We are Back, for a Special Edition of Randomness.

00-f4w2012banner

Hey, we’re baaaaaaAAAAck!! Three of us are anyways. It’s a very special edition of The Fatal 4-Way. We’ve all been crazy busy since our “retirement” from the blog world, but we all have said that we can come back for very special editions. So never count us out. We’re back in after the count of 8 (months, that is). So The Game, Greg and I are here for a rare blog. We just got the urge and decided to write. Because it was such a last minute decision, Sarge is unable to join us this time. Maybe next time we’ll have this better planned out. When the urge strikes, the urge strikes, right?

Hey everyone, welcome back to the Triple Threat! Aka The Fatal 4-Way – 1 lol You thought you got rid of us but no just when you thought wrestling couldn’t get anymore crazy the Fatal 4-Way decides to do a family reunion! Woot! Okay in all seriousness I’m happy to be back to do this one time reunion for you all! Thanks to Diva for suggesting to do this today! So lets skip about what’s going in my life right now(it’s cool, still have that great job and I’m happy!) and get into the real thing you want to know…wrestling!

Where should I begin…how about WrestleMania 33. Yes folks it happened. The Undertaker lost to Roman Reigns and has retired. He went out old school style and did the right thing(?) and he put over Roman Reigns. I know a lot of you are pretty upset that this happened. I know I was too(I pretty much turned off the TV when Reigns won but I was sooo tired and had to be up at 6:00am the next day) the PPV was way too long for me. I watched it from 7pm till just after Midnight! Man that was a long night! But back to Roman winning the match. You guys have to remember The Undertaker is old school so he was doing what he thought was the right thing and putting over the next big thing. Unfortunately not a lot of people really like him and yeah I don’t think they will ever like him now because of what happened. Back to The Undertaker he will be one of the greatest Attractions that WWE has ever had. There will be no other guy like The Undertaker. He is in his own category and that should be fine! I wish him the best and I’m going to miss him in the ring but it is his time now to enjoy the roses and be with his family. I hope they put him in WWE HOF next year because he deserves it so much!

Another big things happened at WM 33 and that was the return of The Hardy Boyz to WWE. I knew it was going to happen except I didn’t know when it was going to happen! If you have been following the TNA-Hardy Boyz fallout then you knew it was just a matter of time before they were going to show up in WWE. AS you know Matt Hardy has created this great Broken Matt gimmick back in TNA last year. It went over so well that it was probably the only thing good on TNA at the time. Then he got his Brother Nero to join in and it become one of the most talk about storylines in suck a long time! It was wild, crazy and pretty damn funny at times! I watched it and fell in love with it! I showed it to my friend Matt and he just couldn’t believe how campy it was and how great it was too! We both enjoyed it a lot. Then TNA lost Dixie Carter and TNA was sold to a new company. Now they are called Impact Wrestling. But then they did the unbelievable thing…they let The Hardy’s go. What a stupid move on their part. So The Hardy Boyz showed up in Ring of Honor as Broken Matt and Brother Nero. It was over and Impact Wrestling sent them a warning saying they couldn’t use the Broken Matt and Brother Nero gimmick because it didn’t belong to them. So now The Hardy Boyz had to drop that gimmick for now until they have the rights for it. Anyway they showed up in WWE at WM 33 as the other tag team for the Ladder Match. They ended up winning the RAW tag team championship. It was a cool surprise to see them back on WWE TV. It was such a great moment.

Another match that happened at WM 33 was Triple H vs Seth Rollins. That match was all right. I got kinda bored(by this time it was almost 10:30pm and I wasn’t really feeling that well that night to begin with). I thought the match went on and on. The cool spot of the night was when Stephanie went through the table after Triple H ran into her. That was pretty cool. Then Seth got the win after that. I like Rollins. I think he is a great worker and the better guy from The Shield. I have always been a Rollins fan. So I’m curious as to what they are going to do with him now. I’m hoping he will get a title run again. He deserves it for sure!

One match that I thought was horrible was The Miz & Mayrse vs John Cena & Nikki Bella. My goodness that was 25 mins of crap that I won’t get back. Cena and Bella won. Then Cena propose to Bella. They will probably have a SummerSlam wedding. Yay just what we really need again…another wrestling wedding. Blah blah blah.

I’m so happy that Bayley is still your Women’s Champion! She beat Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax in a fatal 4-way match! It was a great match and it should have been a little bit longer. They all worked really hard and it was probably one of my favourite match from the night!

Then we had Brock Lesnar take on Goldberg aka Grandpa for the Universal Championship. Don’t get me started with why this match was for the championship. It shouldn’t have been. Anyway Lesnar finally beat him and become the Universal Champion. Now Finn Balor needs to get his championship back from Lesnar! I hope that happens real soon!

Kurt Angle, DDP, Ravings Rick Rude and others were inducted into this years WWE HOF. All of them were well deserved. Kurt Angle was also hired as the new WWE GM for RAW. That should be pretty fun! I wonder what Angle is going to do to tick off Stephanie?! Lol It should be exciting times!

RAW & Smackdown are having Roster trade this week. It should shake things up for them. I hope they don’t load up RAW because Smackdown is the better Brand right now and they seem to do things more interesting than what happens on RAW.

Okay I’m finished for now. I hope you guys enjoyed my blog. I had a great time doing it. Who knows never say never in wrestling there might come a time when you least expect it and bam! Just like that out comes another edition of the Fatal 4-Way! Have a nice day!

the-skirt-sheet

The mood struck me randomly Monday night to write a blog about wrestling. I’ve had so many thoughts and ideas rolling around my head lately that I decided, why not? Well I couldn’t do it without at least inviting my partners along for a road trip. So three of us have come together to bring you this special edition. I have a lot to say about what’s gone done (not who) in the world of pro-wrestling. So, I’ll shut it, and get to bidness (man, I miss saying that).

I pre-wrote out everything that I thought I wanted to say, but fuck it. I’m going to go by the seat of my pants. I will not comment on The Undertaker, because I do plan on writing a separate blog on just him and his amazing career in the future. I just want it to be perfect. I went ahead and I made bullet points to work off of. I alway pre-write my blogs by hand and then put them to the computer and go from there. So tonight, I’m going at this a completely different way.

Lately, I’ve become obsessed with podcasts. It gets me through the last leg of my night shift when I need to put my laptop away. It all started with Lilian Garcia’s new podcasts which can be seen on the Youtube, “Making Their Way To The Ring”. The first one I watched was the two-part Trish Stratus (surprise-surprise, right?), and then Mick Foley’s. I highly reccommend those pods, but must check out is AJ Styles, Mickie James, Amy “Lita” Dumas, and Sasha Banks. I got into Talk is Jericho with Chris Jericho as well. The editions with Big Cass, Becky Lynch, and Edge and Christian were great. On the heels of that, Edge and Christian have a new podcast, and they’re just three episodes (soon to be four), into it. Eand C’s Pod of Awesomeness. Their hilarious, and fun. I enjoyed their first podcast with Goldberg, but it was their second and third one with Shane McMahon and Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix had me in stitches. So totally worth checking those out. So yes, I’m obsessed with these podcasts. So check them out!!! Do it now, or you’ll make my list!

I was probably one of the few people blindsided by the Hardy’s return at WrestleMania. I’ll admit it, I didn’t put the pieces together even though I had the pieces. I knew they were in Orlando for Ring Of Honour and WrestleCon, and I knew they dropped the ROH tag titles to the Young Bucks, I knew they only had a month long contract with ROH. When the New Day came out to say that the triple threat ladder match, has been made into a fatal fourway match. There I am thinking, “fuck! The New Day are weeding their way into the match,” and then….I lost my shit! Part of my emotion was that I didn’t see it coming despite seeing all the writing on the wall. So yeah, I lost my shit. I think it’s great to have them back in the WWE, and I can’t wait to see whether or not they can bring in the Broken Matt Hardy gimmick. That’s a whole story of the executives at TNA Impact wrestling holding the gimmick hostage. They see it as money, and they’re not happy that the Hardy’s didn’t resign and that would mean loss of money. So now they are holding the Hardy’s up for royalties made in other companies and shows. Matt Hardy’s wife, Reby, had the forethought to go and get their gimmick and the theme music trademarked, and now they’re all in a court battle. I’m guessing it’s only time when the WWE will step in to get that control away from the fledging company. They’ve never stopped AJ Styles from leaving with his Phenomanal gimmick. There are a few instances where other superstars left TNA and went to other companies, and took their gimmicks with them without issues. So I’m hoping everything will get straightened out. It’s too great of a gimmick to just let it go.

At the WWE Hall of Fame I think everyone expected Kurt Angle’s speech to be the speech of the night, but that goes to Beth Phoenix. Her speech was so amazing, and so heartfelt, and honest. The revelation about Molly Holly paying for her wrestling school tuition, was so emotional because it showed that there are great people out there who want to help others follow their dreams. It made me think that Molly Holly could be on her way to the Hall of Fame next year, and she should be. I think that her career and her heart and her kindness shouldn’t be overlooked. Beth’s speech was fun and emotional and I just thought that she nailed it. I only ever watch a few speeches at the HOF, but I think I watched quite a few this year. I watched Diamond Dallas Paige’s, “Ravishing” Rick Rude’s family’s speech, Beth’s, and Kurt’s. All of their speeches were amazing. Congratualations to the 2017 Hall of Fame class.

We’ve seen the reassurgence of Jinder Mahal after two years away from the WWE. To be honest, I didn’t even notice he was gone. I did notice that when he returned that he was significantly larger. I’m not an idiot, I’m not blind. He was larger, vein-ier, all that back acne, hmmmm….STEROIDS!!!!!

Mahal

The dude is jacked!! Mahal apparently addressed the steroid rumours, and claims that he has never done steroids and has never failed any drug tests. Haven’t we heard that before, from other superstars? Hulk Hogan comes to mind, and he even had to take the stand in a federal trial back in the early 90’s against the WWF and Vince McMahon, where he admitted to taking steroids. So Mahal’s claim is futile. I don’t believe him, and I’m guessing not many other people do as well. Maybe the WWE hasn’t tested him exactly for the steroid cocktail. They clearly leave certain superstars alone from testing. John Cena, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Mahal, all clearly have never been tested and if they have, they’ve been overlooked. Not sure why Mahal hasn’t been tested properly, as he’s far from being on par with the aforementioned names in just that short list. I don’t care what Jinder Mahal claims, the guy is fucking juicing.

What can I say about the recent storyline between Maryse, The Miz, Cena and Nikki Bella? Well, I can say that The Miz and Maryse have kicked serious ass and making it actually enjoyable. The two of them have made Cena fun again. Their portrayl and mocking of the plastic relationship couple has been, in my opinion, accurate portrayal of how robotic and boring Cena truly is as a person. I know what y’all are thinking, Total Diva’s/Bella’s is scripted, and although yes it is, I doubt that the WWE would allow their top guy to actually be like this and showing what he’s really like in his everyday life. Cena comes off as a pompous, control freak, and uncaring asshole. The portrayal of Cena and Bella sparked the predictable path that would lead to their WrestleMania 33 mixed-tag team match. Maryse and The Miz would portray that dry and boring couple that is Cena and Nikki, while adding their comedic side to the two and sometimes four roles, as even Brie and Daniel Bryan were portrayed at one point. I have no problem with Brie and Daniel Bryan, but I have zero respect for Nikki Bella who would give up her dreams for a man who isn’t willing to give those dreams to a woman he proclaims to love.

miz maryse

What bothered me about the match was, The Miz and Maryse needed the win more than Cena and Bella did. If it was just a catalyst to lead to Cena’s proposing to Nikki, then it still wasn’t necessary to have them go over. Macho Man and Elizabeth reunited at WrestleMania 7 in 1991, despite Macho Man’s loss to the Ultimate Warrior, and it did not take away from the emotional reunion. So even if Cena and Nikki were to have lost, they could have still had their moment, which if you asked me was as phony as they are as people. Within a few days after Cena “proposing” to Nikki, the twin was on mulitple morning shows talking about all the wedding planning they have already taken steps towards. If they just got engaged on Sunday, and then a day or two later, were already talking about their cake tasting, then clearly they were engaged already. I’m not doubting their engagement, I am doubting whether or not it is genuine or a business arrangement. Afterall money does talk to Nikki Bella. So moving on, because frankly Cena and Nikki make me want to fucking throw-up.

So lets talk about the draft and the shake up that has taken place. Last year we saw some strong moves in the draft which separated the two shows, RAW and SmackDown. The draft that took place last year wasn’t the first time the WWE has done a draft and separated the two shows and wrestlers, however, I don’t think it was really done right. One show was always more stacked then the other, which made the second show the weaker show. This time, they seemed to have made moves that were more evened out and allowed superstars to have more opportunities than what they wouldn’t have necessairly have if there was no draft. Makes me wonder where would Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes be if they had just stayed on for an additional year. In the last year, we saw Naomi capture her first Women’s Championship which was long overdue, and the same with Bray Wyatt. He was crowned WWE World Champion and was part of main eventing WrestleMania 33. But alas, that was last year, and we are here in the now. So the “Shake-Up” took place over the past two days on both RAW and SmackDown, and we saw some decent moves with the following;

To RAW from SmackDown: Alexa Bliss, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, The Miz, Maryse, and Mickie James. Also to RAW from SmackDown less signficant moves of; Apollo Crews, Curt Hawkins, Goldust, R-Truth, Heath Slater, Rhyno, and Kalisto. Announcer David Otunga.

To SmackDown from RAW: Kevin Owens, Charlotte, Sami Zayn and New Day. Also to SmackDown from RAW less significant moves of; Rusev, Lana, Epico, Primo, Sin Cara and the return of Tamina Snuka who was not drafted last year as she was out due to injury. Announcer Byron Saxton.

Why do I feel that some moves are insignifant? Well lets face it, -Curt Hawkins even coming back was a condundrum in my opinion. He never did anything worthy talking about during his first run and he isn’t doing anything worth talking about now. A complete waste. -Goldust & R-Truth haven’t been relavent in quite sometime. -Heath Slater & Rhyno has fleeting moments of moderate success with short-term gimmicks. Sadly has dragged Rhyno down with him. -Kalisto would have had a decent run if they hadn’t moved Sin Cara over to SmackDown. This does allow him to join the 205 crew, but other than that, Kalisto will no longer be fed to Baron Corbin but insteasd will be a snack for Braun Strowman instead. MMM tastes like a burrito. -David Otunga moving is horrible. If they were going to move him at all, it should have been out the door. He’s not a good commentator, or wrestler. I don’t see him doing well on the RAW commentating team, if anything, his presence with that team is likely going to make Corey Graves stock plummit. Graves has done an amazing job commentating and I can see his career being long term as he always improves.

To SmackDown from RAW acquistions seem a little stronger than some of the crap that moved to RAW. -Rusev and Lana look to be split up, albeit on the same roster. A vignette aired showing Lana separetly from her real-life husband Rusev. Although might be good for her to start getting in-ring work and experience, it’s going to drag Rusev’s stock way down as he is basically nothing without her. He hasn’t had anything really significant in the last few months and nobody seems to care about him as much. -The Shining Stars Epico & Primo. The end. No one cares. -Sin Cara being moved away from the cruiserweight division and the potential reuniting with former tag partner, Kalisto, is a waste of a move. He is much more valuable with Kalisto and/or with the 205 crew. Now he’ll replace Kalisto as Baron Corbin’s meal. -Byron Saxton, I find is also a waste as he had better chemistry with Michael Cole and Graves over on RAW. I wonder how long he’ll last under JBL’s eye and mouth. Seeing as the strength of the team, Mauro, has left the WWE because of JBL’s constant bullying. Whose to say that the same won’t happen to Saxton? He’s not a bad commentator, and is stronger in the booth that Tom Phillips who seems to have taken Mauro’s place.

As for all the big moves that have taken place, it’ll make for interesting television and matches. Lets keep an eye on these moves and maybe next year come back and see how well this round of drafts or shake-ups did.

