Holla! We’re back and this month we are, well, I’d say we were prepared and maybe some of us are, but I forgot. It took Greg last Saturday at Comicon to remind me that it’s blog-ass-kicking time. So, well, we’re here and so are our WWE Payback Pay-Per-View predictions!

TSS 01

I’m back, after a very hard couple of weeks. Just a little over two weeks ago, my baby Beans passed away. Anyone who knows me, knew how much my dog meant to me and her loss was and still is very heartbreaking. I’m still recovering. Everyday I think about her and all the love she gave me and me to her. She was funny, and loving and so smart. She was my heart and soul and now I feel like a huge part of me died when she did.

My week has continued to get a bit trying as well. As my best friend, who is actually more like a sister than a friend and I often refer to her as such, Colleen, is waiting for news on her grandmother. Colleen’s grandmother is 95 and I was so fortunate enough to spend many years with her in my life when I was younger. Waiting for news on her has been hard and I am trying my best to keep Colleen’s mind off of it. As of right now (June 9th) she is resting comfortably.

All this bad news just keeps coming. I am going to try my best to escape in the wonderfully mystifying world of Sports Entertainment, as it usually helps me escape from the bad parts of life. So what has gone on this past week. Maybe I’ll shut it and get to bidness…

Actually I guess I can’t say this entire week has been ALL bad. The Niagara Falls Comicon was this past weekend and was probably one of the happiest days that I’ve had in a long while. After a kerflafle of trying to figure out what time to leave last Saturday, on Friday I found a solution that worked and MAN did it work out perfectly. I wanted to arrive at the Niagara Falls convention centre at 10am and we go there at 10:01am. Not too shabby. Then we waited in line for maybe fifteen minutes then were allowed inside. I was absolutely flabbergasted of the people this year compared to last year. It was so tight in there that you could barely move. I pretty much ditched my boyfriend and his best friend and Colleen came with me to keep me company until Greg got there, and waited with me in line to meet WWE Hall Of Famer, Mick Foley. Then Greg and I continued to wait together. I was in line for over 3 hours, which is nothing on those days where I waited 8 or more hours. The moment came and it was more than worth the wait. Mick Foley spent a good chunk of time with both Greg and myself chatting away with us. I had planned to ask him a question and I managed to get a word in to do so. I asked him what his thoughts were on the fact that the WWE is jobbing out their lower card champions, like Wade Barrett. He said it was a shame that they are doing that and that they seem to not focus on the Intercontinental championship like they used to. As for Wade Barrett, he said that the man has a lot of talent and that there is still more to be tapped into but he did great work in NEXUS and the WWE cut him out of it and that messed things up for Barrett. I then said that I thought the WWE dropped the entire ball on the NEXUS and that it could have been huge, and Foley agreed with me. He also took the time to reassure me to keep faith in Barrett, saying he (Foley) made his living jobbing and look at him now, that Barrett’s day will come. I’m sorry but not many wrestlers will answer a question in so much depth the way Foley did for me. Plus we had two full stories that day too. I was fortunate to hear the one he told to Greg about him and Vader coming to Niagara Falls not long after Vader ripped Foley’s ear off in Germany and his jokes about it not being very romantic. Foley is an amazing man with so much pride in his career and life, and you can tell that he truly enjoys fans that can talk to him and will listen to him. It was truly an amazing moment for me and I have to be honest and say, Mick Foley is the BEST wrestler whom I have ever met!

 TSS 02

After Mick Foley, I waited for another five minutes to talk to another WWE Hall of Famer, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase. It was an absolute pleasure to be in his presence and he was great. I was unsure of whether or not to just get my picture done with him or have him autograph my book too, but Colleen pushed me to do both and I’m glad she did. He signed my book and then had me come around to pose with him and the Million Dollar Championship. Might I just say, holding that much gold and diamonds, was A) Heavy and B) Glorious!

 TSS 03

That gleam in my eye was trying to figure out how to fit that belt in my purse and wondering if I could out run DiBiase. Lol!! Nah, just kidding 😉

My amazing boyfriend was trying so hard to do something super sweet for me. He bought me this…

TSS 04

He was trying so hard to get to me before I met with Ted DiBiase for me to get this signed instead of my book. But he was too late. And he was so mad at the situation. But I love him for that and he even got me the DiBiase figure that I’ve been wanting for months. Mat said to me today that if had bought a toy for any of his ex-girlfriends, they would have killed him and that he loves that I’m into this stuff. Glad I can be different. Lol!! Maybe Ted will be at Comicon next year too and if he is, I will spend money just to get this signed.

So all in all, it was a great day. Mostly for me I think. My man looked super geeky in his Star Trek Voyager uniform but also really sexy too. I hope next year he tries for Thor. That would be sexier!

Anyways, on to wrestling!!!

I’m not looking forward to this Sunday’s pay-per-view, Payback. I have to say I really like the Game’s response to calling it Refund! That was a good one. Partly because I know that Wade Barrett is going to lose and then he will flounder in a series of re-matches that won’t make sense. The only way out of this so that Curtis Axel’s “undefeated” streak continues is to have The Miz lose to Barrett, which isn’t going to happen. Although now that I’m thinking about it, it is possible because the WWE is prone to dropping the ball when it comes to talent they want to push. As much as I respect the family that Curtis Axel (aka Joe Hennig) comes from, I don’t think he holds a candle to his father and grandfather’s legacy. If you were to ask me, he has already dropped the ball completely. I still look at him as the jobber Michael McGillicutty. They should have done a series of vignettes that hyped up this “Perfect bred” character and THEN revealed him as Paul Heyman’s newest client. As a fan for the past 29 or so years, I just can’t get behind him. As you all know, I’m partial to the heels compared to the babyface guys. I don’t get it with Axel.

Sheamus is a much more solid wrestler, than the talkative Damien Sandow. Sandow will have to step up his match skills if he wants to beat Sheamus, is what I would say if the out come wasn’t already pre-determined. However I think that this will end in the favour of Sheamus as he is just more likable.

