to contain it all) were feeling the ill effects of my outward hostility. I knew something had to change, and it needed to happen fast. It needed to happen….period! I could not live my life feeling like that. Yes, I did consider ending my life during that time. It became like a tug of war inside my head. One moment, it felt so right to just remove myself from all the shit was affecting me, but then my conscience would intervene and talk me out of it. Every time, it got harder to come back to reality and accept that my life is important to so many more people than just me. If I had taken my life, I would have selfishly taken myself away from a wife and two kids who need me more than I may ever know. A family who loves me beyond all reason. The more I came to think of these kinds of things, that battle within my mind only got more difficult. My negative side had me thinking that all that “love” bullshit about my family was all a bunch of crap and lies, but I had some fiber of my being that kept me sane enough to cast those notions aside and avoid anything tragic to occur. Needless to say, this all made my family very uncomfortable. As a way to give everyone some time to regroup and get our heads right, my wife took the kids and went on a road trip for a few days, while I was left to stay home and have some time to search my soul and get my shit straight, for everyone’s sake. I also went back to taking my depression meds again. The little “vacation” did us all some good, and my family was happy to see me when they got back. I heard that my kids were asking about me almost the whole trip, and they really did miss me. It meant a lot to hear that, knowing the abominable way I acted toward them. It did my heart a lot of good, and it made seeing them again after the trip that much more special.

It took nearly the entire four days of “alone time” to fully come to terms with how I was feeling and to understand how to get myself back to “normal” again. I made the best use of my time and it was all very good for my soul. I spent the time healing from the inside out, taking my meds and trying to find my center. It was almost a night and day difference once everything began to click again, and that was a very welcome feeling!

So, here we are a month or so later, and things are still holding together well. I still have no idea how I managed to descend into that bad place, but I am relieved to have been able to get back to my old self again.