I don’t really want to drag on and on. I feel I already have. But I’ll take a brief time to catch up with what’s going on in my life. Back in October, I took my daughter, River who was 20 months old at the time to Hamilton Comicon where she and I had our picture taken with WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley. She’s met her first wrestler. Lol!! The fight to end whale and dolphin in captivity continues. It’s an uphill battles with a few wins for these amazing animals. Just two weeks ago, my paternal grandmother passed away after a long drawn out struggle with multiple strokes and other issues. After watching her struggle and suffer with breathing and not truly living for a few days, when she finally passed it became a relief. I will miss her. I’ve lost two grandparents in a span of 11 months. It’s been a rough year. My daughter turned 2 years old in February, and is funny, smart, stubborn, active, and beautiful. She loves her superheroes, and her Octonauts, and her Wiggles. We took her to see The Wiggles at Hamilton Place in October and she was so shocked and in constant awe at seeing them in real life. Also, Lachy, the purple wiggle waved to her. Totally made her day. Lol!! She’s growing so fast. I sometimes wish I could stop time and just stare at her and keep her as she is now.

River

Are you ready for WRESTLEMAAAAANIAAAAAAA?!!! Probably not, lol. Doesn’t look to be a strong event but none the less us loyal and maybe even stupid fans will still tune in, and then one of two things will happen; we will either be surprised and love it or we will shit all over it. I doubt there will be any inbetween. So doubt it. Lol!!

As you can see not only did we kick-off the Mania blog with an “In Memory Of” but we kicked it off with two. Probably not the most well known to most of us North Americans is the first one; Japanese Professional Wrestler, Eiji Ezaki, also known as Hayabusa. He lead a wonderful career that ended too soon when he went to do a top rope moonsault and landed on his head, paralyzing him. He then began a music career and was suppose to meet a friend and bar tender on the night of his death, but never showed up. He died of a subarachnoid hemorrhage. He was 47.

Hayabusa

Gary Lee Fulton wrestled in North America under the name Journeyman Charles Fulton. He began his career in 1968 and worked right until 1992. He even worked for the World Wrestling Federation at one point. His wife stated that he had been dealing with a bad heart for about 30 years, but it finally killed him when he died of Congestive Heart Failure.

Charles Fulton

Kris Travis was a British wrestler who may not be super well known to North American fans, but was well loved and respected among the global wrestling community. Such a young soul to be taken from the world, he passed away this past Thursday after losing his battle to stomach cancer.

Kris Travis

So now with all that sad stuff out the way, on to the other sad stuff…Talk of WrestleMania. Enjoy the read peeps….

Fotor20150515

Hey everyone, how are we doing today? I can’t believe March is over already and Easter too! I hope everyone had a great Easter(if you celebrated it). My Easter was good. I actually went home a few days before Easter to celebrate my birthday and Easter with my family. It was very nice! We went out to this nice restaurant in Guelph. It was a nice visit! I also got my teeth cleaned too! Lol Anyway lets get on with some wrestling.

First I’m going to talk about something positive! I went to see Jake The Snake Robert’s show at a comedy club in St. Catharines. Yeah it was such an honour to see his show! He really had some funny stories from the road. He also talked about his struggle with his life and how he has changed for the better! He is a remarkable guy and he is actually really down to earth! If you get a chance to see him do his show, please do so! You won’t be sorry! I will probably see him again in June when he is at Niagara Falls Comic Con along with Shawn Michaels and Ricky Steamboat.

Now it is time to get into the negative stuff…WrestleMania 32. I don’t know about you guys but this card looks pretty bad. There are only really two matches I want to see on this PPV and that is Dean Ambrose vs Brock Lesnar and Charlotte vs Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch. Those seem to be the ones that I am really interested in! That’s pretty bad. First off I want to say Dean Ambrose should be the WWE World Champion. He shouldn’t of lost against Triple H at the Roadblock a few weekends ago. He actually won the match but the ref said his feet were under the ropes?! I don’t know, it was a close one. But anyway Dean should be in the main event, it shouldn’t be Roman Reigns. Don’t get me wrong I do like Roman but he shouldn’t be in the main event at WM 32.

The three-way for the Divas championship is going to be a great wrestling match! I wouldn’t be shocked if this match steals the show! We all know all three of these women can wrestle and if WWE lets them put on a great 20 minute match I’m sure the fans will love that! I’m hoping for good things to come out of this match! I hope I don’t get disappointed!

Now onto the WWE World Championship match between Roman Reigns vs Triple H. I don’t really see Triple H going over in this match. Too be honest the majority of the fans will be cheering on Triple H in this match. Even though he is the heel, it is WWE’s fault for shoving Roman down our throats. The fans don’t want to see this match and Vince thinks we do. So what ever! Lol

I don’t know what’s going to happen between Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker in a Hell in the Cell match. If Shane wins he gets control of RAW, if The Undertaker loses he can’t wrestle at WrestleMania anymore. Well for one thing I don’t want to see The Undertaker lose. I don’t think it would be right for Shane McMahon to beat The Undertaker. The Undertaker is WrestleMania. I know he has lost one match against Brock at WM and that should only be it. He shouldn’t have to lose to Shane. But I guess we will see what happens. If Shane does win control of RAW that could be good too I suppose. But I guess we will see what happens.

Those are the top matches, there are more matches but to be honest I just don’t really care to write about them. Chris Jericho vs AJ Styles will be good, but we have already seen it so many times already! Lol

Anyway that’s it for me, enjoy the PPV is you’re going to watch it! See you next time! Have a nice day!

bootcamp

***The views and opinions expressed in “Boot Camp” are strictly my own and do not in any way reflect those of WWE, TNA, the whiny fanboys of the IWC, or any other group that I might inadvertently piss off! But….If you’re gonna get all emo over it, then run home to your mommy, curl up in the fetal position and cry salty tears into your fucking Ovaltine!!***

**THIS ARTICLE IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY**

BOOT CAMP

OOOOOOOHHHHH, Fatal 4-Way!!! Don’t you dare be sour. Clap for your friendly neighborhood Sarge….and feel the POWWWEERRRRRR!!

It’s the Boot Camp, yes it is!

Actually, people….forget that whole “clap” thing. I’ve heard “the clap” can be some nasty shit. Always wear protection, guys! Seriously. The New Day with all their hip gyrations and talking about clap. That’s just sick to actually come out in front of a national television audience and glamourize venereal diseases like that. I thought WWE was rated PG. Someone ought to take those silly llama dicks off of New Day’s heads and slap some Trojans on those fuckers STAT!

Hahaha…oh, that was great. But, all joking aside, welcome to the WrestleMania 32 edition of Sarge’s Boot Camp! One more time!! Here we are to have a little fun talking about this year’s Showcase of the Immortals. Let’s skip the formalities and get this bitch rolling, shall we?

Now, long-time fans of the Boot Camp will know that every WrestleMania edition, I like to post my list of completely random thoughts and talking points known as “RandomMania”. Well, there have been rumblings within the team that this year may be our final run as the Fatal 4-Way. With that said, this year’s WrestleMania edition could very well be our last one. Sure, we’ve had some fun with the randomness in the past, but this time, I wanted to have a good solid game plan going into this big issue. What better subject matter to discuss than the matches themselves?

First off, we have the Kick-Off show, featuring the 3rd Annual Andre The Giant Battle Royal. Not to crap all over the legacy of Andre, but this Battle Royal is really just a way of throwing every mid-low card schlub who didn’t already have a match on the main card into a match that some people might even forget about or miss entirely (being on the pre-show and all). Honestly, not having the Andre the Giant Battle Royal as a match featured on the main WrestleMania card and dumping it to the Kick-Off show is kind of a slap in the face to Andre in the first place. However, that’s only my opinion. It’s sad to think that WWE uses this match as filler rather than as a fitting tribute as it was meant to be.

Coming up next, we have the WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match. Huge match! Huge opportunity for any of the participants. Any of them….except maybe a small few who have no business being anywhere near the fucking ring during the match. I’m talking about Zack Ryder, Sin Cara and Stardust. What the actual fuck were they thinking slapping three of the roster’s most lovable losers into the picture for a title shot at something none of them deserve. Stardust should be wasting everyone’s time in the Andre Battle Royal. Sin Cara should have turned heel and be feuding with Kalisto for the US title in a jealousy angle that started with the end of the Lucha Dragons tag team when Sin Cara turned on his more successful fellow luchador. Zack Ryder should have stayed hyped with that goofy bastard Mojo Rawley back in NXT and be watching Mania from the locker room. Is this possibly due to the amount of injured superstars who could have been more legitimate participants in this match? Things that make you go……bbbbllllaaarrrffffff!!!

Moving on….let’s talk a minute about AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho. This is one of the matches I am really looking forward to. I was a little leary of seeing AJ Styles in a WWE ring at first, but he is growing on me. The fact that Chris Jericho has been all up in AJ’s chili since the Royal Rumble has sort of kept Styles back, if you ask me. It’s just Jericho all the time. I will be glad to see this feud die, and hopefully it will happen this Sunday. When it does finally end, it only makes sense for AJ Styles to move on with the final victory over Y2J. Or, is it….Y2Jackass?? That kills me every time! I can’t believe nobody came up with it sooner. AJ Styles sounds like a little mop-topped Stone Cold right there. LOL

What’s next? Oh, right. The Uso’s vs. The Dudley Boyz. I say The Usos are going to take this simply because The Dudley Boyz seem to have become the latest victims of WWE’s lack of creativity. They have had Bubba Ray and D’von turn away from what they have been known for their entire careers (putting people through tables) and it honestly just makes them an average tag team. There is no more anticipation of if/when the tables will come out. Face it….The Dudleys are just “duds” now. The Usos are far more colorful and entertaining. The Dudleys kind of suck now, but it’s really not even their fault. At least they can say they are still better than The Ascension. I don’t recall Konnor and Viktor winning a match since maybe a couple months after their main roster debut.

If you ask me, the WWE United States Championship match between Kalisto and Ryback makes about as much sense as an airplane being wrecked by hitting a deer. I don’t see the reasoning behind it except to give Ryback something to do that night. He just sort of showed up and has been in Kalisto’s grill…basically acting as a bully. Kudos to WWE for promoting an anti-bullying campaign and then promoting one of their superstars who is being a bully. #WWELogic makes my damn head hurt sometimes!

Remember when I talked about the Andre the Giant Battle Royal being used a filler and a way to give people who had nothing better going on to have a match at WrestleMania? Well, here is another such case. The 5-on-5 Diva’s Match. This thing is a clusterfuck in every sense. All they did was take five of the cast members of Total Divas and team them against five other “heel” Divas. Here’s the funny part….they put Eva Marie as a member of the Total Divas team, which is essentially the “face” team in this match. Eva Marie is universally hated in NXT, and for good reason. She stinks on ice, people! Seriously. She has all the wrestling ability of a pair of Luke Harper’s dirty underwear. Got that visual now? You’re welcome. You might say you really didn’t need it, but admit it! You did! You totally DID!! Anyway, aside from maybe Natalya and Paige, this match will be a huge waste of time, but I know WWE is always looking out for the fans. This will be our cue to make a trip to the shitter and have some time to refill our beer and nachos….or whatever you might be stuffing down your face holes during the show. It won’t be a total waste of time as long as you use that time wisely. Fuck, for all I care, go and have a quickie in the bedroom! I won’t judge.

The No Holds Barred Street Fight between Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar is going to be a mess. I have to say I have liked the build-up for this match simply because Ambrose is ridiculous and a lot of fun to watch. I know a lot of you don’t share that opinion, but hey….whatever. This match will be ugly, no doubt. I am sure Ambrose will make it fun in the process as he carries Lesnar’s lumbering carcass around the arena. I mean, as much fun as a No Holds Barred Street Fight is going to be, anyway.

Next up, we have The New Day vs. League of Nations in a 4 on 3 handicap tag match. Everyone is saying The New Day is at a disadvantage for once because they are in the unique situation of being outnumbered. Sure, I can believe that. What I don’t believe in is that The League of “Booty” still has any chance of winning. The New Day have proven themselves to be very resourceful and sneaky…even willing to cheat when necessary to get the win. I hope they do, and not just because I chose them in my predictions. The League of Nations is just so dull, I am praying for the day this faction goes the way of the Dodo and we never EEEEEEEEEEVERRRRR see or hear from it…… A-GAIN!!

Let’s just get the WWE World Heavyweight Championship talk over with so we can get it out of our mouths for good. If you ask me, Triple H becoming the World Champion at the Royal Rumble was probably the best thing to come out of this feud. He is the lesser of two evils seeing how Roman Reigns is so widely disliked by the WWE fans and the IWC sheep. I really don’t hate Roman, but I also do not want to see him as champion. This is a long shot, but with Dean Ambrose having crossed paths with Triple H at WWE Roadblock, and Reigns currently facing off against The Authority….what would happen if say, Seth Rollins makes his return during the World title match after Ambrose runs down to interfere. However, Rollins then turns on The Authority and The Shield reunites to powerbomb Triple H through the announce table and effectively put The Authority off TV for a long time. This would also help to tie into another scenario if Shane McMahon gains control of Monday Night RAW, it would give The Authority that “excuse” they’d need for an extended leave of absence from WWE programming.

Another match I am actually looking forward to seeing is the WWE Diva’s Championship Triple Threat Match. I think the main reason why I am so eager to see this match is because there is a good chance that a new champion will be crowned. I am getting a little tired of Ric Flair involving himself in Charlotte’s matches. It cheapens her status as a legitimate champion, but I guess that’s part of the point. I think it’s just a way to allow Naitch to be at ringside to ogle and grope Charlotte’s opponents under the guise of “interference”. No disrespect to the two-time Hall of Famer, but it’s just getting creepy now. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what happens in the Women’s division after WrestleMania. I have heard the entire division is being revamped and the term “Diva” is no longer going to be used. Also, I have seen an article that states the fruity butterfly title belt is going away. About fucking time!! There is a lot at stake in this Triple Threat match, and with these proposed changes coming soon, there is a lot to look forward to in the Women’s division in the coming weeks

What can be said that hasn’t already been said about Shane McMahon and The Undertaker? This has to be the biggest match of the night. It’s even bigger than the World Heavyweight Championship match is the sheer magnitude of what hangs in the balance. If The Undertaker wins, Shane is gone for good. If Shane wins, he gains complete control over Monday Night RAW and The Undertaker is finished. As much as it makes sense for Taker to murder Shane inside that cell, I hope that’s not the case. The ramifications of a Shane McMahon victory far outweigh the results of any other outcome. Shane promises the dawn of a new WWE if he gains control. This is the kind of change that the company is in extremely dire need of. That said, WWE logic would dictate Shane loses at Mania, and the same shit will continue as normal. Shane losing this Sunday will be deeply disappointing for me personally because I am hoping to see this change that he has described in the past month. Shane loses, then all that big talk was nothing more than, well….talk. We get nothing out of this except maybe a match that is really hard to watch in some cases. The promise of brutality in this match is astronomical. We got a taste of that on RAW last Monday night when Shane performed his trademark “Leap of Faith” from the ring post to the announcer’s table. Fans new and old ate that shit up like it was the best thing they’d seen in nearly a decade, and….they were probably right. Unfortunately for Shane, the cell will be between him and the announcer’s table in his match against The Undertaker. The only way he can do his flying elbow drop onto The Deadman at WrestleMania is if he pulls a Mick Foley and jumps off the top of the cell itself. This isn’t the Attitude Era, and I doubt WWE will allow anyone to put themselves in harm’s way to that extent these days. Who knows? I guess we will have to wait and see how this all goes down.

The Skirt Sheet

Welcome to the WrestleMania edition of The Skirt Sheet. All things WrestleMania, mixed in with some bitching. I aim to please, lol. So Imma gonna shut it and get to bidness.

So Fastlane back in February was a predictable joke. What transpired since then shows that the direction the WWE is going is, well all over the bloody place. Nobdy knows where to go or what they’re doing. If the WWE higher-ups would just listen to their talent and their fans, thigns might look better than this current WrestleMania 32 card.

First Mistake: Not following through on a storyline that they started between Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar. They started it, but just sort of put it on the back burner. Both guys are apparently very unhappy with this, and were open about it. If Brock Lesnar was put into the title picture at WrestleMania to help with the lack of top teer talent who are all out on injuries, then it would be a different story, but he’s not. He’s in a program with the lunatic fringe, Dean Ambrose. WWE should finsih what they started, and that was suppose to be Wyatt vs. Lesnar. The Wyatt’s aren’t even really involved in WrestleMania, so they will likely involve themselves in the match between Lesnar and Ambrose, either during or after.