Everybody can speculate all they want about Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton becoming tag team champions, but I honestly don’t think that’s going to happen. What I think will happen after this week of television, is that Orton is going to turn on Bryan and say “to hell with it,” which will allow The Shield’s Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to retain their titles. I have a feeling the success of this match will fuel Dean Ambrose to be successful in his match against Kane, as Kane will be distracted by what happened to Daniel Bryan in the match before his own.

So much time has gone by that I really couldn’t careless to see another Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler match. And that is all I’m going to say about that.

AJ really got one over on Kaitlyn this week with revealing her sick joke of Big E. Langston as her “secret admirer”. If anyone didn’t think that AJ was behind that stupid storyline then you are a dumb wrestling fan. Personally I thought it would have been better if Dolph Ziggler was behind it without AJ’s help. But NooOOoo, it had to be Big E.. Big E is the most boring thing to hit the WWE since the Attitude era dispersed. Kaitlyn will be riding high on emotion during this match, either the match doesn’t officially get started because Kaitlyn kicks the snot out of the 12-year old AJ, or the match starts and she successfully retains the Diva’s title because she kicked the snot out of the 12-year old AJ.

CM Punk is returning… ’nuff said!

Three Stages of Hell match between John Cena and Ryback. First stage is a lumberjack match, the second stage is a table match and if necessary, the third stage will be an Ambulance match. If necessary? Come one, when has there been a time when a 2 out of 3 falls match or type match, didn’t go to the third and final round? Like seriously, you fucking bookers of the match. Cena will win the first stage, Ryback the second or vice versa and then one of them will win the final stage and walk out with the WWE Championship. I hate John Cena and I hate Ryback, but I hate John Cena less because when John Cena talks, I don’t always want to find a sharp, rusty nail to jam into my ears. With that I don’t care who wins but I’d rather see Cena retain.

Well, I know that this hasn’t been the most exciting Skirt Sheet ever, but I had a great time at Comicon. It was all worth waiting in-line with Greg for three hours to meet a fantastic man, Mick Foley. So cheers peeps and remember, Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

 newbootcamp

***the views and opinions expressed in “Boot Camp” are strictly my own and do not in any way reflect those of WWE, TNA or any other group that I might inadvertently piss off! But….If you’re gonna get all emo over it, then run home to your mommy, curl up in the fetal position and cry salty tears into your fucking Ovaltine!!***

BOOT CAMP

How’s it hangin’, heroes????

Can’t complain much from here. Aside from the uninspiring level both WWE and TNA have fallen to lately, I really can’t say much else bothers me right now. Sure, it sort of leaves me with limited ammo for this edition of the Boot Camp, but that doesn’t mean I am completely lost for shit to yak about!

So, let’s see. I’m going to start off by filling you in on what’s been happening on the “home front”. Things are still going pretty well for me and the family. I have been working at my job for about a month now, and aside from swollen, cramped-up hands and wrists from the physical aspect of the job…everything is going as well as could be expected. I was even moved to a “better” section in the plant because the supervisors recognized how hard I was working in the area where I was initially assigned! I was selected to move up over like four other guys. That makes me feel pretty damn good! So, naturally, I have been doing everything possible to “kill it” in the new section I am working in, and I think I am doing okay there. Lots of heavy lifting and carrying, repeatedly over the 12-hour night shift, and yeah…it does cause me some pain, but I just see it as part of the job. I am working to support my wife and kids, and I would do anything for them! Best part of all is, my wife is totally sympathetic to what I am doing. She realizes the toll it takes on me, and honors that by being extra nice to me. She treats me very well, getting me little treats at the store and even allowing me to buy gift cards that I can use toward the game I play on Facebook! Not a bad deal, really. I actually prefer a more “hands-on” kind of job compared to the “desk jockey” positions I worked in the Air Force and at the service desk I was hired to as my first job after retirement. Thing is, I make a little bit less at this factory job, but with the lower cost of living here in Illinois, and my monthly retirement pay coming in to supplement our household income…we can actually live comfortably here money-wise. Back in Virginia, even with getting paid a few bucks more, we couldn’t even pay the mortgage on our house with what was left over after bills and groceries. That’s why we moved back “home” in the first place, and I think it’s working out rather nicely for everyone.

Just wish I could see more of my friends since I moved back. Seen one of them for maybe 10 minutes the other night, but never got to talk to him at all. One of my best friends from high school lives a couple hours away, but I haven’t seen or heard from him in months. Last saw him in person maybe 2 years ago. We seriously need to set something up, but with me working nights, we would need to find a time when our schedules allowed it. Guess that is harder to come by than we all thought.

Anyway, my job is actually kind of neat. Yea, I just said “neat”. It’s a food production factory. More specifically, a dairy food production plant. All the things they make there have dairy based ingredients. That’s what I get for living in the Mid-West, I suppose. So far, I have seen that they make, package and ship all sorts of things including iced coffee drinks (frapuccinos), Java Monster energy drinks (coffee and milk based), Prego Alfredo sauce, various types of cheese dips and salsa con queso, ranch dip, spinach dip and bean dip. I have personally been involved in the mixing of base components used in the queso, ranch and cheese dips as of late. Oh, they also make that cheese in the aerosol cans! LOL

Fun times!! I gotta tell ya, though…lifting the 50+ pound bags of dry ingredients over and over throughout the night, every night I work, is like being at the gym for 12 hours 3-4 nights a week! I take sports drinks with me to work to help replace electrolytes during my breaks because I sweat like a stuck pig! But… I’m getting some bitchin’ guns over here, people! I’m usually sore as Hell, but I will just have to become addicted to Naproxen or Motrin and develop a liver disorder. All the cool kids are doing it.

Right??

Alright, so let’s get down to why we all came here to begin with. Sad to say, I really don’t have much to talk about wrestling-wise. Since the last PPV, not a Hell of a lot has happened that needs to be discussed. AJ was revealed as Kaitlyn’s “secret admirer” as a way to get into her head going into the Payback PPV. Ryback still thinks he rules. The Shield continues to impress me even though I know this whole thing with the titles isn’t going to last. Orton turned heel (supposedly). Sheamus is back in mid-card Hell feuding with Damien Sandow.

Triple H has a chip on his shoulder about wanting to fight Curtis Axel, which is sad because Axel is nothing more than a repackaged jobber. Vince McMahon was right when he told Triple H that he was better than that. He should be facing bigger names instead of wanting to fight an over-hyped goon like Curtis Axel. Even Paul Heyman’s influence can’t make me like him because I know where he came from. He’ll always be Michael McGillicutty…and he will always SUCK! You can put steak sauce on a turd, but I’m still not gonna eat it, guys! Sorry, but that’s my opinion. Even if they push him all the way to the WWE Championship, I will never accept him, and that’s all WWE’s fault for dropping the ball on him so early out. Why didn’t they shove him up our asses and force us to like him because of his lineage like all the other second and third generation talents? Instead, they put him in NXT and made a nobody out of him from day one…and that really ruined it for me.

I don’t care if he’s being pushed, or not. Please never EEEEEEEEEEVER give Big E Langston a microphone….A-GAIN! Every time he opens his mouth, I lose brain cells. Shove a mic up a cow’s ass for 5 minutes, and I’d rather listen to the noises that come from that than have to take listening to Langston bumble through his promos. The ratings don’t drop during his mic time because of people switching channels. It’s because they are off finding ways to bring about the sweet release of death!

That…and piss breaks, of course. That’s why I call him “Big Pee” Langston.

You’re welcome!

I saw a pic posted on Facebook the other day asking “How can Ryback rule if Roman Reigns?”. I thought that was funny!

My son, Kaden, turned 3 years old back on June 10th. We had a big party for him, with Angry Birds cupcakes and decorations…mixed with some Disney/Pixar “Cars” and “Toy Story” stuff (because we changed themes halfway through). It was all good. Kaden got lots of great presents, including his first bike (that I put together all by myself). I think he likes it. I haven’t seen him ride it yet. I’ll have to work on getting him into wrestling so we can have a WWE themed party next year when he turns 4! Maybe by then, we can work out all the details and have his “Auntie Sarah” come down from Canada to help him party like a little rock star!!

Can we make that happen, Deevzy??

Oh, one more thing before I get out of here….they are airing a new “reality show” on the E! Network in July.

td2

It’s called “Total Divas” and it will showcase several of the WWE Divas doing everyday stuff on camera that we are all supposed to find entertaining. It will feature the Bella Twins, the Funkadactyls, Alicia Fox, Natalya and a few others…from what I have heard about it. I may watch it just to see how uncomfortable it makes me.

But, that’s my dilemma. Who’s going to watch this thing and do commentary on it for the Fatal 4-Way? Is it more of a “Diva” thing?? Or, do I have to take one for the team once again? Remember “Hulk Hogan’s Micro Championship Wrestling”? Or the last season of “Tough Enough”? Or even, “Celebrity Championship Wrestling”? Now, I have no problem with doing it, and I have a feeling you all will love how I tear each episode a new one….but there is still time in case someone else wants to take a crack at reality show rundowns. If y’all don’t get the E! Network up in Canada, then I totally understand. I’ll take the helm on this, if I need to. It’ll be a long process with recapping several weeks worth of episodes from one month to the next, but I’ll do it for the greater good of the blog!

Up to you! We can talk about it later.

With that said, I had better get going. Let’s all be careful out there, troops!

Until next time…..YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

 Gregs Have A Nice Day

Hey everyone how are you doing this month?! Have you been enjoying this wacky Canadian weather? Man one day is hot and sunny then the next day it is raining and cold! Why can’t Mother Nature make up her mind?! I really hope we get a decent summer! Anyway let’s get on with this blog!

Let’s talk about the positives for the month. Well there is this new wrestler who is coming in and his name is Bray Wyatt. If you have seen the trailer for the Wyatt brothers you know exactly who I’m talking about. He is the son of IRS. He was also part of Nexus when they were around. Now he is known as Bray Wyatt. I actually think this gimmick could actually work for the WWE. It is fresh and creepy. I could see this leading to big things for WWE (maybe a nice feud with CM Punk at some point). But I shouldn’t get ahead of myself. I really hope WWE doesn’t screw with this particular character. He could go a long way. I have seen some of his stuff in NXT and I’m impressed. I also really dig his theme song. If a wrestler has a great theme song then they are going to go somewhere! Haha anyway I can’t wait until Bray makes his debut on RAW. Also he has a couple of guys with him who also look pretty impressive too! So maybe they will be as powerful as The Shield?

Speaking about The Shield it is pretty cool seeing them with three different championships. They have the WWE Tag Team Championship and the US Championship. Not too shabby considering they have only been on TV for almost eight months or so. I hope they get to keep the championships for a while and make them into something worthwhile.

Last month on an episode of RAW from Calgary WWE did a Bret Hart appreciation night. If you live in Canada you were able to watch it from The Score. For everyone else you got to watch it on the WWE app. It was a nice tribute for Bret. Jerry Lawler hosted the tribute and he did a great job. Pat Patterson, HBK, and Vince McMahon himself all got to say something to Bret. Also the City of Calgary gave Bret this honour and he really appreciated it. It is that WWE does these things for former wrestlers. I really hope they get a chance to do this again to other wrestlers who did a lot for them in the past.

Payback is this Sunday and one of the matches I’m looking forward to is CM Punk VS Chris Jericho. It is going to be live from Chicago (Punk’s hometown). So I can imagine it is going to be pretty crazy! We haven’t seen Punk on RAW for almost two months now. He took a break from the WWE to heal up and just have some relaxing time. The guy totally deserved it! He has been carrying the WWE for last three years. He was their friggin WWE Champion for almost two of those years. I’m not sure who is going to win this match. But to me it doesn’t really matter because both of these guys can put on a great show. I loved their match from WrestleMania 28 and I’m sure this one won’t disappoint anyone!