Second Mistake: Putting a guy the fans clearly hate in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match and shoving him, ala John Cena, down our throats. Despite being a babyface, the fans have been crapping all over Roman Reigns since the first time he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It’s been so bad they had to take him off of television for a while, and create fake injury and surgery in hopes the fans would find sympathy with Reigns. It didn’t work. The heat is still on Reigns, and Triple H who is suppose to be the heel is getting all the cheers no matter what he does. The more the WWE tries to get the fans behind Reigns, the more they hate him. He may look like a champion, may even have the work ethic, but he cannot talk worth shit and what does come out of his mouth is so cocky and fake sounding, that he’s lost majority of his supporters. What the fans clearly wanted was for Dean Ambrose to be against Triple H at WrestleMania 32. They aren’t getting what they want and have been begging for. They want Ambrose as champion.

Dean Ambrose continues to have great matches, including the one teaser/taste of Ambrose vs. Triple H at Roadblock in Toronto, and he’s hot with the crowds. It’s been awhile since the fans have found someone to really get behind. I mean truly get behind. I’m not talking the brainwashing the WWE had to do with Cena, by catering to all children, horny teenage females, and the young homosexuals, but this time the true, hardcore and faithful, long-time fans have found someone they want. That they want to see succeed since CM Punk. Ambrose is serious, yet exhudes a dry sense of humour that mature fans love, and has mad mic skills, in-ring ability, and charisma.

I get the WWE is scrambling to fill holes that have been left from the injured superstars, and that list is rather extensive; Seth Rollins, John “Barf” Cena, Randy Orton, Neville, Sting, Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, and Daniel Bryan, and even Nikki Bella. Daniel Bryan’s officially retired from wrestling due to all his injuries. It’s sad because he was such a solid worker, and truly loved this business. He was an amazing draw and had a lot a head of him. His career was definitley amazing but full of hardships. Must suck to get to the top and then have to let go of everything because you’re plagued by injuries. I feel for him and will miss him. Tyson Kidd might be in a smiliar situation after suffering a major neck injury. He’s such a talented in-ring performer who still has much to add to his accomplishments. As a huge fan of Tyson’s, I don’t want his career to end now. I want to see him soar and reach great heights. Neville is the recent addition to the list of injured superstars after suffering a broken ankle in his match against Chris Jericho a few weeks back. Jericho apparently got pissed off at referee Charles “lil’ Naitch” Robinson for not stopping the match. Either way, Neville’s WrestleMania is ruined, as I’m sure he was scheduled to be a part of the ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship.

Side Note: On RAW Last Week, before it was even announced….

I called it! Just saying!

For the record, it’s not cocky if I can back it up. Lol!

A major question is, how will the WWE manage to fill up a 4-hour show? With the lack of talent right now, they’re scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Why would they even attempt the Andre The Giant Battle Royal? And why put it on the pre-show? They can’t possibly have enough superstar power to fill that one match. So far they have yet to really show that they do have the talent. So far it’s past winner Big Show, Kane, The Social Outcast, Tyler Breeze, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Fandango (where the fuck has he been lately??), Damine Sandow (see Fandango side note), Darren Young (Fandango note), Konnor, Viktor, Goldust, and R-Truth. Aside from Tyler Breeze, who should have been in the ladder match and Zack Ryder in this shit-hole of a match, the line-up sucks. I think I just answered my own question as to why this is on the pre-show. Because no one watches the fucking pre-show. Breeze in the battle royal and Ryder in the ladder match? That’s horrible, then again the WWE isn’t exactly known for their excellent booking strategy.

If there ever was an ample opportunity to showcase the NXT talent, it’s at WrestleMania. At Roadblock, they had the NXT tag team champions The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) vs. Big Cass & Enzo Amore, and they put on a wonderful match. It was one of the better matches at Roadblock.

If stars from NXT are used at WrestleMania, it will all depend on what happens at NXT Take Over Dallas two nights before Mania. They would likely be used in the Battle Royal as fillers. I guess we will find out.

Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar will be in a “No Holds Barred” “Street Fight”. Why all the quoation marks you ask, well… For starters, isn’t a “street fight” already “no holds barred”? And, isn’t a “street fight” suppose to take place in the street and not start in the ring? Lets face it, it’s been a very long time since a WWE “street fight” has started anywhere but in the ring and stayed mostly in the ring. Not very street like is it? O it’s not technically a street fight. Remember that strange, yet epic street fight between Goldust and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper at WrestleMania 12? That wasn’t even billed as a street fight, I think they called it a Hollywood Backlot brawl, or something. Either way, it took place mostly outside of the ring, and even included a tacky OJ Simpson-like car chase. Yes it eventually ended up in the ring, but it started in the “streets”. I would love to see something like that happen, minus Lesnar in women’s underwear. Yuck! I think I just puked in my mouth. No matter what, it should be a solid match. Afterall, legend Mick Foley gave Ambrose “Barbie” and Terry Funk gave him a chainsaw. I’m actually looking forward to this one.

I’m also looking forward to the WWE Diva’s Championship triple threat match between champion, Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. These ladies have some serious in-ring talent. It’s nice to see them get a chance to showcase it. I would love to see Becky Lynch take the title. She never had the chance to be NXT Women’s Champion, so this would be a sweet way for her to become champion. I’m just not sure we will see a title change here. Also, wouldn’t now be a great time to retire the stupid Diva’s championship and bring back and restore the damage legacy to the former Women’s Championship belt? Thank-you Michelle McCool, Layla and Candice Michelle for ruining a belt that great women once held. Fucking twat waffles!

**Addition: According to the wrestling dirt sheets, there is a major rumour going around that this Monday after WrestleMania, there will no longer be a Diva’s Championship title belt but a brand new Women’s Championship title belt that is apparently similiar in design to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt but smaller and on a white strap. May I just say, Thank-God!

I tweeted the WWE that I would pay them if they did NOT book Kalisto vs. Ryback for WrestleMania 32. Needless to say, I don’t have to pay them. I’ve got nothing against Kalisto, but I don’t see Ryback as a good wrestler. He’s good at injuring people because he’s fucking sloppy. I wouldn’t be surpried if he was the one behind half the injuries on the list above of injured superstars.

They apparently booked a 5-on-5 diva’s match to allow the other diva’s to get paid. If a match gets bumped, it’ll likely be this one, and I’m ok with that. This one is complete shit! SHIT I say!! Summer Rae, Lana, Emma, Tamina, and Naomi against, Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, Natalya, Paige, and Eva Marie. They ran out of diva’s on the main roster that they had to bring up Eva Marie from the NXT roster. A self-proclaimed female wrestler with the ability of a spatcula and the fans hate her. Not that the talent in this match is any better. Aside from Natalya, Paige, Emma and Naomi, the rest can’t really wrestle. Tamina, isn’t horrible but she’s nothing but power moves, and lack of skill and corridination. You watch her, after she slams someone, she generally just stands over them like waiting for something to come to her to do next. Lana has never even had a match before. Her last feud was with Summer Rae and now they’re like all buddy-buddy? Alicia Fox is sloppy. Not Ryback sloppy but pretty damn sloppy. The worst part is I want to like her but I can’t. Brie Bella. What can I say about Brie Bella? As a person outside of the ring, I really like her. I like that she’s down to earth and environmentally cautious and such. In the ring, she’s fucking horrible. She knows 5-moves! 2 are her hubby’s movies, the yes lock and the kicks, then she has the drop kick which she can do from standing and the top rope (bravo, that still counts as one fucking move), the Bella Buster, and a clothes-line (every woman should know how to use a clothes-line, sorry not a femminist here). So yes this will suck. We will just lable this Vince’s Boner match for all you fellas. For me it’s go pee match number two. Right behind Ryback vs. Kalisto.

For go pee match number three it’s the Dudley’s vs. The Uso’s. I’ll be letting out some alcohol during these three matches.

Since I’ve already talked about Triple H vs. Roman Reigns and how this will likely end in a way that people are pissed right off, I’ll go to the more important match, which I would like to call the “What were they thinking?” Match.

Hell In A Cell! Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker. If Shane O’ Mac wins, he gets control of RAW, and if Undertaker loses, this will be his LAST WrestleMania. Which could very well be his retirement match. Shall we start from the beginning? I’m a huge Undertaker fan. I’ve never wanted him to lose at WM. Pretty sure I’ve made that quite clear in the past. I’m also a fan of Shane O’Mac’s. I marked out huge over his return. I was so excited that it took me a few days to really digest what the fuck just happened. The Undertaker can’t and shouldn’t lose to Shane McMahon, yet, the WWE needs Shane badly for television. So now what? Undertaker deserves a better retirement match and should be against someone who truly deserves this honour. Triple H comes to mind. You can’t have a count-out or a disqualification in a Hell In A Cell match. You have to have a clear winner. But who? Admittingly, this isn’t an easy match to predict, however, judging from some of the rumours circulating, the WWE is preparing a brand-split. Again. RAW vs. SmackDown. This suggests that Shane McMahon is walking out the winner. My buddy thinks it’ll be Shane going over and Undertaker “retiring” but then Shane re-hires him. Darren doesn’t think that the Undertaker will go out with little to know fan-fare and the match he deserves. Although I agree that Undertaker deserves a better retirement match, with all the bells and whistles, I could see the man behind the Undertaker being the type to prefer to retire quietly. I guess all we can do is wait and find out. I’ll have tissue ready just in case. Lol! I have these ones that have a cool touch. It’s awesome. I’m looking forward to this match, I just wish it was a bit different for both men. I do like the fact that it’s not all that predictable.

Should be an interesting event. As always I’ll be throwing a small party. I just hope it doesn’t completely suck. My prediction for RAW the night after is that we will likely see Bayle, and Samoa Joe OR Finn Balor on the main roster. Guess that depends on what happens at NXT Take Over.

As always, enjoy the event, whether you’re at home or in Dallas at WrestleMania, either way have fun and stay safe. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

The Skirt Sheet

This will be a very short edition of the Skirt Sheet. I’m sick and hardly in the mood to even do a blog this week. So I’m going to shut it and get to bidness…

Sasha Banks and Bayley are really making it hard for me to decide which one of their matches is going to be match of the year. Congratulations to the both of them for putting on one hell of a main event at NXT TakeOver: Respect. Triple H and Stephanie need to push the WWE roster diva’s to step it up and put on matches like this and maybe just maybe the current diva’s might have a bit more respect as well. Because twice now, Sasha and Bayley has humiliated the Bella Twins, Alicia Fox, Naomi, Tamina, Paige, Natalya, Summer Rae, etc.. They all need to step it up. There is no excuse for Naomi, Paige, Natalya to have shit matches. None. Just as we know that Charlotte and Becky Lynch have no excuse to have shit matches. The problem is, the moment girls from NXT, like Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks, make their way to the main roster, they are told to tone it down so that the other diva’s, like the Bella’s, can keep up. I can just see it know, Nikki going to John, “it’s not fair, I can’t work with these girls. They make me look like crap. Can you talk to Hunter and Stephanie?” Of course he does, “tell those NXT girls to hold back. Nikki can’t keep up.” Hunter/ Stephanie… “girls, we need you to hold back a little. Just for now.”. They are completely missing the problem that most of their main roster diva’s shouldn’t even be there. Nikki isn’t so bad in the ring but if I have to watch Brie Bella get in the ring and attempt to wrestle, I may just claw my own eyes out. It’s like watching a tooth pick running from a rolling pin.

Same can be said for the male superstars. We all know that Neville, and Owens can out wrestle 80% of the current roster, yet, they’re not. We’ve seen guys like Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, Wade Barrett, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, all pull back and not work a match like they own that ring. Guys who have left because they weren’t getting matches, despite the fact they could out wrestle John Cena on every level. Justin Gabriel comes to mind. WWE is notorious for wasting talent.

This past Monday, RAW received one of its lowest ratings in a long long time. 2.1, I believe. Despite having, The Undertaker, Stone Cold, and douche bag (aka Shawn Michaels), on the same show. This is the time that the WWE needs to re-think what the hell is wrong, and fix the damn thing.

So apparently John Cena and Randy Orton are taking time off. Orton’s already gone, and Cena isn’t. However apparently he is already being booked to defend his US championship on December 26th. At least let him go. I’m so tired of this ass-hat’s face that I don’t want him to ever to return. He sucks!!

My little girl is vastly approaching 9 months in November. Can’t believe how much time has just flown by. For her first Halloween, even though she is too young to go out trick or treating, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to put her into her first costume… A little lamb. One that looks rather bunny-ish.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Halloween. As usual we have our Halloween Party. This year I will be working the room as the “Rowdy” one…Roddy Piper. Minus the blonde short hair. I just can’t rock that look. Lol!! See you next month for Survivor Series. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

Figured I’d leave the intro to Enzo and Big Cass this week and keep it simple because I tried to think about it on my own, and realized that there’s very little about me that can’t be taught. LOL I mean, a lot of things could be taught, but nobody would want to take the classes! Like it or not, “Sarge 101” is off the docket for this semester. There can be only one!!

The world could only handle one of me anyway. It’s better like this. Trust me!

===========================================

While I sit here trying to think of something wrestling related to talk about, I do have an update on the home front. I started working at Walmart last week. I am one of the guys who unload the trucks when they come in and stock the shelves after the supplies have been offloaded and separated by their departments. It’s only been a week, but I am really liking it so far. Aside from the slight issue I am having with adjusting my sleep schedule (I work until 11PM and don’t get to bed until almost 1AM most of the time). It’s not so much a “not getting home by then” problem as it is a “a dude’s gotta eat” problem. That, and the drive home mixed with the rush of just being done with my shift (and grabbing some food because I am always starving after work) gives me a second wind, and I need time to chill out before I can go to bed and actually have any hope of falling asleep.

Sure, I am tired and sore. I’ve felt that way all week, but I am hoping to be more used to it very soon. I’m back to being a productive member of the household and that means my family’s holiday season isn’t going to suck. In fact, I heard my wife already has all our Christmas shopping done. She must be feeling that shift toward the positive that this new job is bringing about in our lives. Our kids will be happier, too, and for that reason alone, I will do whatever it takes to help that become a permanent feature in our lives.

If this year’s Halloween is any indication, things are going to get a lot better around here than they have been in the past six months. About damn time, too! Here are my son and daughter in their costumes. Enjoy……

im3

Kaden loves his Iron Man suit and his gloves light up and make sounds. A bit excessive for a kid’s Halloween costume, but he and Aly use their other costumes for playing “dress up” for the rest of the year. After this year’s trick or treating, they will have one more outfit to put in their bins.

For Halloween this year, I will be dressed as a Walmart associate. Yep, I have to work that night. I hope my wife takes some good pictures.

===========================================

Sorry if I seem like I have been rambling a little bit here, but I am also having some trouble thinking of anything to talk about that has to do with wrestling. Sure, I can talk about NXT TakeOver: Respect and the finale of the Dusty Rhodes tag team tournament…or the fact that a women’s title match headlined a WWE live special for the first time in history. I can, but I won’t because those things have been talked about constantly since that night. It’s been covered, and we all get it. Don’t get me wrong. I think it’s all amazing as Hell. I just don’t want to comment on something that a hundred other people have brought up in the past week. It’s not that I don’t care. I just want to keep things fresh.

===========================================

Aside from it being rather corny and easy to figure out, I have to admit the whole thing between Corporate Kane and Seth Rollins is actually kind of funny. Kane playing both sides of the character (Corporate & Demon Kane) gives the fans what they have been wanting for a while….only in smaller doses. People wanted “masked Kane” to come back when Kane returned from his leg injury. I like the Demon better anyway, but Corporate Kane has become rather comical lately. This is exactly what Rollins needs. Someone to keep him interesting. His shtick is really getting old, and Demon Kane has literally come into the picture to light a fire under Rollins’ ass and make him step it up. I know there isn’t much chance they’ll have Kane win at Hell In A Cell, but it’s been fun since this Corporate/Demon mash-up thing started. It’s hokey and something we may have seen back in the 80’s, but that is where we can find the charm in this whole mess!

===========================================

I used to hate The New Day, but I have really begun to enjoy them since Xavier Woods brought out the trombone. He’s turned every moment he and his group are on screen into a celebration of sheer goofy exuberance. That trombone provides the soundtrack to everything The New Day does, and sadly….that also includes Big E’s pelvic gyrations. Please make it stop!! Don’t make me start a petition. The New Day wanted to “Save The Tables”. I can speak for myself and the rest of my Fatal 4-Way team mates that we may very well begin our own movement…..”Save Our Lunches” to help us not want to lose them every time we see that undulating miscreant on our screens!! In that case, the trombone accompaniment does NOT help make it any better.

Until then………YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

Hey everyone and welcome to another edition of the Royal Thoughts. Man I can’t believe it has been a month since the last time I wrote a blog! A lot has changed in the month for me. I recently quit my job that I was working at for the last 10 years. It was a big move for me. I was offered a new job and I decided to go for it! I just started training this week and I am so far liking it a lot. It is kinda a new thing for me so at times it will be challenging but overall I should do well. I have a great support staff who will be there for me if I need any help. That’s enough of personal life for now so lets talk about some wrestling!

I have to be honest I haven’t really watch much WWE in the last month or so. I just haven’t really been in the mood to watch it. Ever since the new season of TV has started I have been focusing my time watching shows that keep me entertain. Lately WWE hasn’t been doing that. Also I find when I don’t have cable I don’t watch it live. I guess I will have to d/l or stream it. I’m going to try my best to watch some more.

But I still get some wrestling news. I heard John Cena will be leaving for two months(I have to give credit to pwinsider.com). He is doing a TV Show. I’m not too sure what show it is because they are being tight lipped about it. So you know what that means then?! He will be off WWE TV!! Perhaps WWE will actually focus more on their other talent now that he is gone for a couple of months? I doubt it but who knows maybe Vince will see something in a talent that he has never seen?

How cool was it to see James Storm come on NXT the other night?! I was waiting for that jump. In case you didn’t know Storm has been wrestling for TNA for the last few years. I saw him wrestle on TNA for a bit and I thought to myself at the time he would do well if he came over to WWE. Now this is his chance. Well I hope WWE doesn’t drop the ball on him. But I knew he would be part of the WWE family when I read online that he didn’t have an actual contract with TNA anymore earlier this year. I mean it is the right thing to do. You’re looking out for your family first. If someone is going to offer you a good job from where you were working you’re going to take it. You have to thing what’s best for business as Triple H and Stephanie will say! Haha Anyway I wish James Storm the best of luck in NXT!

So I guess I should talk about Hell In The Cell PPV. It is this Sunday. The Main Event is The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar in the Hell In The Cell match. I picked Brock to win. But I wouldn’t be upset if The Undertaker won the match too. Taker is known for this match so I wouldn’t really be surprised if he goes over. But their last match at SummerSlam Taker got the win. So they are even at 1 a piece. This is the tie breaker. I also heard this will be the last match these two guys have too. I mean really you can’t really top that type of match with another match. Unless they were to do a Ladder Match or TLC match. But I think The Undertaker needs to stay away from those types of matches. He’s almost 50 years old. But you know he is still pretty awesome! I’m sure one day The Undertaker will retire. But if he can still put out decent matches why retire right? Also he actually showed up for a house show in Mexico and wrestled! He rarely does that too! So the Mexican fans got a pretty cool treat! I have seen The Undertaker live a few times. It is pretty cool watching him live. His entrance alone is worth the money for admission! So Brock for the win!

Speaking about Brock, I’m not sure what he is going to do after The Undertaker. I wouldn’t mind seeing WWE put him in a program with Kevin Owens. I think that would be pretty awesome! Those two would put on some great matches. Or have him go after the WWE World Championship. If he beats The Undertaker that would make the most sense.

So the WWE World Championship will be defended this Sunday at the PPV. It will be your WWE World Champion Seth Rollins vs Kane. Yay?! Is anyone really looking forward to this match? I mean no offence to Kane but he shouldn’t be in the main event now. It should really be Dolph Ziggler or Roman Reigns. But it isn’t. Oh well. I’m sure this match will be all right but still I’m not really looking forward to it.

One match that I’m kinda curious about is the Open Challenge for the US Championship. John Cena is defending it. But it is a mystery as to who is going to wrestle him. I have three random picks as to who I think is going to challenge Cena 1) James Storm. We know he was just in NXT so wouldn’t it be cool if he showed up to face John Cena and take him out? 2) Chris Jericho These guys have always had great matches and Chris seems to make surprise returns. 3) Jeff Hardy I know it is a long shot but lately with the TNA talent who are leaving it wouldn’t shock me to see Jeff Hardy back in WWE real soon!

There are other matches which are happening at the PPV this Sunday and I gave my predictions below. So you guys should check them out and compare them to my other Fatal 4 Way bloggers!

Also I’m happy to announce that Jake The Snake Roberts will be in Niagara Falls next year for Comic Con. They are announcing five other Legends who will be part of it. I’m pretty sure HBK will be another one. I heard they are announcing it early November. So we shall see!

So that’s it for me for this month Fatal 4 Way! Have a great weekend and enjoy the PPV if you’re going to watch it!

2015 WWE Night Of Champions Predictions & More

Hey hey hey! Another month gone by, and another pay-per-view that we must predict. Seems like no time passes in between these things. Either that or I’m so damn busy that I miss the time. Anyways, away we go….

Fotor20150515

Hello there my Royal Subjects and welcome to another edition of The Royal Thoughts! So it is another PPV weekend again. It is the Night of Champions. I’m first going to write about my thoughts on the last PPV.

I thought SummerSlam was pretty good and entertaining! Seth Rollins ended up retaining the WWE World Championship and winning the United States Championship too! He had a good match with John Cena and they both worked really hard in the match. But here is how Rollins ended up winning he was just about to get a chair and hit Cena but Jon Stewart came down and took away the chair and he hit Cena in the back and Seth ended up winning the match! Everyone went nuts when Stewart hit him. The NYC crowd loved it a lot! So it was a great entertaining moment for sure!

The Undertaker VS Brock Lesnar match was really great as well. The Undertaker ended up winning the match via kicking Brock in the nuts when the ref wasn’t paying attention. But there was a screwy finished before that happened. You see Brock had The Undertaker in a submission and the ref was looking to see if Brock had his shoulders down on the mat but he didn’t see The Undertaker tapping out but the time keeper did and rang the bell. So that confused some people because Brock wasn’t pinned. So the ref said he didn’t call the match finished and was arguing with the time keeper then that’s when Undertaker low bowed him and put him in a submission and Brock passed out while holding up his middle finger to Taker. So I really enjoyed that match a lot.

One more thing about the Brock/Taker match during their match both of them went down then Brock got up and started laughing at Taker then all of the sudden Taker got up and mocked Brock and he started to laugh! It was a moment that made me LOL so much! Now there are so many memes about it! I’m sure Diva will have a few for you to see!

Overall I really did enjoy SummerSlam and it was great that Diva has the WWE Network so we can all come over and watch the PPVs each month! So guess what I’m doing tomorrow night?! Haha Don’t worry Diva I’m bringing a bottle of wine for the occasion!

So the next night on RAW after the PPV aired there were some big surprises. Of course Jon Stewart came out to a big pop and he said the reason why he didn’t want to Cena to win the WWE Heavyweight Championship was because he didn’t want Cena to tie Ric Flair’s number of Championships. Ric is a legend and he didn’t like how the streak was ruin by Brock so he didn’t want to see Ric loose his status as the most title reigns. So this brought out Ric Flair to the ring and he told Stewart that he ruined everything the night before. He said wanted Cena to win the Championship that night because he respects Cena and if anyone was to break his record it should be Cena. Of course a lot of the fans didn’t really like that all. This brought out Cena who was furious with Stewart and they talked for a bit. Cena decided to take out his frustrations with Stewart and gave Stewart the AA in the middle of the ring! That was pretty cool! Haha Anyway I love Jon Stewart he is a great fan of the WWE and he was a great host and I hope they bring him back for WrestleMania next year!

A week before their match at SS Seth Rollins asked Triple H and Stephanie if he defeated John Cena at SS could he get a gold statue of himself and have it at the WWE headquarters in Stamford like the other ones that are there. So they both agreed to it. So the next night on RAW they decided to have this big reveal of the Statue. You knew something was going to be up with that. John Cena was in the back and told Triple H and Stephanie that he wasn’t done with Rollins and that he will see him later that night. Of course they said no he wasn’t going to do that and he was barred from the arena. So was John Cena going to sneak his way back in at the end of the show? Well they had the statue on this dolly and there was curtains covering it up. It was in the middle of the ring. Both Triple H and Stephanie talked about Seth Rollins how he is future of the WWE. Then Rollins was introduced and he had some words too. Then finally it was the big reveal of the Statue. They took the curtains off and it was Sting standing in there instead of the statue! He of course had the baseball bat and went after Seth Rollins! It was pretty cool seeing Sting there. Now they have a match set up at Night of Champions for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship!

That isn’t the only match that Seth has for the night. He will have to face John Cena for the US Championship too. I think John will end up winning his match against Rollins and I believe Rollins will beat Sting at Night of Champions.

Another surprise which happened on RAW was the return of the Dudley Boys! I wasn’t expecting that! It was a great surprise and they took out The New Day when they made their return! They of course will be getting a tag team championship match at Night of Champions. I don’t think they will win that night but I do expect The Dudley Boys to end up winning the championship at some point.

I want to take a second to say how I was impressed with a match between Sasha Banks and Bailey at the NXT Takeover! It was probably one of the best women matches I have ever seen! It was really great work from both of them and it saw Bailey getting the win and NXT Diva Championship. Way to go. I really like Sasha Banks a lot. I think she is a star and a great wrestler too!

I’m a little disappointed with how WWE is handling their Women Revolution on RAW so far. They haven’t really let the NXT women wrestlers who have come up do their thing in the ring. We know they can wrestle but I don’t understand why Vince won’t let them do their thing in the ring?! It just boggles my mind! But of course there is a lot of stuff that goes on WWE TV that boggles my mind a lot too! So it isn’t just that one area! Oh well. I hope it will eventually change.

Anyway that’s it for me this week! I hope you enjoy the PPV if you’re watching it!

BOOT CAMP

Ladies and gentlemen…..troopers of all ages….how’s it hangin’?

It’s good to be back once again here in the old Boot Camp. I want to take a minute before we get rolling to apologize for being such a downer in my last edition. Sure, everything I talked about came right from my heart, but it was definitely not a fun read. Not my usual fare, to say the least. I guess I had been through a ton of shit in the weeks leading up to that moment, and I feel good enough about our writer/reader relationship that I just opened up and got it all off my chest. It may take a while, but I am going to try my best to make it up to you.

Things have improved greatly in the past couple of months, and although I have not gone back to work quite yet, I have been relaxing and taking some time to be a father to my kids. Sure, my wife is going nuts and is basically pissed that I am here all the time now, but until I go back to another job….she’s stuck with me. The kids love spending the time with me, and I love spending it with them. I love making them smile and laugh because it’s so good for my soul. It has helped me heal on a spiritual level, and it all just makes me love them even more. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!

========================================

I need to let you know ahead of time that this “Night of Champions” edition of Sarge’s Boot Camp is going to be a little on the short side. I have been brainstorming all day, and honestly haven’t been able to come up with much that I feel I could talk about at length. But, it’s not length that matters. Right, ladies?

Hey, I’m joking! The Sarge has never needed to make excuses where it counts.

Wow, where the Hell was I going with that? Hmmm…..let’s just move on, shall we?

========================================

I don’t know what possessed Sheamus to cut his hair into a Mohawk and start wearing metal dingleberries in his beard, but I am sure he has a good reason. All the fans can do is chant “You look stupid!”. The fans don’t know shit! I agree…Sheamus looks a little “different”, but I wouldn’t call him stupid. Let’s face it. He’s not exactly Mantaur. Or the Gobbledy Gooker. You wanna talk about stupid looking MF’rs? Those two make Sheamus look like GQ material.

========================================

On a side note, I am typing this article on a Friday night. There is no wrestling on, and I do not have any shows to browse through on my DVR. So, I am watching a movie on Netflix about a guy who has a little monster living inside his rectum. Yes, you read that correctly. I couldn’t make this up.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXJ-7oJ9cqA

========================================

WWE’s logic is once again confusing me all to Hell. Brock Lesnar VS The Undertaker was all the rage leading into SummerSlam. On RAW the following night, Paul Heyman and Lesnar came out to address the outcome of the match and claim that there will be a rematch to set the record straight. One week later, and there are barely two words mentioned about Lesnar or Undertaker at all. All that has been advertised since is a WWE Network special that will air live from Madison Square Garden featuring Brock Lesnar, and his opponent will be……The…….Big…….Show!!???

Huh??

How and why should that need to happen? What beef does Show have with Lesnar? The whole thing makes no sense. That is, unless they plan to have Taker interfere once again like he did at Battleground….and that will be boring, not to mention somewhat predictable. You can always tell when someone is going to come out and get involved when a guy feuding with someone is booked in a match against someone who they have absolutely no business facing to begin with. It happens all the time!

========================================

I was so busy going on about my recent funk that I totally forgot to mention something that has developed in my life in the past month. We got a new internet provider for the house and we can now stream Netflix as well as WWE Network!! Yeah, I can now watch NXT every Wednesday and all the PPVs again. I have to be honest…..this is a real game changer for me. I went more than two years not being able to watch PPVs because of either 1) the cost of going through my cable company, or 2) having an internet provider that couldn’t support streaming of WWE Network (or Netflix) content. I even had to miss last year’s WrestleMania and watch it several months later on Blu-Ray. There is something un-American about that. Simply not cool! But now, all that has changed. I never got to watch NXT shows or PPVs, but now that I have….I am quickly becoming a big fan of that brand. NXT TakeOver last month was freaking incredible. I never thought I would see a WWE even where the women’s match was touted as the best of the night, but Bayley and Sasha Banks KILLED IT at TakeOver. If I had missed it, I would have felt completely cheated because the internet blew up the next day with people going nuts over this Divas match. I hear lots of people mentioning the words “match of the year”….for a Divas match. Never in my wrestling fan life have I ever thought I would see the day when a women’s match would be seen as such a phenomenal event. Whatever it was that happened that night, all the stars and planets were aligned in such a way that something truly special took place, and the NXT Universe hasn’t shut up about it since! Now, we look to the next NXT TakeOver, and there will be a rematch. Sasha Banks VS Bayley in a 30-minute Iron Man (or Woman) match. This match will MAIN EVENT the show!! A Divas match as the main event of a WWE PPV. Has Hell frozen over? Have things finally begun to turn around for the women’s division in WWE?

I would say……not quite. Bayley and Sasha are just two examples of what the division NEEDS to be NOW! But, only within NXT. On the main roster, we still have Team Bella, and as we saw the other night on SmackDown (to name just one shining example)…..this is what’s wrong with the Divas division in regards to the main roster. Everything leading up to that sham of a party for Nikki Bella was not worth anyone’s time and we as a public of consumers (and intelligent human beings in general) should petition WWE to remove the Bellas from our TV screens and compensate each and every last one of us for the time we will never get back as we suffered through that insulting, self-indulgent truckload of tripe! Nikki, Brie and Alicia Fox delivered their lines with all the eloquence of an amateur porn actress who watches too much E! Network. They make them the focus of ‘Total Divas’, and it has all gone to their heads. The Bellas think they are the WWE’s answer to the Kardashians, and that, in itself makes me cringe so hard, I may develop back problems later in life. Can I sue WWE for that?

========================================

Speaking of lawsuits, maybe now is a good time for me to hit the road before I cause any more trouble. I may have already said too much! So, I guess you know where this is going.

Until next time, troops…..YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

The Skirt Sheet

Well, SummerSlam was so-so. Predictable but wasn’t completely a waste. So much to get to. So much that I actually started this on Tuesday instead of this morning when it was deadlined to be posted. Lol!! So I better shut it and get to bidness.

Five Words…..

The Vigilante in my panties!!!!!!

Amell 1

As far as celebrities in the ring goes, Arrow’s Stephen Amell, did an exceptional job. He actually worked on training before his match at SummerSlam, as noted by his facebook streaming videos. He may not have had complete proper training, but he didn’t look like shit in the ring like some. I’m sure he will end up in the WWE Hall of Fame’s Celebrity Wing down the line. I think we can all agree that he is more worthy of such induction more than Drew Carey ever was. I’ve never seen a celebrity non-wrestler do such a high risk move than Amell when he jumped off the top rope onto Stardust and King Barrett who were on the floor. Like C’mon!!!

The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar was this time booked right. At the end of the show in the main event. It wasn’t a half bad match, and was probably the best one on the card. Although, I’m pretty sure I said something different the night of Summer Slam. All of us couldn’t help but crack up when Brock Lesnar started to laugh at The Undertaker, and the Undertaker laughed back…

Taker vs Lesnar 1

This entire thing has started a trend of meme’s on the Internet. Some of them are quite funny.