Last weekend Diva and I went to Comic Con in Niagara Falls, ON. We got to meet Mick Foley. He was very nice (as I expected) and of course he had lots of stories to tell everyone. I got him to sign my copy of his Have A Nice Day book. I also got my picture taken with him too.

Greg and Foley

Diva met another wrestler but I’m going to let her tell you who she met. I’m not going to spoil it in my blog!

Comic Con was pretty cool. I really enjoyed seeing what they had to offer. I will probably go there again next year. My goal is to go to the one in San Diego. I really want to see the big stars!

Anyway that is it for me this month! I hope you all have a nice day! J You can reach me on Twitter @blitz101 or e-mail me gl.club17@gmail.com

WrestleMania 29 Edition w/Our Event Predictions + Owen Hart news!!!

In Memory of

Richard Reid Fliehr

February 26, 1988 to March 29, 2013

00 f4w2012banner

Two blogs in a row and we have to start of with a “In Memory Of”. Lets hope May’s Fatal 4-Way starts off with happy thoughts. In case some of you are new, Richard Reid Fliehr is better known as Reid Flair, the 24 year old son of wrestling legend Ric Flair. The youngest of the Flair clan hasn’t exactly lived the life of an angel, but none the less didn’t deserve to have his life cut short after only 24 years. He had a lot of time to fix his life a head of him. The only story out there about what happened is that he was found dead in bed at a hotel in North Carolina and that foul play has been ruled out but no official cause of death as of yet. Likely from his his sordid history, it’s not to hard to figure out what happened. Who are we to speculate. On behalf of the other Fatal 4-Way members, we would like to send our condolences to the Flair family.

Reid Flair

I hate to give the impression of this months edition to be a downer but with the way WrestleMania 29 has been booked, it was already out of my control. Lol!! So lets see if we can’t breathe some life into this months edition.

Gregs Have A Nice Day

Hey everyone, how are you doing these days? I’m doing pretty well thanks. I celebrated my birthday last weekend and I had so much fun! I ate a lot of food (almost too much) but I managed to get all in! LOL One thing I like about my birthday I get to share it with Diva and Lucy Lawless! Yes two great Divas! Haha Don’t you think Diva should dress up as Xena? Lmao! I’m sure Mat would like it! 😉

Gregs photo

Anyway onto the wrestling! I’m sad to announce the passing of two professional wrestling personalities. One who will always be a legendary manager and the other who died way too young and will never get a chance to be a legend like his father? I’m talking about Paul “Bill Moody” Bearer and Reid Flair. I always remember Paul Bearer as a great sometimes spooky manager of The Undertaker and Kane. He had such a personality and he was really well loved by many people in the wrestling business. I have never read any negative stories about Paul Bearer. He was always a class act when it comes to wrestling. Unfortunally I don’t really know anything about Reid Flair except he was the son of the Legendary Ric Flair. I know Ric was very proud of his son. I think a lot of people thought Reid had what it took to become a great wrestler. He was apparently on his way in to the WWE. They were just waiting for him to finish up his stints with All Japan. I really hope Reid’s family and friends and fans can find some sort of comfort with this tragic loss. I know it is going to be a very difficult time for everyone.

So WrestleMania 29 is this weekend! Are you excited about it?! I’m not really! LOL Too be honest there are only two matches I’m looking forward to and none of them are the Championship matches! How sad is that?! I think it is pretty sad. It seems as though WWE has dropped the ball for this build for WM. The only thing that looks decent is The Undertaker VS CM Punk. The other match which should be solid is Brock Lesnar VS Triple H. Other than that everything else seems to be meh!

WWE has done everything right to build up CM Punk against The Undertaker. Using Paul Bearer’s passing in this match just made it more personal for The Undertaker. He now wants revenge from Punk for making fun of Paul Bearer and taking the Urn which “has” Paul’s ashes in. If you saw RAW this week you know Punk dumped Paul’s “ashes” all over The Undertaker. Of course we know it isn’t really Paul’s ashes but it makes the storyline a little bit more believable. I guess Paul Bearer’s son gave permission to the WWE to use their father in this storyline. I’m glad they said it was okay because I’m sure their Dad is pretty happy with how this angle has turned out for the most part. One thing though I want The Undertaker to win his matches and continues his streak. On a side note in a recent Q&A on Bret Hart’s facebook page he was asked if he could still wrestle who would he love to wrestle at WM?! He said The Undertaker. He said he would love to try to beat his streak. I always liked their matches that they had in the past and if Bret Hart could still wrestle now I’m sure they could deliver a classic match at WrestleMania.

Moving along to the next match I’m looking forward to Brock Lesnar VS Triple H. These two guys went all out when they had their last match at last year’s SummerSlam. I’m sure they won’t disappoint this time either. I’m picking Triple H to win because I don’t really want to see him retire from wrestling yet. Of course retirement doesn’t really mean anything in Pro Wrestling. I like how they added HBK in this match. It is good Triple H has someone in his corner to stop Paul Heyman from doing anything.

The World Championship match between Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger should be all right. I like Del Rio as World Champion. He makes a great champ. I don’t want to see Swagger win the Championship. I could see Ziggler winning the championship after he cashes in. I wouldn’t have a problem with that. I believe Ziggler has proven himself over the last year that he deserves to be World Champion. Plus I wouldn’t mind seeing some Ziggler VS Del Rio matches.

The Rock VS John Cena for the WWE Championship should be okay. I don’t know if they can top their match from last year but I’m not really expecting anything big. I do see Cena going over and winning the WWE Championship. I believe the crowd will be behind The Rock and they will probably riot after WM when Cena wins. Unless WWE turns Cena heel I don’t think the fans will go home happy. Who knows I could be wrong and The Rock retains the WWE Championship.

The Shield VS Big Show, Sheamus and Randy Orton should be a good match wrestling wise. I think Orton will turn in this match and cost Big Show and Sheamus the match. I don’t want to see Orton become the Leader of The Shield but I want to see him just be a loner and heel. I believe it is time we see the return of heel version of Randy Orton. Don’t you guys think so?! It will be something fresh and he could feud with a lot of wrestlers such as Alberto Del Rio and John Cena etc. We shall see!

Chris Jericho VS Fandango should hopefully be a short and sweet match. As much as I love Jericho I just can’t stand this Fandango guy. I don’t know what Vince sees in him but what a waste of my time every time I see him on TV. I hope Jericho wins but I have a feeling he will put over Fandango. :S

I’m really shocked they aren’t putting The Miz VS Wade Barrett for the IC Championship on the actual PPV. If we want to see this match we have to watch the preshow. This sucks. Both of these guys deserve to be on the PPV. They are hard workers and they are over with the fans too! I’m taking Wade in this match just because I will be shocked if they do a title change on a preshow. The Miz has been improving and he is kinda on a roll so who knows for sure how this match will turn out.

Team Hell No VS Dolf and Easy E?! (Whatever his name is) should be a decent match. I think it is time for Kane and Daniel Bryan to drop the tag team titles. Why not do it at the biggest PPV of the year?! Then I think they should go on their own for a while. I like them as a tag team but Bryan deserves another single push! Goatface needs the World Championship again! LOL

Mark Henry VS Ryback I’m kinda curious how this match turns out. I really want to see both of them destroy each other in the ring. I think this match has potential to actually be entertaining “Big Man” match. I think Ryback will come out on top but I do like Henry more. He has improved so much in the last few years that I actually don’t mind seeing him wrestle now. He was a great World Champion better than I thought he would be and he is a great heel too!

I could care less about the Bella Twats match with Team Rhodes Scholars against Ton of Funk and the Funkdatals. I feel bad for Team Rhodes Scholars having to be involved with this match. They should be in a triple threat for the Tag Team Championship instead. But what do I know, I’m just a fan! Lol

The HOF should be really great this year. I hope we in Canada are able to watch it at some point. I may have to find out where I can watch it. I’m hoping The Score will air it sometime.

Anyway that’s it for me this month. I hope you all enjoy your WrestleMania 29 parties! I know Diva is looking forward to the “drunken peeps” I’m brining over tomorrow! Have a Nice Day!! J

BOOT CAMP

Howdy-ho, troopers! Yeah, you know it. It’s that time again! Boot Camp time? Well, yes. But, I really meant….WRESTLEMANIA TIME! Thought I’d remind you, in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months.

Since the last edition of this blog, the Road To WrestleMania had already begun. Everything from then on has naturally lead up to this point, so why not spare you all the pain of rehashing all that and just talk about the big night itself?

First off, there seems to have been a lot of heat because the Intercontinental Championship match has been relegated to the “pre-show” rather than taking place on the main card. I agree…and so does my daughter! (inside joke with my crew, but maybe you’ll see what I mean before this is over) It makes the IC title seem so unimportant, and we all know it’s not. That belt has a history that demands prestige and respect. But, WWE throws that perfectly good match out onto the Internet and keeps the “Tons of Junkadactyls in the Trunk” VS Team Rhodes Scholars and the Bella Twins on the main show.

Didn’t anyone who works for WWE’s booking department ever see the movie “Tropic Thunder”? There’s a line from that movie, “You never go full retard.” WWE always seems to be skimming that fine line, but this time, they wandered a little more to the left than usual.

Honestly, I ‘d rather just suffer through another outing with Brodus Clay, Big Mama Duckbutt and her Bridge Club.

If the match with The Shield VS Orton/Sheamus/Big Show feels like it’s been done before, that’s because it basically has been. Ryback wasn’t available since they decided to put him in a piss break match with Mark Henry, and Cena is busy with The Rock. Aside from that, nothing much has changed since the last time The Shield had a 6-man match at a PPV. If you ask me, it’s another thrown together waste of a match for a PPV of this caliber.

I’m actually enjoying the exchanges between Cena and The Rock lately. Leading up to WrestleMania, I don’t feel like I am watching some kid stand up to his school yard bully who keeps calling him stupid names like Kung Pow Chicken. So far, the only mentions of such banality have come in retrospect (that means they talked about it in the past tense), and it has allowed both men to put out better quality promos this year. This is how it should have been all along.

What can I say about the Brock Lesnar/Triple H match? We all saw it coming months ago. What do we get out of the deal? Hmm…..the obligatory HBK intervention, for one. Next? The pointless stipulation that’s made to seem so earth-shattering. If Triple H loses, his wrestling career is over. Whoop-dee-doo!! He’s been doing the “corporate” thing since last year’s WrestleMania as it is! What difference is this supposed to make? Nothing! Not only does WWE think we are all 12 year old Cena fans, they also think we are fucking idiots.

Something I like about the build-up for the Undertaker/CM Punk match is that it’s different from what we saw in previous years with Shawn Michaels and Triple H. CM Punk is has gotten to the Undertaker probably more effectively than anyone else in history. Of course, the timing of Paul Bearer’s death couldn’t be more conducive to help this storyline progress by leaps and bounds. Some say William Moody (Paul Bearer) would have enjoyed the way this feud is being handled with the use of the urn and all. Others, even certain members of Moody’s family, see it as exceedingly bad form. Maybe it is. Maybe it’s not. The impact is definitely being made either way.

I will say, however that if CM Punk actually ends the streak this year, I will be pissed. I feel that the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania is his legacy, and it should not be tampered with, or disrespected. Which is exactly why WWE will decide to shit all over it like pigeons on a statue in Central Park.

But, don’t let me crap all over your WrestleMania parade. The bottom line in all this is that we are supposed to watch and enjoy the event. For those of you who are planning to do exactly that, I wish you the best! I still don’t know for sure if I will be watching WrestleMania. Not because I don’t want to. It’s more of a financial thing this year, having just moved into a new place and all.