Taker vs Lesnar 5

I can’t help but talk about what many people, (aka wrestling fans), have been saying could be match of the year… NXT Women’s Championship, champion Sasha Banks vs. Bayley the night before Summer Slam. It was just incredible. I mean I have never seen so much heart and so much structure to make a match look perfect. They have put all of the male wrestlers to shame. I love it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MROEK_yPlKA

So all this crap going on between Rusev, Summer Rae, Lana and Dolph Ziggler is so shitty. I’m sorry but this isn’t interesting. It’s like watching a shit episode of Days Of Our Lives. Ziggler looks like a man hoe, who should probably be checked for many STD’s or I’s or whatever the fuck they’re calling transmitted sexual shit nowadays. Then again, if he’s been with Summer Rae, then he definitely needs to be checked… BUUUUURRRRRRNNNN!!!!!

People can’t stop talking about the return of the Dudley Boyz. I have one question… Why? Why talk about them? They weren’t really even needed back in attitude era. I certainly wasn’t tuning into the TLC matches because of them. They were just sort of there, in the background. It was the Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian who made those matches and the tag team divison stand out. Not a couple of miss-matched hillbilly camo wearing fat fuckers. The talent pool had to be quite shitty over on TNA if they gave Bubba Ray Dudley their heavyweight championship. Now they’re back for what? One last humiliation? I’m the only one who isn’t excited about this return… That I know of. I think that their time has come and gone, and I’m not sure what they want from us fans. Because I’m all out of adulation for a tag team that I don’t believe deserves much. Headbutting a few crotches with your tongue out hardly calls for applause. The best part of that was the whole “wuzzzzzz uppppppp??!!!!” which wasn’t even theirs. They were mediocre wrestlers who got famous because of a table. The Hardys and Edge & Christian did most of the work in their matches, taking the hardest bumps and taking the most risks.

John Cena…. still hate him. In fact, I’m not the only one in my household who does not like John Cena. Last week, I was watching RAW, while River was in her excersaucer, and she plays, never pays attention to the television unless the Octonauts are on the television. Seth Rollins comes out and starts talking and River, whips around. OMG it’s SETH ROLLINS!!!!

river watching Seth

Then, John Cena came out. I was laughing so hard at her, that I didn’t get a video or a photo, but she started crying. Not in the good, “Oh my god, it’s my hero and I can’t contain myself” type of crying either, but more like, “mama, make him go away! He’s horrible. Ew, he hurts my eyes,” sort of way. Lol! It was hilarious.

WWE really knows how to screw two people at once. Both AJ Lee and Charlotte. With Nikki Bella now holding the record of longest Diva’s champion, breaking AJ’s record; I can’t help but think it’s all because of the shit going on between WWE and CM Punk. Why not allow John Cena’s fuck-buddy get the honour of having such a reign, especially since she doesn’t deserve it. Poor Charlotte gets to have a momenth where she believed she won it, only to have that moment taken away from her and her father, Ric Flair. So both got screwed. Charlotte’s moment got taken away from her, and AJ Lee’s incomprable reign got shit on by a Bella. Sort of how I feel whenever I think of Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool & Layla all carrying the WWE Women’s Championship and how they shit on the legacy that the Fabulous Moolah, Wendy Richter, Lita, Ivory, Molly Holly, Mickie James, & Trish Stratus, all built. AJ was a good wrestler. She was probably the only to hold that title that made the belt have an ounce of credability. Paige is deserving, but only if they let her work the way she did in NXT. The WWE needs to allow the girls who came through NXT, to work the same way they worked in NXT. Paige, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch, all need to be allowed to do what they did to make them so amazing in NXT.

Unless between now and publication if I can think of anything I wanna talk about, I’ll add it. But right now, I have a lot going on. I have a walk that is coming up that you can find information on Facebook for, Walk 4 Kiska—Kiska’s Legacy. I need pledges. It’s like a flat rate. If you pledge a dollar or ten dollars, that’s it. It’s not per kilometre or anything. So feel freek to contact me (info at the end of Skirt Sheet). But it’s October 3rd at Sunnybrook Park in Toronto, Ontario. We would love your support if you’re in the area and can make it down. It’s for a good cause. Even if you just walk with us, that’s also good enough. We’ll be happy to talk to anyone with questions regarding Canada’s last orca, Kiska.

Take it easy my peeps. See you in a month. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

Saying Good-Bye to a legend and Money In The Bank Predictions

In Memory of

Virgil “Dusty Rhodes” Runnels

October 12, 1945 – June 11, 2015

I know I can speak for all of us here at the Fatal 4-Way, that we are shocked and saddened by the loss of a legend.

Dusty Rhodes built a legacy that didn’t just make in impact in the WWF/E, but in NWA, WCW and other promotions in the United States. He was globally recognized, and loved by many. He wasn’t just respected by wrestling fans around the world, but by his peers in the wrestling business. Rhodes helped younger talent learn the business as he recently worked down at the WWE training facility in Orlando, as well as was a major part of NXT’s success. He always had a zest for life in the ring, and could bring down the house. From cowboy hats and denim to polka dots, Dusty was always Dusty. Father of two well-known superstars, Dustin “Goldust” Runnels and Cody “Stardust” Runnels. He was a hard working American man, who may have put his job above family at times, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t working for their futures. I know that he will be missed by everyone who ever knew him, whether on a personal level, or as a fan who watched him and grew up with him on their television. Even if you weren’t a full-blown fan of Dusty Rhodes, you can’t help but respect the American Dream. With that I would like to say, Thank-You Dusty and Rest In Peace!

All apologies as King Greg is absent this week. He has some royal business to attend to in his kingdom. He will return to his royal duties in the next edition of the Fatal 4-Way. However, he would like to extend his thoughts to the Runnels family, as they have lost a husband and father. King Greg would also like to say thank-you to Dusty Rhodes for his impact on the wrestling business and hard-work in the ring. Rest In Peace American Dream!

Feel free to get in touch with King Greg; Here’s how: @blitz101 or e-mail him at gl.club17@gmail.com he’d love to hear from you!

BOOT CAMP

How’s it hanging, heroes?

Well, here we are again. It’s PPV weekend, and that means it’s time for another installment of The Fatal 4-Way….and Sarge’s Boot Camp! Your favorite, and mine as well.

I’m not going to linger for too long on this, mostly because I am not good with the sad stuff, but I want to offer my condolences to the Runnels family on behalf of the Fatal 4-Way team on the passing of “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. I have to admit, I was taken a bit off guard when I came home from work and opened Facebook. News of Dusty’s passing was on the top of the trending headlines section. It’s always crushing when a legend leaves us too soon. It makes me wish that these great men and women truly were immortal, but that is why we have our fond memories that can last long after these people have departed from our lives. Their souls and their memories will live on through the family, friends and fans across the globe that held them most dear.

===========================================

I don’t have much to talk about in regards to the actual Money In The Bank PPV this Sunday. I have already spoken in previous weeks about “Mr. Chicken Shit” Seth Rollins and how he can’t win a match on his own. It’s nice to see him being completely alienated by The Authority now, and being forced to take on Dean Ambrose by himself. I even chose Ambrose to go over Rollins in the main event, not because I think Seth is going to lose on principle or because he has no one to interfere. I just believe that Dean Ambrose’s star has been rising so fast since Payback that he is destined to hold the title in the very near future (and not like he has been, though it has been fun to see him having a good time at Rollins’ expense).

Naturally, this means I have doomed Dean Ambrose to failure because my predictions seem to always backfire. My track record since we started doing them has been “less than stellar”, to put it nicely. I flat out SUCK! There’s no sugar coating it, people. I seem to overthink things a lot of them time, or get taken in by that “perfect world” mindset and predict who I want to win rather than taking everything that has happened to that point into consideration and making a more “educated” call.

===========================================

So, it appears they are holding another Tough Enough competition, and I was happy to hear that WWE is putting on the USA Network and not just on the WWE Network. I was afraid I was going to miss the train wreck! Ha ha ha haa… I enjoyed the last season of TE because it was just so bad and painful to watch. Keep in mind, the last season of Tough Enough is where we met Cameron. She was Ariane back then, and got voted off on the very first episode because, well……she sucked the massive donkey sack! She still got a job in WWE, though. Yet another case of the actual winner vanishing into obscurity and the losers getting the reward in the end. It happens all the time in the “reality” competition world. Tough Enough is no different.

That’s the key word here. “Different”. Being “different” is what WWE needs to look for in its contestants. Sadly, most (if not all) of the truly unique and interesting applicants have already been tossed aside before even being given a chance. Sure, somebody jumping on YouTube in full face paint and acting like an idiot might not seem worthy of a WWE contract, but in hindsight, it could very well be exactly what WWE needs to bring in new fans and viewers. The problem with the “talent” in WWE these days is that 90% of them are “cookie cutter” performers and not all that interesting to watch every week. They grow stale very quickly, and only a few stand-outs have managed to rise above the doldrums and become the ones to keep an eye on. Most of these are the truly solid performers such as Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett and Neville. Others have gotten by with a gimmick that people have found easy to buy into, like The New Day playing into the wrestling fan’s innate love of cheering that someone sucks. By screaming at the top of your lungs that someone else sucks, it makes you feel better about yourself. Thus, The New Day is capitalizing on this backwards sense of positivity they preach by actually instilling it within the people who cheer to cut them down! It’s genius.

Genius” is not what I call the WWE product as a whole lately, and it’s because of these mildly enthralling personas that make it all feel like something we’ve already seen a million times. WWE has fallen into this tunnel vision syndrome where they think the way they are doing things is the best way. Millions of fans would think not, including me. It’s this lack of vision that has caused The Ascension to be tag champs in NXT, but become instant failures on the main roster. Why? Because they are “different”, and that seems not to fly anymore in today’s WWE.

My point? Don’t worry. I’m getting there. Most of what I saw from the clips they showed of the Tough Enough applicant videos were guys showing off their muscles and nearly naked women showing off their asses and tits. This is talent? Oh look! A big, jacked dude lifting weights and saying he’s the best. Really? A chick in a dental floss bikini saying she is what the Divas division needs? What WWE needs is exactly the opposite of what these people are offering up. WWE needs to give a chance to someone who doesn’t fit the mold. Somebody who looks “different”. Who acts “different”. We see big muscular guys and former swimsuit models all the time. How about extending the opportunity to someone who can actually bring WWE back to the day when athleticism meant more than looks? Hire guys to be the next John Morrison, or even the next Boogeyman. Both of them were unique, talented and stood apart from the crowd because of that difference factor. They got people excited. They got people to take notice. Even if these unique individuals don’t make it to the Tough Enough finale, don’t write them off entirely. As the saying goes, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Not meaning to say all the cast-offs are “trash” by any means, but if they weren’t given a fair shake simply based on their appearances or way of carrying themselves, then the true fault in all of this lies within WWE itself, and its narrow-minded selection process. By looking for the next person to fill the image of what they imagine to be the “ideal” WWE superstar or Diva, WWE is failing to see what really works in the world of “Entertainment”. The ability to “entertain”. The ability to keep one’s interest. With all the ADHD suffering people in the world today, it takes that special “something” to make them sit up and look away from the iPhone or to put that next selfie on hold until the next commercial break.

I’m going to keep a close eye on this season of Tough Enough even though I have a bad feeling that everything I have said is going to actually happen. The winner will be the one with the biggest boobs, biggest biceps, biggest ego….or any combination of the three. Any apparent in-ring capability will come from having worked with the trainers and coaches, and will not come from something they had in their blood from day one. It will all come down to who has the greatest desire to claim their 15 minutes of fame before being released a couple months later while we see a few of the also-rans trickle into NXT or be seen on RAW or SmackDown as an extra backstage, or even a Rosebud at some point.

Did that make sense to you at all? I hope so.

===========================================

I have to say I am loving this feud between John Cena and Kevin Owens. Now, I don’t want to take credit for anything, but Kevin Owens is doing and saying all the things I would have if I was ever allowed to be in the WWE. Think waaaaaaaaaaayyyyy back to the very first edition of Sarge’s Boot Camp. Back to November 2006….in my very first article written for this blog. What was I doing? I used my first Boot Camp as a platform to shred Cena’s movie “The Marine”. From day one, The Sarge has been forging toward victory with his own personal one-man anti-Cena movement. Dare I imagine that Kevn Owens actually is a fan of mine? All in my imagination, no doubt….but I do have a very vivid imagination! Owens calling Cena out on all his bullshit is a joy to see, honestly. Sure, Cena has faced adversity at every turn in his career. People have lined up to try and take down “the man” but very few have tried to cut Cena down by down-playing his set of personal values. Nothing brings a man to ruin quite like undermining the very mantra by which he lives his life. When you take away a man’s beliefs, and get others to see through them, you create a shell of that man that is much more easily dissected.

Kevin Owens……The Sarge salutes you!

===========================================

Before I take a powder until the next PPV, let me leave you with this. We recently rented the Scooby Doo WrestleMania cartoon for my kids to watch. They both have become addicted to it. That’s cool and all, but now my son (who has had very limite exposure to the WWE product) now thinks that the cartoon is how WWE really is. He thinks there is really a “WWE City” and all the crazy things in that episode can really happen. I admit, I enjoyed the cartoon myself, but I really think I need to get Kaden spun up on how WWE really is. I want to take him to a live show at some point in the near future, but he doesn’t care for loud noises (like the pyro) and the only upcoming show in our area starts when he is normally in bed already. I want his experience to be positive instead of a battle inside his head trying to stay awake while being bombarded by loud explosions and music and people all around him screaming like lunatics. It might scare him right out of the arena!

===========================================

One last thing before I go. I know she doesn’t read these, but I want to thank my wife for being patient and understanding enough to have taken the kids out for a few hours today while I wrap this article up. My work schedule toward the end of this week had me working nights over the time when I would normally sit down and do this article. I was not about to sit out here after coming home from a long night at work and try to form something coherent after being up all day and being worn out enough already. My only other hope to put out something worthy of my troopers was to try and get this thing done while I had time during the day. My wife gathered the little ones up, loaded them into the car and took them into town for breakfast and a quick run through Walmart. Good times!

They just got home a few minutes ago, and I am right at the end of this edition. Perfect timing! So with that said….mission accomplished, everyone.

Until next time, troops….YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

The Skirt Sheet

What a sad way to start off a wicked awesome pay-per-view weekend. I’m sure we are all completely shocked at the sudden passing of Hall of Famer, Dusty Rhodes. As of my writing, no idea what happened or the cause of death. I send my sympathies to the Rhodes family.

I’ve never been a fan of Dusty Rhodes, but I have always respected what he has done for the business. This man lived this business through and through. He raised two sons who would become amazing WWE superstars in their own rite, Dustin “Goldust” Runnels, and Cody “Stardust” Runnels. He was one of the few people who knew how to book matches and train up and coming talent. He was no stranger to promoting the business. All I can say is, this is truly a shock and huge hit to the future of wrestling. I feel sorry for the new fans and new talent who won’t get to experience what Virgil “Dusty Rhodes” Runnels can do for this business. Rest In Peace Dusty!!

Dusty 02

I had something completely different planned for this edition of The Skirt Sheet, but I feel a bit lost. My daughter, partner and I are moving in two weeks and I’ve beens so busy as of late. We get the keys to our new house this Friday, and then we will go in to clean and paint before moving. I’ve had little else on my mind other than my daughter, who just turned 4 months old this past Thursday, this move and my fight for Kiska, Canada’s only captive orca. We lost our initial fight while winning the fact that there will never be any other orca’s in captivity in Ontario. We just recently learned that a federal bill is being presented that will ban the acquisition and breeding of ALL whales, dolphins and porpoises in ALL of Canada. This is what we’ve worked so hard for. However, it doesn’t help the current cetaceans who are being held captive. Vancouver Aquarium and Marineland in Ontario are the only two abusement parks that will be affected by this federal ban, providing we can get this federal bill passed. Our fight isn’t over.

Oh hey, see, removing myself from the loss of a legend and do some general chit-chat, helped me remember a few things I want to talk about. Shall we do this in point form? Yes I do believe that’s a fantastic idea.

1- NXT’s newest Diva, Dana Brooks: She sucks! She is like a heinz 57 of other Diva’s. Fitness model like Torrie Wilson, left over ring attire of Beth Phoenix, Nattie’s colour scheme, wrestles as bad as Aksana, face like Maryse, badly bleached hair like Lana, and shoved down our throats like John Cena. Not one of WWE/NXT’s finer acquistions. I say #FAIL

Brookes

2- Kevin Owens: I’m torn. He’s not exactly in shape. I guess that means he’s the hero of every basement blogger, with grease stains on their wife-beaters (not that they’d ever get married or see a real life naked woman), who have a Big Gulp cup of sugary soda in one hand and a Big Mac in the other. And that’s only when one hand isn’t, yeah anyways. I’m not going to lie, I’m disappointed in this superstar. Yet I’m not. He’s not living up to the hype, but he’s still better than Cena and probably most of the current main roster superstars. That doesn’t say a hell of a lot. I’m not sure why Cena isn’t putting his United States Championship on the line. Then again, another catch 22; Cena loses that belt and we get him back in the title picture for the WWE World heavyweight championship…AGAIN! * Rolls Eyes * I’m glad to see someone new on the flagship shows, and even finally getting NXT talent visable on Pay-per-views. It definitley helps getting NXT more mainstream. They are a better show with better talent.

3- The MITB Ladder Match: So anyone remember that King Barrett was actually involved in the MITB Ladder Match this weekend, but somehow was taken out and his spot and opportunity (not that he would have won anyways), was given to Kane. I’m pretty sure I saw King Barrett in the intial line-up, and then POOF! Gone! Kane doesn’t need this spot. So instead, Barrett is faceing R-Truth on the kick-off show. Why is R-Truth even still working there? Is he even relevent? Anyways, my displeasure aside… I see Roman Reigns going over and then later on, either cashing it in on Seth Rollins or deeking him out. Making Rollins believe he’s about to lose his title.

4- Tyson Kidd: There is a nasty ass rumour going around that Tyson Kidd is severely injured. Apparently he is suffering from a spinal chord injury that happened during a dark match he had with, former TNA star, Samoa Joe. Kidd was getting some major air time tag teaming with Cesaro, after appearing regularly on the E! Show Total Diva’s with wife Natalya. This is a major set-back to his career if this rumour is true. You would think a vetern like Samoa Joe would be more careful and experienced enough to protect his in-ring partner/opponent from such an injury. As a fan of Tyson Kidd, this sucks for him and I hope he recovers quickly and without any major long term effects. Get better soon TJ!!

5- Dean Ambrose: LOVE HIM!!!! He amuses me, and he’s good in the ring. Ambrose knows how to bring the facial expressions and he is a bump king! I see BIG things in his future.

6- Stephen Amell vs. Stardust at SummerSlam: Sadly, this isn’t going to happen. Arrow’s Stephen Amell recently appeared at ringside at a recent live RAW episode. While sitting at ringside, Stardust, got into Amell’s face.

Arrow at RAW

It didn’t take long for rumours to swirl that the two were going to have a match at SummerSlam. However, Amell dispelled those rumours on his twitter account @amellywood

Amell tweet

I won’t lie, I’m slightly disappointed in this. Who wouldn’t want to see Arrow fighting Stardust? Or just seeing Arrow, in those tight green leather pants, holding his bow in his hands. Hang on a minute……………………

Arrow

OK, I’m good.

And I think on this happy note, I should end this right here. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

First F4W of 2015 and Royal Rumble Predictions

Welcome to the first Fatal 4-Way of 2015!! We certainly hope that everyone has had a great new year so far. It’s nice to start out the year without a death (touch wood). With that said, lets get on with this Royal Rumble edition.

BOOT CAMP

So…….first of all, happy freakin’ new year! I know 2014 was a brutal bitch to a lot of us, so here’s hoping 2015 makes up for some of that. Honestly, my 2014 wasn’t all that terrible. I managed to stay employed the entire year, which is more than I could say about 2013. The fact that I draw a retirement pension and disability from the VA that pretty much covers all my household expenses is beside the point here. Don’t get me wrong. It’s nice, but also unfair to bring it up when everyone else might not have that to fall back on. Mine seems to be a fairly unique situation among my peers.

Thing is, no matter where my income appears in my bank account from, it still doesn’t change the fact that the WWE Network still does not work for me thanks to my Internet provider not supporting its streaming service. Gladly, WWE decided to pop their heads out of their asses for one night and put the 2015 Royal Rumble out on actual pay per view (as well as the WWE Network), so I am excited to say I am going to be able to see this event. The first PPV I have been able to watch since WrestleMania 30! Sure, I have to pay $60 rather than the infamous $9.99 everyone else will get to pay for seeing the Rumble this year, but this will probably be one of only 2 or 3 PPVs I will see this year. As the saying goes: Ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

On a side note, before we get rolling, I just want to say that I have changed my mind about Paige joining the cast of ‘Total Divas’. I was so against it when I first heard she was going to be on the show because I saw it as Paige getting lumped into the same group as the rest of the Divas on the show. She is supposed to be this “anti-Diva” and this show should be something she would avoid like the plague. But, after seeing her on the first few episodes of this season, I am loving her on the show now. First of all, it allows me to see her more often than just on RAW and SmackDown. Also….she’s completely twisted, and that scores huge points with me. She tricked Nattie into believing a brownie she Paige gave her was laced with drugs, which caused Nattie to flip her shit and live so much in dread of the next Wellness Program drug test that Nattie crashed her car on purpose in an attempt to avoid being tasked with pissing into a cup and losing all her status with the company. Paige later admitted that the brownie was not laced with drugs and that she just wanted to see Nattie squirm. I fucking love that!! So, with that said, Paige is not only my favorite Diva on WWE programming, she is also my favorite cast member of ‘Total Divas’.

Okay, so what have we been through since last time? It feels like ages since the old Boot Camp has been open for “bidness”. We had, the fall and return of The Authority. We had Adam Rose being butt-humped by a furry. We had Brock Lesnar calling Seth Rollins “baby” (not once, but twice). That was creepy. We had Larry The Cable Guy and Grumpy Cat as guests on RAW. Two more reasons why the concept of “guests hosts” should never have been allowed to happen. I doubt there have been more than a handful of these guest hosts that didn’t leave me feeling embarrassed to be a WWE fan. We had the Slammy Awards! Don’t even get me started on that. We had Kane working the concession stands! We saw Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback get fired, and then hired back a couple weeks later. Pointless! Since last Boot Camp, Brock Lesnar has not competed in a match of any kind.

I wonder what it’s going to be like if/when Lesnar loses the championship. Will the title be defended on a more regular basis again, or is the title now only defended once every 4 months? I hope there is not some kind of “Lesnar Rule” attached to that title now. Honestly, having the company’s most prestigious prize being fought for only a few times every year is absolutely BAD for business! Bad? It’s fucking retarded. Let’s be real, folks, Since Lesnar became the champion, there were times when I actually admit I forgot the WWE even had a World Heavyweight title anymore. Out of sight, out of mind. Yep, somebody’s out of their minds…but, it’s not any of us. Look a couple hundred feet up in the air over the Stamford, Connecticut skyline to the WWE Headquarters!

As if there isn’t enough for me to have a problem with, now I have this to think about, too. Speaking of bad decisions and dropping the ball, I feel like somebody in the “Creat-tard” team is showing their ass again with how The Ascension is being handled since moving up to the main roster from NXT. I had such high hopes that they would be some kind of new dominant tag team, reminiscent of the very teams that they see fit to trash talk during their promos. This has caused The Ascension to be highly criticized for their apparent lack of mic skills. Add to this, the fact that they have been fed nothing but jobber teams since their debut, and all you get it a team with huge potential that is being held back by a creative team that has absolutely no clue how to use them. All that venom being spewed by The Ascension got them beaten down last Monday night by the APA, nWo and the New Age Outlaws. The Ascension will get a chance at redemption this Sunday when they once again face The New Age Outlaws at the Royal Rumble PPV. I am hoping there is some glimmer of hope somewhere that The Ascension will begin to be taken more seriously and have the chance to become the kind of team they were in NXT…..tag team championship material!

============================================

One last thing before I wrap this up, I want to officially welcome Awesome Kong back to TNA. With Havok running through every last Knockout on the roster, it will be great to see Kong VS Havok at some point in the future! As I said a while back on Facebook, possibly the best thing about Awesome Kong returning to Impact Wrestling is that there is no chance of seeing her on the next season of ‘Total Divas’.

Ha!! See what I did there. I just came full circle with that last remark. What can I say? I got da skillz, playa.

Or…………….not. Maybe it’s best if I get my ass out of here for now. Don’t worry. Next month, it’ll be “that time” once again, and you can bet I’ll be here bright and early. Hope you can make it back here to help me raise some more Hell up in this bitch!

The Skirt Sheet

Hey, Happy 2015!! Time has just flown by since our last blog. It’s been well over a month because of Christmas and New Years. Sadly, wrestling hasn’t been all that exciting since. But that is exactly why we are all here. To discuss what’s going down in the wrestling business. So, Imma gonna shut it and get ta’ bidness…

So WWE Fucked up so many ways already the moment the holidays were over. I’m not even 100% sure where to start.

Wade “Bad News” Barrett: Good: They gave him back the Intercontinental Championship. A title he never lost to begin with. One that he actually does bring prestige to, and I’m not just saying that because he’s my favourite, and I secretly fancy his British ass. Lol!! Bad: He’s won two matches. He wins when the title is on the line, but he’s already lost to Sin Cara and Dean Ambrose. At least Ambrose isn’t an embarrassing loss. The booking makes no sense at all. What they should have done: They should have made Barrett come back as a power house, grow in his matches and actually not put anyone over, unless it was by disqualification. To me it just seems they don’t know whether or not to make him a good guy or a bad guy. He’s stuck in between. They definitely shouldn’t have had him lose to Sin Cara. Ever!

The Authority: Good: ……………………. Bad: Way too soon to bring them back. TOO SOON!! Plus the way they brought them back made sense but I don’t like that fact that they made Edge look like a complete pussy. What they should have done: They certainly shouldn’t have brought them back this early. It was obvious, that the Authority would be back eventually, but they would have been better off with Vince McMahon coming on saying that if so and so won the Royal Rumble, the Authority would be able to be brought back if they wanted them to. Have Daniel Bryan win, and have him bring them back. No one would ever think that Bryan would bring them back, and then you have a heel turn. Since Cena will never turn heel, so why the fuck not? Still makes more sense then what the WWE has done.

The Ascension: Good: These young guys have so much potential. They showed that in NXT. They are a massive team and should have shown up, not in a match, destroyed some of the tag teams in the ring on RAW, and then left. Repeat on SmackDown. Bad: The ball was dropped immediately. The moment the WWE wrote them promos and handed them the microphone a week after they defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow, they were finished. It’s not that these guys can’t talk, but it was what they were told to talk about. It buried them instantly and now they are nothing but a joke. What they should have done: The Ascension never should have picked up a microphone at all. They are the type of team that doesn’t need to talk. They have the mystery surrounding them, and it should have stayed that way. As a fan, I don’t need to know their intentions, but I should want to know. Meaning, they don’t tell, which keeps me guessing. That’s what would have made them more exciting. The WWE should have kept the mystery surrounding Viktor and Konnor, and never allowed them to open their mouths.

Those were the three fuck-ups the WWE did before the clock even struck midnight December 31st.

NXT continues to shine as one of my favourite shows on television. If any indication of how the WWE treats these amazingly talented superstars once they get called up to the main roster, then I hope some of them never get called up. I don’t want to see Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, Tyler Breeze, or Charlotte, get called to the main roster. It would ruin them. Paige was a damn good technical wrestler in NXT, and now she’s licking people in the ring, and losing to talentless twats like the Bella’s. I actually hate the Bella’s less then I did before, but I can’t stand the fact that those girls needs bigger shorts. I’m tired of looking at vagina’s. Paige could be great again. The WWE just has to let her. They clearly have a history of ruining talented stars, as of late. I think the only recent one they haven’t completely fucked over, is Bray Wyatt. He’s one of the best characters the WWE has going right now. But look at Adam Rose and Bo Dallas (apparently he was injured…I never even noticed that he was gone, lol), both guys are talented (Dallas, if he keeps his trap shut), but they’re both doing nothing. I don’t want to see that happen to Neville or Breeze, etc..

Did you know that NXT Diva, Sasha Banks is actually related to Snoop Dog? Yeah apparently they are cousins or something. The More you know (shooting star). Lol!!

I’m sure the story of Triple H, breaking character on this weeks RAW, has made the rounds. For those of you who don’t know, Triple H is playing a heel currently as part of the Authority. At the end of RAW, he and wife Stephanie McMahon were at ringside, when they noticed a young boy crying at what was happening to John Cena (see, I cry because John Cena is on my screen, I smile when he gets his ass handed to him… Complete opposite man, complete opposite). Triple H broke character, went over to this young boy and told him, not to worry, that the men in the ring are playing parts and that Cena is fine, and then gave him backstage passes for after the show. Bravo Triple H. I think that was the sweetest thing to do. Boo on the parents for bringing a child to the show, who clearly wasn’t explained the ins and outs of what happens in the ring. If your child can’t tell that what’s going on is staged, then they shouldn’t be at a live event, and that is your fail as a parent. But Bravo to Triple H, who decided to do the parents job for them. Class act Triple H. Definitely a sign that you’re a good father to your three daughters.

BTW…I’m still pregnant. Lol!!! No baby yet.

How Awesome Is This??

macho-man-hall-of-fame

So obviously, I would have preferred if the WWE did this years ago, where Macho Man could have been here to make, what I’m sure would have been a very colourful speech. Sadly he isn’t, but at least this is finally happening. I am however, shocked at who was chosen to induct him. Hulk Hogan and Savage have such a sordid past, and even after Macho’s untimely death, Hogan was talking lies and shit about him, yet he was chosen to induct Savage. Everyone keeps telling me it should be his brother, Lanny Poffo, but he will likely be the one to accept the induction for his deceased brother. I personally thought it would be Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat who would induct Macho Man. Doesn’t matter I guess….I’m just stoked one of my childhood heroes is finally being inducted. Miss Elizabeth and Owen Hart next please (never going to hold my breath for Owen. His widow won’t allow it).

Anyways, it’s late and I have a doctor’s appointment in the morning. By the next time we post a blog, I won’t be just a diva…I promise you, I’ll be mama Diva. Lol!! This baby will be born by the 12th of February, as they will not let me go past the 11th (one week). Wish me luck my peeps. My life will be completely different the next time you hear from us all. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

Gregs Have A Nice Day

Hey everyone how are we doing this month?! Now that Christmas and New Years is over and done with it is time to get back to a regular routine(whatever that may be for you). My routine lately has been looking for employment. I haven’t found a job but I have had a few interviews. But enough with my personal life and let’s get down to business.

So the Royal Rumble this Sunday. The last few Rumbles haven’t been that great. I’m hoping this year it will change. Right now I don’t really know who is going to win it. I picked Daniel Bryan(because I would love to see him win it) but I have heard they have other plans for the Rumble. A lot of people are saying Roman Reigns is going win it. I just don’t think he is ready to be in the main event. I am going with Daniel because his title reign was shorten last year due to his injury. I do believe he still has a strong following(have you seen RAW lately) the fans still go nuts over him! He deserves it though! He is a hard worker and you can tell it ever since he came back into the ring. He is great! Another person who I wouldn’t mind seeing win the Rumble is Dolph Ziggler. He has proved so many times that he is indeed a Superstar. He would be my second pick to win it. This guy has had so many great matches in the last year and he also deserves a spot in the main event too. My wild card pick would be Dean Ambrose. He also has had some great matches(even if he hasn’t won that many) but I could see him win it too. It would be a big shocker if they went with him winning it. So there are many choices WWE can go with. Also they could go with Roman Reigns too. So this Rumble match could end up being pretty entertaining and not too predictable(compared to last years). So what do you guys think? Are any of my choices the same you would pick? I would love to hear your opinions. @blitz101 on twitter 🙂

The triple threat match for the WWE World Heavy Weight Championship which is involving Brock Lesnar vs John Cena vs Seth Rollins could also be a great match too. At first I wasn’t sure adding Rollins to the match would of been a good idea. But now I have changed my mind and I’m happy Rollins is in the match. His work lately has been fantastic lately. I truly believe he is a player now. He has proven that in the last few months. Him teaming up with The Authority has brought his stock up so much. As much as I hate seeing The Authority on TV they have done really great with elevating Seth Rollins. I am picking him to go over in this match. I don’t think he will cash in his MITB briefcase(unless he gets screwed) but who knows. I really enjoyed the last segment of RAW that had Brock Lesnar taking out everyone. I guess you could say they turned him baby face but I don’t think Brock was really a heel. He is just an ass kicker and it doesn’t matter who he goes after. Which is great because it gives him more guys to wrestle. John Cena has been all right too. This week he was more serious John which was good to see because I hate goofy John Cena a lot(along with the majority of fans). I don’t think he is going to win the match. My first pick is Rollins and my second pick is Lesnar to retain his championship. So we shall see what happens.