As for the rest of you, I’ll catch you next time when Boot Camp is back in session. Until then…..YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

The Skirt Sheet

Well, here we are again. I just wish we could meet here in a more joyous occasion, but I’m not sure if that is going to happen. Usually, I’m very excited for this time of year, as only a true pro-wrestling fan can be, but I believe this is the first time in many, many years that I am not looking forward to WrestleMania. But I’ll shut it and get to bidness. Oh and Greg re: dressing up as Xena or anyone in public… HELL TO THE NO!!! Lol!

At first I was envious of our man, The Game, for being able to attend WrestleMania 29 in person, but as the card slowly (and honey, I mean slowly) revealed itself, I realized that I’m the lucky one. Why? Because of my ability to mute and/or turn it off or pop out for a much needed smoke.

I think it’s fitting to start off with the rants to end all rants. I thought about saving this for last but no, I think it’s only right to get this out of the way. But make no mistake, these guys are more deserving then curtain jerking a fucking dark match.

It was announced this past Monday on RAW that, Wade Barrett will defend his Intercontinental championship against The Miz on the PRE-SHOW!! On the pre-mother-fucking-show. I don’t know anyone who actually watches the youtube pre-show. Yes, I’m a huge Wade Barrett fan, but I’m also a huge fan of The Miz (much to my boyfriend’s chagrin). More importantly, I’m a fan of the Intercontinental Championship. A belt that had so many greats (not including Chyna) win and wear it with pride and honour. That this once prestigious championship is no longer worthy a match on the actual WrestleMania card. YET, some how two dancing fat-asaurus and their Funkadyketals along with two creepily facial haired pedophiles and their pair of matching camel toes are good good enough? What-the-fuck-ever! You know, I’m not the only person who is upset about this. I’ve read multiple posts on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr, and they are not happy with this either. We are all baffled and left agog by this decision the WWE has made. What on God’s green earth possessed the WWE to decide that Tons of Funk (Tensai & Brodus Clay) & the Funkadactyls vs. Team Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow) & The Bella Twats get the spot on the actual pay-per-view but two guys who have worked really hard, get stuck on the pre-show dark match? You have to ask yourself; What kind of fuckery is this?

Aly Anti-WWE pic

Thank-you Aly! I’m pretty sure Sarge’s little ones face says it all.

I should have made my theme to my WrestleMania party, “laziness,” since that’s apparently the perfect description of the creative and booking team. I think it’s official, Vince McMahon is off his grapefruits. He is neglecting to put all the current championships on the biggest show of the year. There is no United States Championship or Diva’s championship, and the Intercontinental championship isn’t even on the card, just the pre-show. I’m just not impressed, over-all. Ryback vs. Mark Henry? Really? Really? Fandango, and Big E. Langston get to debut at WrestleMania but guys who work hard only get the stupid preview show? Somethings rotten in the state of New Jersey, and it isn’t the East River. They are going to run the risk of either or both, Fandango and Langston choking out there, on the show of shows? One of the Funkadactyls actually got laughed at by “Stone Cold” Steve Austin as she was the first to leave on the WWE’s reality show, Tough Enough, and she has a match at WrestleMania, but Natalya, Tamina, AJ and Diva’s champion, Kaitlyn, do not. No fucking wonder Beth Phoenix left the WWE.

Does anyone really care about Ryback vs. Mark Henry? Two big guys, who have less talent then a thimble does water, are likely going to stand around for the first five-minutes, huffing at each other before spending the next five-minutes of their match hitting all four of their big moves before they have to call it because neither of them have the stamina that the steroid injections were suppose to give them. Anyways, Ryback better keep his mouth closed or he’s going to drown from all the sweat pouring off of Mark Henry. I’m also pretty sure I found out what Mark Henry was doing when he was away from the ring…

Mark Henrys day off

(and no, that really isn’t Mark Henry. The GIF is from the TV show New Girl). I guess in four-hours, you need at least two “go-pee” matches…may I recommend this one?

I know I already touched down a bit on the 8-person Intergender Tag Team Match between the Funkadactyls & Tons of Funk vs. The Bella Twins & Team Rhodes Scholars, but I have more to say. I actually feel sorry for Cody Rhodes and Damian Sandow. They actually have talent yet I’m pretty sure no one gives a heaping pile of frog shit about this match. The other six are as useless as a pew-less church. Yeah, I don’t exactly know what that means either.

I like the Shield and their reasoning towards injustice within the WWE. However, unfortunately they’re in the wrong match. They should be involved in stopping the two previously mention matches. The Shield wouldn’t even be on the WrestleMania card if it wasn’t for the WWE desperately needing opponents for Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show. There you have, another match that no one cares about…. Brought to you by, BLAMCO!

When opponents were being figured out for Fandango, Chris Jericho must have been in the bathroom ripping off shit-tickets and couldn’t voice his “NOT IT!” fast enough. Now he’s stuck with Fandango as his opponent. Worse things could happen, he could be on the pre-show. Let me break it down for ya my peeps, this is officially Fandango’s first match. He is debuting at WrestleMania, therefore Chris Jericho will not be winning. What we get out of this match were the one-liners Jericho fired off on RAW about Fandango’s name. One of which he stole from me, just ask Greg. Fan-Man-Go! Only Jericho said Fan-sweet-mangos. Same thing. I did tweet my mango one long before Jericho came out with his sweet mangos. How come that sounded very wrong yet kinda sexy at the same time? Secretly I’m not going anywhere for Jericho vs. Fan-Donkey-Dick-O, because as annoying as another cheesecake (mmm…cheesecake) character is, Fan-dang-go is really fun to say.

Months ago, I saw Big E. Langston debut on NXT, and well, I actually fell asleep. That really doesn’t bode well for the WWE Tag Team Championship match. Once again the WWE needed to do something with their tag team champions, Kane & Daniel Bryan, and the Money In The Bank winner, Dolph Ziggler. It makes sense (I know right, shocker) that Big E would be Ziggler’s partner. If Ziggler wasn’t placed on this pay-per-view, it would be too obvious that he would be cashing in his brief case on the World Heavyweight Champion. Don’t get me wrong, I still fully believe that Ziggler will still cash it in and leave as the World Heavyweight Champion.