This past Monday on RAW was really good. It was nice seeing all of the legends on TV. The only problem that I had with the Legends being on RAW…is how WWE treated their new tag team The Ascension. I don’t know how them getting taken out by the New Age Outlaws is going to help them get over. I really hope they destroy the NAO at the Rumble this Sunday. That’s the only way they will get their heat back. Also they should take out JLB to get revenge on him(but they should do that on RAW).

Speaking about legends, the Icon Sting made his RAW debut and ended up helping John Cena win his match against Rollins, Big Show and Kane. Of course that didn’t sit well with Triple H though. He went nuts and it looks like they are going with a Triple H vs Sting at WM. I guess The Undertaker vs Sting match is a no go. Which is probably for the best. Maybe The Undertaker will get a better wrestler who can take a lot of bumps(Bray Wyatt)? Who knows for sure.

I guess I should tell you The Authority are back in power. The last RAW of 2014 John Cena gave in and brought them back. Seth Rollins had Edge(who was guest hosting with Christian) in the position to get a curb stomp so Cena had to bring back The Authority to stop Rollins from doing his move on Edge. So it kinda sucked because The Authority weren’t off TV for a long time. They also “fired” Ziggler, Erick Roman, & Ryback because they were part of Team Cena on Survivor Series. Of course that didn’t end up being long because John got their jobs back on this past RAW when he beat those three guys I mentioned in the above paragraph with help from Sting.

I like how SmackDown has moved to Thursday Nights again. I always found them being on Fridays was a bad thing. Most of the time I forgot it was on. But now it is on a better night. Of course we get it a day earlier in Canada because well we are special! Lol I guess it just works out better for us! 😛

In case you haven’t heard CM Punk has signed with UFC. I think that is an interesting move on his part. But I hope it works for him. I do think he is a great performer and I do think he will do well in UFC. I wish him all the luck! 🙂

In other news Randy “Macho Man” Savage will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for 2015. I’m really glad he is finally getting inducted. He should of been inducted a long time ago. But now it is happening. The only problem I have with his induction is that Hulk Hogan will be inducting him. I don’t think Randy would of wanted that. I know him and Hogan weren’t always on the best of terms. So it doesn’t really make sense seeing Hogan induct him. But I guess this is a Vince call.

Anyway that’s it for me this month! I hope you guys enjoy the Royal Rumble! Have a nice day! 🙂

Clearly, we are still working out the kinks of the addition of a new person. OK, I have pregnancy brain and totally forgot about getting the banner re-done. I promise you by December, there will hopefully be a new banner. Speaking of December, we throw away convention of our usual blogs, and do our Year End Best & Worst for 2014, plus our TLC ppv Predictions. December is one of my favourite times of the year. It’s a list, and I love organizing.

Lets knock this months out of the ball park first before jumping the gun to December. I’m sure none of us are excited to see December.

BOOT CAMP

Salutations, Survivors!

Yep, this Sunday, it’s WWE Survivor Series. It’s a PPV weekend, so you know what that means. It’s also time for the Fatal 4-Way…..and Sarge’s Boot Camp!

Now, before I begin, I want to take a minute to explain the significance of this particular edition of our little “pet project”. The November edition marks this blog’s 8th year in existence! Hard to believe it….we’ve been doing this thing now for eight friggin’ years. When we started this, we had no idea it would still be going strong for this length of time. However, here we are. Team members have come and gone…and come back again! Guest writers have joined on full-time. Some wrote once and were never heard from again. Some of us die-hards have been here in the trenches since day one, and it just keeps getting better. We do this because we love it, and we love all of you for reading and providing your feedback. Well, almost. I have a line in the bottom of my Boot Camp articles that openly encourages everyone who reads my portion of this blog to contact me and let me know what you think. Good or bad, feedback is what it is, and I welcome it all. I welcome it, but to this day…..it has not come. Not one e-mail. Not one post on Facebook. Not one Tweet. NOTHING! I know it’s not because you’re afraid to have your opinions be heard. My troops are a fearless bunch, and should feel as free to speak their minds as I do!

It’s okay. Just sayin’….

=========================================

What’s NOT okay? Oh, there’s plenty to talk about. For starters, let’s talk about the new video game, WWE2K15. What was 2K thinking when they made this game? First of all, the PS3/Xbox 360 versions are completely different from the “current gen” ones on PS4/Xbox One. The last-gen versions are pretty much the same as last year’s game, only with an updated roster and a new game mode based on NXT. They took out the option to use custom entrance music and/or videos for your created superstars and Divas. Hell, on the current gen game, you can’t even make a female character. Of all the things to remove from the game? Really? This only scratches the surface of the woes that gamers are experiencing with this title, and I honestly don’t have the time to roll out the laundry list of other complaints I have heard since the game was released. It’s sad, really. Even under a new developer, there’s no excuse for them to make a game this sorely lacking in comparison to its predecessor, whether on last-gen consoles or current gen. This game franchise has become a staple in my life, and I get each new installment as my default birthday present every year. I have to say, I am not entirely pleased with 2K15’s offerings. I have been left to make due with what I have to work with on many aspects of this game. It is a livable condition, but it leaves me only 80% happy overall. So many shortfalls in a series that normally expands (however slightly) on the previous year’s game.

=========================================

Sure, there is a lot that leaves me shaking my head about WWE2K15, but something that never fails to baffle and confound me to no end is WWE’s idea of guest hosts. When “wrestling” became “entertainment”, it completely fell off track, and we get to sit through a seemingly endless parade of “celebri-turds” and people (and things) that somebody somewhere thinks a handful of us actually give two shits about! If you think the Muppets were bad, you would be right….but there have been worse, and I have a bed feeling we have not yet seen the end. Most of the time, I am simply left wondering who thought this was a god idea? Why did they choose that person? NeNe Leakes? Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford? These are three people who have NO business in a WWE ring, a WWE locker room, or withing 50 miles of an arena in any city where a WWE live televised event is taking place….and they certainly have no business being on my damn TV screen! I don’t watch their shows. My wife watches almost all the freakin’ “Real Housewives” shows, but she does NOT watch the one NeNe is/was on. I swear it’s like the only one she actually doesn’t show interest in. Can’t blame her, really. Neither do I, and that goes double for when they put NeNe on RAW, and thought I would sit here and put up with it. When she was on screen, I used that as my opportunity to take a nice, long “mini-vaca” on the shitter. Either way, I would be struggling with crap. I just chose the more enjoyable and productive option. The only thing more relieving than a good bowel movement was coming back into the living room and seeing that NeNe was no longer stinking up my WWE programming. I can’t say the same for my poor bathroom, however.

I usually feel sorry for a lot of us who have to suffer through these horrible guest host segments, but last week during RAW, my heart went out to the sad little feline known as Grumpy Cat. This cat is a huge Internet sensation, and it doesn’t take much to gather a small list of important facts about her. I knew the night was not going to go well even before GC appeared on screen as Michael Cole did the disservice of completely fucking up the entire introduction. He called the cat a “he” when it is actually a “she”, and called her “Grumpy the Cat”. Really, dude? It takes 5 minutes on Google or Wikipedia to get your shit straight, and you can’t even bother with that. Once we finally saw Grumpy Cat, it only got worse. They saddled her with having to sit there and listen to The Miz babble about how great he is, and other insufferable crap. I can only imagine how epic Grumpy Cat’s inner monologue had to be all through that episode. As Garfield constantly ponders the miracle of lasagna, and expresses his consuming dislike of Mondays….I assume Grumpy Cat was praying for the sweet release of the vet’s mechanizing needle rather than have to live through another soul-sucking minute of what WWE was putting her through.

As was I. But, rather than being “put to sleep”, I just turned the TV off and went to bed.

(Let it be known that I am not advocating cruelty to animals. Technically, the animal was wishing harm on itself.)

This all could have been stopped if PETA had intervened in time. Given the travesties WWE has perpetrated recently against bulls, gators and bunnies….this cruel and unusual treatment of a national treasure like Grumpy Cat was hard to watch, but one can only assume how painful it was for the poor kitty to live through it.

The cruel and unusual treatment of their fans is just how WWE lets us know they care, and they know exactly what we want to see!

=========================================

In reverse animal cruelty news…..what the fuck is going on with Adam Rose and the Bunny? Used to be Rose and the Bunny would be in a match, Rose would lose and then proceed to go all “opera singing Elmer Fudd” on his ass. Kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit, KILL DA WABBIT!!!! However, the tables were turned last week as Rose went to once more lay a beatdown on the long-eared galoot, but the Bunny swung around behind him and, well…..attempted to deposit his “bunny maker” right up Adam’s “Exotic Express”.

And a million Cena fans went blind that night. Okay, just kidding. I am guessing this will lead to a match between the two at some point, but the prospect of seeing the Bunny try to anally violate Adam Rose again makes me want to completely miss anything and everything having to do with them.

I saw The Boogeyman post a few pics on Twitter recently teasing at something going on in WWE Headquarters. Not sure if it was a way of revealing a possible return, but since he didn’t show up on the Halloween episode of SmackDown (which would have made the most sense), my idea would be this. Have Adam Rose fight The Bunny in a match, and at some point, Rose hits the Bunny’s costume head and it flies off….to reveal that The Boogeyman is who is inside the suit! #BoogeyBunny would soon trend worldwide!

But, that’s how things work in my twisted imagination.

=========================================

And, with that said, it’s about time I hit the bricks. Enough trouble has been caused for another month! Move along, kids. Nothing else to see here. Not until next time Boot Camp is in session, anyway.

Until then, troops…..YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

Had enough yet? You got something to say to me? E-mail me at darkside619@hotmail.com and get it off your flabby little chest! Your feedback is both welcomed and encouraged, and your responses will be highlighted in my next Boot Camp article. Your orders are clear, troops……it’s time to stand up and sound off!! I’ll make you famous! >:)

Until next time, this is The Sarge…..reminding you: If someone notices you with an open zipper, answer proudly: professional habit.

Gregs Have A Nice Day

Hey everyone, how are you doing this month? I can’t believe we are already at another WWE PPV. Man time flies when you’re having fun! I have been trying to keep busy with things. For those of you who don’t know I have been recently laid off due to lack of work available. So I have been trying to find work to keep busy. Anyway let’s get on with this wrestling blog shall we?!

This past Monday’s RAW was all right. Grumpy Cat was the special Guest Host for it. For those of you who don’t know who she is, she is this cat that always looks grumpy! She has become an Internet sensation. She has a Christmas movie coming out on Nov 29th. It is going to be on Lifetime network for those of you who want to watch it. I don’t get Lifetime so I won’t be able to watch until it comes out on DVD.

Back to RAW The Miz and Mizdow were really the only ones who interacted with Grumpy Cat. It was pretty corny but I was expecting it, so it didn’t really bother me! There was a new IC Champion that was crowned. Luke Harper ended up winning it. He defeated Dolph Ziggler. I wasn’t expecting Luke to win but it was a nice change. I do however do like Ziggler. It didn’t really hurt him. I’m sure he will get another title shot sometime down the line. Of course the big thing on RAW was whether or not Cena would be able to get enough guys to be on his team for Survivor Series. He did manage to get Ryback, Big Show, Ziggler, and Erick Rowan to be on his team. Sheamus was supposed to be on it but he got taken out by Mark Henry. They will be taking on Team Authority. On TA is Seth Rollins, Kane, Rusev, Mark Henry and Luke Harper. Now if Team Authority ends up losing it means Authority will lose their authority. But if Team Cena loses everyone on that team will be fired. I think Team Cena will win. I have a feeling WWE wants to change things up and maybe go back to a GM for RAW and SmackDown That’s just my opinion. What do you guys think?

One thing that bugs me is how WWE thinks they can bring back Ryback and expect us to believe he is all that. They pretty much buried him for most of this year and last year. He was teaming up with Curtis Axel. They didn’t really do anything with them. So I don’t know. I also think Ryback is an asshole on top of it. I know he doesn’t care about the fans(cause even when he was a face before he turned heel he didn’t really show he liked the fans). Even now I think he is phony. I have a good eye for things like that. I know Vince likes his “Big Guys” but I think he is wasting his time with Ryback. He will never give back to WWE like other wrestlers they have.

Randy Orton is MIA right now but he will be back soon. As we saw a few weeks ago The Authority took him out but this is storyline related. He is now filming a new film. It will be coming out next year. I’m not sure if I will see it. I guess if Diva decides to buy it I might borrow it from her? LOL Who knows. But when Orton does make his return to WWE I expect him to get his revenge on Seth Rollins. Those two guys will put on some great matches! I just hope Orton doesn’t turn into a boring babyface like he seems to do. I would like to see him be a normal guy who just likes to kick ass!

Speaking about kicking ass Dean Ambrose has been on a roll. Everything that he has been involved with has been really good! Right now he is feuding with Bray Wyatt(another favourite of mine). These guys are going to have a match on Survivor Series and it could be the match of the night. I hope these two steal the show. I picked Wyatt to go over but I wouldn’t mind seeing Ambrose win too. Either one is good for me.

WWE has released a new blu ray about Randy “Macho Man” Savage. It is about time they did do that! I really hope this will lead to Macho Man being inducted into the WWE HOF next year! I really would love to see that(along with other wrestling fans). It is his turn. Come on WWE please put Savage into the HOF.

TNA will be leaving SpikeTV at the end of the year. They will be moving to Destination America channel in the new year. Impact will remain a two hour show plus they will have other shows on the channel. I hope this works out for TNA. But they have a long way to go to get back the fans. At least they have a few good workers on their roster. Kurt Angle decided to stay with TNA and not go to WWE. Also they have Jeff Hardy and many other guys too. I probably won’t watch their shows at the start(we don’t get Destination America in Canada) but I won’t be downloading them either. I may if they get better but for now I’m just sticking with WWE.

Daniel Bryan wants to return to WWE by the Royal Rumble. I hope he does but it does seem this rehab isn’t really helping his hand. He still doesn’t have feeling in it and he could need surgery. If that happens who know how long he will be out. I really wish him the best! I miss seeing him in the ring. He was doing so well then this happened.

I’m going to do something now. WM 31 is in a few months so I’m going to predict what the card will look like. The main event for WM 31 will be Daniel Bryan VS John Cena for WWE World Championship, Triple H VS Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker VS Sting, Brock Lesnar VS Rusev, Randy Orton VS Bray Wyatt, Chris Jericho VS Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns VS Bad News Barrett for the IC Championship, Paige & AJ VS Natalya & Trish Stratus and Christian VS Sheamus. So what do you guys think? Do you think it will be a good card or not?

Anyway that’s it for me this month! I hope you guys enjoy the Survivor Series PPV this Sunday if you do end up watching it! You can check out the rest of my predictions along with everyone else at the end of this blog! Have a Nice Day! 🙂

Brandon Crazy train

Sup jerks! We have a couple things to talk about this month so lets not waste any time and get right into it, shall we?!

Lucha Underground

Are we standing on the edge of a revolution in pro wrestling?

This past October, wrestling fans across the globe were introduced to a new breed of professional wrestling that is drastically different from the era of “Sports Entertainment” (*cough* WWE *cough*) that most casuals are accustomed to. The art of Lucha Libre style wrestling is not unfamiliar territory for wrestling fans. Well known established names such as Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero (with Eddies nephew, Chavo being a huge part of Lucha Underground) became household names based on this style of wrestling competing in ECW, WCW and WWE.

To the people who never watched Lucha Underground: What makes this company stand out?

· Style! As you can obviously tell by the name, automatically youre going to be seeing a different style of wrestling than before. If your cup of tea is high flying, fast paced and breathtaking action? Lucha Underground is right down your alley!

· Presentation! One of the first things youre immediately going to notice is how this show is presented to the viewing audience. Forget the standard angry, overly exaggerated wrestling promos you have come to expect. Instead, we are presented with a dark, resolute and somewhat cheesy vignette style of storytelling. Everything has a movie style feel to it and its refreshing to see in between matches. In my personal opinion, this brings a better sense of realism to the product that you dont see anywhere else.