May as well talk about Alberto Del Rio defending his World Heavyweight Championship against the controversial Jack Swagger. My personal opinion is that Del Rio will retain the title against Swagger, but Swagger will be pissed off and attack Del Rio after the match, “injuring” the champion and allowing the perfect opportunity for Dolph Ziggler to run down, cash it in and do what no one else who held the Money In The Bank brief case has done and cash it in at WrestleMania. Del Rio dropping the title to Ziggler is a bit more heroic than if he was to drop it to Swagger and his anti-immigrant stance. Defeating Swagger still leaves Del Rio a hero in all the non-American-American’s views. Dropping to Ziggler, a lot less damaging.

I’m actually having a bit of difficulty trying to figure out the No Holds Barred match between Triple H and Brock Lesnar. On Tuesday night I was on the phone with The Game, ours not Triple H himself, and told him of my dilemma, and he suggested flipping a coin. So I took out a shiny loonie, and determined heads was Triple H (because who wants head from Lesnar), and Lesnar was tails (not that that’s any better) and flipped it…

HEADS! So I’ve chosen Triple H to go over in this match. I’m not really sure why this decision was so difficult. Maybe it’s because I can’t see Triple H retiring, maybe it’s because I can’t see him losing to Brock Lesnar again. Maybe it’s because if he beats Lesnar, then Brock looks less like a monster. And if Triple H does beat Lesnar, does that mean rubber match? There is money to be made from a rubber match, providing this match is more exciting then their match at SummerSlam. I guess this is one of the matches I’m actually looking forward to, just because I really don’t know the ending. HA, who knew!

Divas Coin Flip

Another match I’m looking forward to is always The Undertaker’s match. Especially since this year he has a fresh opponent, CM Punk. Two of my favourites engaging in what should be an epic match. Nevermind the size difference because these two bring so much to the table and are both incredible in-ring workers. Both have always been extremely hard workers in the ring as well. Undertaker could be dealing with ring rust since it’s been a little over a year since his last match a year ago against Triple H. Every year, we seem to question Undertaker’s ability and every year he exceeds his limitations and our expectations. This year, the key element is going to be stamina to be able to keep up with the fast paced CM Punk. That aside, the WWE lacked build up to this match, which is unfortunate. It makes you severely question what exactly they had planned before the unfortunate death of William “Paul Bearer” Moody, because when he suddenly died at the beginning of March, the WWE had yet to do anything to really promote this match. With Undertaker being a key component to their WrestleMania success, that sort of backs my theory of laziness on their part. When they began to use Moody’s death to further their Punk/Taker storyline, the WWE started seeing a lot of backlash, but what took a bit to get through to the public is that they didn’t do anything that wasn’t approved by Moody’s two sons. Both who have said that their father would have loved this. It crosses a line to a point but it’s not like they didn’t have permission. I look at it this way, it’s keeping William Moody’s legacy alive a bit longer. The WWE isn’t ready to just push him to the back burner just yet. They are honouring what he would have loved being a part of. With not having this Plan B just fall into their lap it makes you question the drive the creative had to make this match mean something instead of a random opponent chosen to take on The Undertaker and his 20-0 streak.

Last year the year long build up to The Rock vs. John Cena was a huge let down. They had a mediocre match that gave us the illusion of an epic match. How you ask? Because of the fans response to that match. Personally I wonder just how much of the fan reaction was piped in. Regardless, the fans made that match because of the way the reacted. The were putty in the WWE’s hands and if the fan reaction wasn’t that, we wouldn’t be seeing this piece of crap match for a second time. Once in a lifetime my fat, white, ass! It’s not exactly uncommon for fans to make a match seem great. Just take The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan in Toronto for WrestleMania 18. The fans were so loud that they changed The Rock to a heel from a baby face and Hogan to a baby face from a heel. But was that match really one of the greatest of all time? No it wasn’t. The first 10 minutes are of them just standing there face to face as the fans responded to each eye twitch or lip smirk. It was still the fans who made that match memorable. I am not looking forward to sitting through this match for the second time, especially since I’ve known who was going to win it for over three months. It’s going to be 25 to 30 minutes of my life I will never get back. Although my predictions say one thing, believe me, I’ll be cheering the exact opposite.

Originally my plan was to have my WrestleMania party geared towards celebrating CM Punk’s accomplishments and have it be a Straight-Edged party. However, Greg talked me out of it, and thank-god he did, knowing the card now, my straight edge party theme would have gone out the window anyways. There is no possible way to get through this WrestleMania sober. Thankfully I don’t have to.

One more thing I wish to address. In 2010, Owen Hart’s widow, Martha, served the WWE with a law suit about using her dead husband’s name, likeness and footage. Well, this week a settlement was reached out of court.

Owen Hart lawsuit resolved – WWE free to use his name and likeness.  The lawsuit between WWE and Martha Hart seems to have finally reached an end as of this Wednesday. The suit has kept WWE from using any likeness of former WWE wrestler Owen Hart, who died tragically in 1999.

From this point forward, WWE has the legal right to use the name and likeness of Owen Hart in their programming and various other productions, with Martha – his widow – receiving compensation and royalties.

This means WWE will be able to induct Owen Hart into the Hall Of Fame one day, as they have not been allowed to previously.”

-WWE Source tumblr & confirmed by the Huffington Post

This means that Owen’s legacy will live on. This also means that now, one day, Owen Hart will have his name, legacy and career honoured by being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. A dream that all of us Owen Hart fans have had for almost 14-years. Don’t get me wrong, I understand where Martha Hart is coming from. She lost the man she loves in a sudden and tragic accident. Her bitterness and heartbreak is not unfounded. It was an accident that should never have happened, but unfortunately did. The death of your soul mate, your true love, can cripple you. You just can’t flip a switch and move on. Unlike most people’s circumstance, Martha’s heartbreak played out in a very public eye, and her husbands death was very public since the accident happened in front of twenty-seven-thousand (give or take) on an internationally broadcasted pay-per-view. I don’t think anyone can really grasp the way Martha, Oje and Athena feel. As a fan, I wish I didn’t have to lose one of my favourites. He was an amazing wrestler and a very talented man.