· Wrestlers! What would Lucha Underground be without its talent, right? You get a wide variety of wrestlers that most likely you have never heard before sprinkled in with some former WWE and TNA castoffs. Wrestlers such as Johnny Mundo (WWEs John Morrison), Big Ryck (WWEs Ezekiel Jackson), Chavo Guerrero Jr, Prince Puma (former part time TNA X-Division star), Shawn Hernandez (yet to debut, former TNA star), to name a few. In addition, theres wrestlers like Sexy Star, Drago, Fenix, Catrina (WWEs Maxine), Ivelisse and many others.

The arena has a down and dirty “Fight Club” like appeal to it in my opinion. Former AAA and WCW star Vampiro, along with former WWE announcer Matt Striker provide the commentary with a realistic approach rather than advertising products and treating the audience like dumb sheep.

I could continue on and praise this new organization, but I feel its best for wrestling fans to go and check it out for you. Speaking as a die-hard wrestling fan, Im always looking for alternatives to mainstream professional wrestling. Lucha Underground, in my humble opinion, is one of the better alternatives I have seen in recent years. I sincerely hope you will tune in and check these guys out. Lucha Underground airs on Wednesday night at 8pm (Eastern Time) on the El Ray Network. If youre unable to watch it on television, check it out online somewhere. I promise you will not be disappointed.

GFW-NJPW

GFW and NJPW team up for a very special Pay-Per-View extravaganza! Are you ready to #JoinTheForce?

In April of this year, TNA founder Jeff Jarrett announced that he was going to start a new promotion called Global Force Wrestling (GFW). As time went on, Jarrett started to pick up momentum for his growing company. He aligned himself with some of the best international wrestling promotions from around the globe (no pun intended). AAA from Mexico. New Generation Wrestling from New England. WrestleClash from Australia, just to name a few. One of the biggest partners GFW gained was New Japan Pro Wrestling. A promotion rich with wrestling history, with many big names making a splash in the United States like Big Van Vader, Keiji Muto/The Great Muta, Masahiro Chono, Ultimo Dragon, and so many others along the way made an impact in our sport. Therefore, it was only fitting that GFWs first major event would come with their biggest asset NJPW!

Wrestle Kingdom 9”, one of NJPWs biggest events is set to take place on January 4, 2015. Due to their new relationship with GFW, a deal was made to co-promote the event here in the United States live on Pay-Per-View. Recently, a major announcement was made on behalf of GFW that legendary ring announcer and WWE Hall of Famer; Jim Ross would be the play by play announcer for one night only. Joining him will be former TNA color commentator and TNA Shop pioneer, Don West will join Ross on commentary.

Here is the scheduled card for the event. The card features mostly talent from NJPW, with others sprinkled in from ROH and other Indy promotions:

1

Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada Singles match for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship

2

Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Kota Ibushi Singles match for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship

3

Ryusuke Taguchi (c) vs. Kenny Omega Singles match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship

4

reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly) (c) vs. Forever Hooligans (Alex Koslov and Rocky Romero) vs. Time Splitters (Alex Shelley and Kushida) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) Four-way tag team match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship

5

Tomohiro Ishii (c) vs. Togi Makabe Singles match for the NEVER Openweight Championship

6

Minoru Suzuki vs. Kazushi Sakuraba

Singles match; the winner can only be declared by submission or knockout

While nothing has officially been announced by GFW on a television deal or what they plan to do for a roster, look for Global Force Wrestling to become the talk of the wrestling world for 2015!

Facepalm

Wrestling garbage that makes you face palm because the fail is too hard to put into words.

There werent too many things to talk this month, so I came up with an idea for a segment. When I used to run a Facebook wrestling community group, one of the things that caught on was my *face palm* picture. I would post this in favor of lashing out and talking about how stupid a particular wrestling character/match/angle was. Therefore, I decided to carry this one here at the Fatal 4-Way. Each month, Im going to pick a random number of things that made me (and most of you wrestling fans) face palm in complete disgust.

· The Bunny Hump” Okay, we all know how much I cant stand that f***ing bunny. I probably hate the character as much as JBL. Nevertheless, wrestling fans were subjected to his funny, but also uncomfortable scene on RAW.

The Bunny Hump

If The Bunny is really Darren Young this is going to cause a LOT of controversy within the LGBT community.

· Cesaro gets snubbed” In a controversial move from RAW this past Monday night. Cesaro comes down to the ring and sides with The Authority during the final showdown. When the show closed, we were all under the assumption the main event was going to turn into a 6-on-5 match with the addition of Cesaro. But nope! It appears Cesaro will NOT be a part of Team Authority after-all. So, what was the effing point of having Cesaro out there to begin with? Ugh! Idiots!!!

Cesaro

Its okay, Cesaro. Were all pissed off too!

TNA Bound for Glory

· Bound for Failure” Alright, Ill admit. “The Prodigy” is a bit of a biased TNA fan. However, that doesnt mean they are safe from my deadly venom. TNA and Wrestle-1 co-produced TNAs “biggest” Pay-Per-View of the year in Tokyo, Japan amidst a Typhoon, a controversial Dixie Carter tweet referencing the impending hurricane and “Cowboy” James Storm and one of the weakest BFGs in company history! To add insult to injury, major TNA stars like Bobby Roode, Bobby Lashley, Gail Kim, Eric Young and others were nowhere to be seen. The show itself was good, mind you. However, it didnt deliver on what the show could have been had TNA and Wrestle-1 got all their ducks in a row. Oh yeah, the show was taped, not live.

Was this years TNA Bound for Glory a failure? Tweet @DravensFlock and let me know what you think!

· M.I.A” The wrestling world has not seen, nor heard from WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar since WWE Night of Champions in September. Rumors ran amuck that Lesnar was having health issues. Others say it was a “WWE” call to set Lesnar out and use him as needed. Some speculated it was a contract issue between Brock and the WWE. Regardless of what the truth is, WWE needs to see Brock Lesnar back sooner than later. I dont mind if we see him on every episode of RAW or SmackDown. I want to see him back defending the title on Pay-Per-Views as a champion should do! What a concept, right?

Brock Lesnar

MISSING! Have you seen this WWE World Heavyweight Champion? If so, please call our hotline! Its 1-900-909-9900! Kids please get your parents permission before calling!

· You sure do have a purdy mouth, little lady!” Finally, I end this segment with a disturbing meme between Erick Rowan (aka, #LambHeadGuy) and Renee Young. Imagine if WWE decided to turn this into a “love story”? LMFAO! If you can remember back when Lillian Garcia had a storyline with the late Viscera/King Mabel, then you may get somewhat of an idea where this could go. Disturbing!

#LambHeadGuy and Renee Young

This is what happens when #LambHeadGuy hooks up with Little Bo Peep. Only in the WWE folks!

Thats it for me. Im checking out of the nuthouse and back into the Asylum… wait, that didnt sound right? Oh well. We all go a little crazy sometimes. This is “The Prodigy” signing off, telling you to get your pets spayed & neutered, your kids to stay off drugs, and to grow a spine and speak your mind!

The Skirt Sheet

Another month has gone by. And soon I’ll be just a manager of the Fatal 4-Way. I’m not leaving once the baby comes, but I may not be writing as often. Kind of depends whether or not I get to watch much wrestling. It’s nice to have The Prodigy (aka Brandon) on our team, to sort of pick up the slack while I’m off trying to be a mom. I honestly have no freaking idea what I’m doing. Lol!! But you live and learn. Babies don’t exactly come with instruction manuals. Although they really should. As of this blog, I have 11 weeks until our Baby Beluga finally comes. Anyways, I should shut it and get to bidness…

Lucha Underground S01E01 2014-10-29 480p AVCHD-SC-SDH logo

I was hearing all this buzz from some of my friends on Facebook about Lucha Underground. A different take on wrestling. The Mexican luchador style mixed with a rougher North American style, set in a dingy dojo. The wrestling is amazing. The rest is pretty cheesy. Some of you may know the names of Vampiro, Matt Strkier (both lead commentary), Chavo Guerrero Jr., Konnan, John Morrison who is now known as Johnny Mundo. All in this new promotion. They go by episodes and it is produced by Mark Burnett who produces Survivor. It isn’t so much done in the direction of WWE or TNA or Ring Of Honour, but more like a television show. That’s the part that gets me. I’m not really sure how I feel about the television show format oppose to arena wrestling format the other promotions are usuing. Even though I seem to have a problem with it, the matches that are put on, are amazing. Quick-moving, flashy, but smooth and near flawless. Sometimes you catch mistakes being made, but who cares, the rest of the matches make you forget what you are seeing.

Rumour has it, former WWE superstar, Alberto Del Rio will be joining the show in the early new year. Which doesn’t exactly surprise me. Four episodes have aired and in the first three I was waiting for him to pop up. Women face men, and men face midgets. There are very few rules in Lucha Underground. Anything can happen at any given time. I like the spontaneity it affords me as a new fan to the show. It’s easy to follow and the stories are simple. If you miss one week, then you don’t miss much at all. Stars to watch, Mil Muertes, Prince Puma, Blue Demon Jr., Fenix, Drago, and Sexy Star (most unoriginal name ever).

The ring is larger than WWE, and sounds a lot harder with less give. I could do without the cheesy vignette type segments, and Sexy Star is a tough woman wrestler who feminist would shit all over because she wrestles men, and isn’t afraid to get slapped around. The acting is horrible, but it’s a good thing that the in-ring work is stellar. If you want a break from the conventional, check out Lucha Underground. There has been only 4 episodes as of this blog.

Matt Striker still sucks, btw.

Moving on…

Adrian Neville pulling a dick move on NXT a couple of weeks ago in his title defense against Sami Zayn. I freakin’ loved it. Feigning an injury to distract his, friend, then rolled him up for the pin. OMG classic. He still played up the injury afterwards, but it was still a move that you wouldn’t suspect of a babyface like Neville. Great swerve.

Speaking of Sami Zayn, they seem to be slowly intergrating him on the main roster. For two weeks in a row, Zayn faced Tyson Kidd on Main Event, getting some main stream exposure. Maybe that’s why the NXT Championship has not been put around his waist. Also, ever since The Ascension has lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to Lucha Dragons (Kalisto & Sin Cara), I’ve been expecting them to be brought up on the main roster, but no sign of them yet).

NXT keeps amazing me each week. I’m still waiting for NXT Women’s champion, Charlotte to have her penis slip out. I’m sorry, she’s an amazing wrestler, but looks so man-like.

Grumpy Cat? Really? That is all.

Lets talk about the 28th Annual Survivor Series for a few moments. Hardly any matches have been booked. I think they have four matches booked (granted I’m writing this on this past Tuesday so who knows, it could have changed).

Team Authority vs. Team Cena. This one is a toughy. The way it looks now, Team Cena will be going over, however with Rusev on Team Authority it looks like Team Authority will take it. Rusev has yet to be pinned or made to submit. However, without Rusev on Team Authority, it wouldn’t have opened Cena vs. Rusev. I’ve been saying this for months, that it will be John Cena who beats Rusev via pinfall or submission. C’mon, he’s the American hero. Of course it’s always been the plan to go with Cena as being the one who finally beats Rusev. I think the only way that Team Cena can win, without someone pinning Rusev (because I doubt he would get pinned or forced to submit in a team match), is for Rusev and Lana to walk out mid way through the match and be done with Team Authority. A quick rundown;

Team Authority: Seth Rollins (Captain), Kane, Mark Henry, Rusev, and Luke Harper

Team Cena: John Cena (Captain), Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Ryback and Erick Rowan (yeah I know right, wtf?)

The way the rumours are swirling, Nikki Bella is set to defeat AJ Lee for the Diva’s championship. Especially after Stephanie McMahon was recently asked in an interview about how none of the Total Diva’s cast will ever be allowed to be on the show and carry the championship. She answered that simply wasn’t true. With the rumour that AJ was planning on leaving the company after Survivor Series, instead of putting the title on a non-Total Diva (because really, there isn’t many who aren’t on the show now), putting the title on John Cena’s girlfriend is most likely going to take place this Sunday.

Nobody cares about the WWE Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way match. For me to care, is for them to do something amazing, like call up The Ascension to interrupt the match and lay out every single team. I won’t be holding my breath.

Lastly, the psychological games between Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose will only just be starting. Mind games aside, both guys are killer on the microphone, and both are solid in the ring. Wyatt maybe the creepiest in the ring compared to Ambrose, but never take away the rash in-ring style of the Lunatic Fringe. He brings a quick, sloppy-yet-neat approach to his work inside the squared circle. A style that helps improve his image as being a bit off the cuff, one that will compliment, and pardon my pun, the off the rocker stylings of Wyatt. This match was likely more anticipated then the Team Cena vs. Team Authority match, until the stipulation was added by Mr. McMahon. For me, I’d rather see Wyatt vs. Ambrose.

If it wasn’t for Dean Ambrose, I’m not sure if I would still be a wrestling fan right now. I’m so frustrated with the product. I feel like when the baby comes, I probably won’t miss wrestling as much. I can’t help but wonder what Ambrose will do next? What actions will make him fly off the handle? What facial expressions will make him look the most looney? etc.. He’s just interesting.

I can’t figure out Erick Rowan joining Team Cena. Then again, I’m probably not the only one who can’t figure that one out. Yeah I know that should have been further up in my blog, but the thought just popped into my head.

I watched the 2014 TNA Knockouts Knockdown with eight TNA Knockouts, and eight Independent female wrestlers. I’ve always regarded the TNA Knockouts to be far superior than the WWE Diva’s (of this current roster), however not in the one pay-per-view they get a year. I’m not sure if they toned it down so that the newer girls could keep up or not, but either way, the wrestling was disappointing. In round one, it pinned one TNA established knockout vs. an aspiring knockout, and the winner would move on to the Gauntlet Battle Royal.

Round 1: -Veda Scott vs. Gail Kim; I had planned to give a rundown of the matches but they kinda all looked the same to me. Gail Kim goes over.

– Scarlett vs. Angelina Love; Angelina goes over with help from Velvet Sky.

-Reby (Sky; aka Mrs. Matt Hardy) vs. Velvet Sky; Reby goes over thanks to a mistake made by Angelina spraying Velvet in the face with hair spray.

-Havoc vs. Madison Rayne; probably one of the better matches of the night. Surprised that Madison Rayne would defeat Havoc.

-Karlee Perez (former NXT Diva, Maxine) vs. Taryn Terrell (former WWE Diva Tiffany); I’m not sure why TNA thinks that Terrell is a good wrestler. She hurts my eyes. Anyways, Taryn Terrell defeats Karlee Perez.

-Mia Yim vs. Brittany; virtually two chicks I’ve never heard of or cared about. Mia Yim defeats TNA Knockout Brittany.

– Deonna vs. Brooke. Worst match ever, but TNA’s Brooke gets the win.

– Marti Belle vs. ODB; Strike that last one, this was the worst match. Watching an afro defeat the gross and has to be smelling of bad punani ODB, was well there was no good way to end this match. But at least I don’t have to look at ODB later. Or so I thought. Turns out she would strip and beat Rockstar Spud. Yeah that was pretty bad too.

Then round 2 was the Gauntlet Battle Royal match. Starting off for the first two minutes is Gail Kim vs. Brooke. Then Mia Yim, Reby, Angelina Love, Madison Rayne, Marti Belle, & Taryn Terrell would join every two minutes. To be eliminated, each participant had to go over the ropes and both feet hitting the floor. When it comes to the final two participants, a referee would be added and it would become a one-on-one match for the Queen of The Knockouts crown. It would come down to Angelina Love vs. Madison Rayne. With the predictable out come of Velvet accidentally spraying Angelina in the face with the hair spray, like Love did to Sky earlier. Madison Rayne is the 2014 Queen of the Knockouts.

I’m not sure I have much else to say as of right now. Wrestling has just been disappointing as of late. I’m still enjoying NXT and I’m getting used to Lucha Underground. Try as I might, TNA just doesn’t interest me. WWE has been one slow and disappointing show after another. This whole “New Day” shit with Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods looks really stupid. They would have been better off going with another Nation of Domination then with a baptist Right to Censor-type gimmick. Then again, we have yet to see what this “New Day” shit is about. Will Slick come back as a manager? Is Slick still alive?? Actually he is. Lol! With all this said and done, I will see you next month for probably one of the most difficult Best & Worst list I could possibly do. To find anything good in 2014, will be extremely difficult. To just limit myself to the Worst will be difficult as well. So much shit to chose from. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!