So thank Martha Hart for settling with the WWE because I’m sure it wasn’t easy for her and her children. So as a fan of Owen Hart, I appreciate his wife and the difficulty this decision had to be for her.

With that said, I’m out of here. I have a party to set up for. One that I’m already partially set for because of my boyfriend’s surprise party last weekend. Glad I didn’t go with a colour themed party this year. Nope instead this years party is themed, Foodie! Where my guests are to bring food that have been re-named to be a wrestling inspired dish. So can’t wait to see people’s creativity. I hope everyone enjoys WrestleMania 29 tomorrow and if you’re out somewhere watching, please don’t drink and drive. That would make you an idiot and my readers are not idiots. Also a special thanks to Sarge and his wife and miss Aly Cat for the use of the cutest photo ever to be seen by anyone. WWE Elimination Chamber Predictions & We are OFFICIALLY on the Road To WrestleMania!!

February 16, 2013 Leave a comment

00 f4w2012banner

Hey, we’re back and it’s a WWE pay-per-view weekend. We are flying one short this week. Sarge’s Boot Camp won’t be back until March 10th when we do our March edition. He sends his regards and says just because he isn’t here doesn’t mean that you can slack off. He’s in the process of moving from one state to another state and is very busy. He feels horrible but hey, when you’re doing a huge move like that with two small children, it’s not easy.

Enjoy this months edition and don’t forget to check back on March 10th for a new edition. And as always, we have our Elimination Chamber predictions for you all to enjoy. It’s time to Pump up the jam, pump it up, get this partay started…

The Skirt Sheet

Here we are once again. Miss me? Yeah I figured as much. I tell ya, it’s difficult not writing each week but it really has freed up some of my time. Don’t get me wrong, I love this blog. It’s my baby. However, not writing this each week has allowed me to do some other writing. Not just the books I work on, but I recently decided to write a blog that turned into an essay on something I’m very passionate about, and no, it isn’t wrestling. Ever since I was 8 years old, I fell in love with Killer Whales or Orcas. They were this amazing, majestic animal that lived in the unknown world of the ocean, and they captivated me. As some of you might already know, I’ve been very vocal about what’s going on at MarineLand in Niagara Falls, but it wasn’t just that aquarium theme park that was becoming a problem. It brought me more awareness that I tried to make excuses for previously that I no longer could or want to ignore any longer. Sarge & his wife Heather should be glad that this didn’t happen before my visit there because I’m sure they would have killed me with all my anti-captivity and lets protest this and that mentality that I seemed to have adopted since August 15th of 2012. Anyways, I wrote this article, and researched my ass off just to make sure I had the information that could back up what I’ve learned. The eye opener… this little documentary that was banned after only 3 showings in Japan called “The Cove.” As I sat and watched it, I was angry, and in tears at the travesty I was seeing. At one point, I even had to hit pause so I could throw-up. It literally made me sick. So, I did what I do best, I took to paper (or the laptop) and wrote about everything. What’s going on at MarineLand, Sea World, in Taiji in Japan and all the connection to what’s going on in Taiji and how it aids in what’s going on at Marineland and Sea World. So far I’m pretty much going unheard. I have very little support from my family & friends, but what support I do have, I am grateful for. I remembered a while back I was posting some of my wrestling stuff on this site called TRIOND, where they would set up your article to be published and everytime someone viewed your article you would get paid a couple of cents. Trust me, it’s not very much money. I went back to that site and I submitted what I had recently wrote, it’s been published and now when any one clicks on it and takes a look, I’m getting paid a few cents. I decided before I posted that I wasn’t going to be the person to benefit from any of the money that I might make off of these animals that I love. Thank-you… Now lets get on with the real reason we are all here. WRESTLING!!!!

The Royal Rumble took place just a few weeks ago and I don’t really want to toot my own horn but… TOOT-friggin-TOOT! The Rock defeated CM Punk to become WWE Champion and John Cena won the Royal Rumble to face the WWE Champion at WrestleMania 29 on April 7th. Big freaking surprise!!! Sometimes I really hate being right. The WWE dropped enough frigging hints at Cena going over in the Rumble. Saying that he won the Rumble for the first time on the 27th of January, and they pushed hard the number of two-time Royal Rumble winners, and they even had him in the Royal Rumble commercial evesdropping on everyone in the pub and then winking at the end. Um… anyone who missed all those are morons. Just sayin!

I have a half problem with The Rock being champion and half no problem with The Rock being champion. Problem: He defeated CM Punk, who is more deserving and harder working then anyone on the roster at this current time. Not a problem: The Rock = ratings. Problem: This right away means The Rock vs. John Cean #2 at WrestleMania 29, and quite frankly the first time around was so hyped up that the match was a shear let down. Not a Problem: The Rock = butts in seats. Problem: Having someone who is only around on a very limited schedule since he’s busy, The Rock is taking prime opportunties away from other superstars who are there over 300 days a year, working hard, working through injuries and are STILL sitting in the back because someone who pops up time to time is back and is now carrying the championship. Not a problem: The Rock has always and will always represent the company in a positive manner. He has pull with the outside media and has a personality that draws people to him. See what I mean? It’s half and half thing. I think all three problems and all three not a problems are all valid. Yes I was pissed that I was right watching The Royal Rumble, but the more I thought about it, the only thing I was truly pissed about was that it was CM Punk who had to drop the title to The Rock and ruining his beautiful streak of whatever days it was. I’m tired I can’t think that far back, lol.

Big ass surprise that for once the WWE was able to keep underwraps was Chris Jericho! So didn’t see that coming. I didn’t have time to really go looking for many spoilers but what I did see was that Shelton Benjamin and Carlito were indeed confirmed and The Hurricane was rumoured to be. I knew that Hurricane wasn’t going and I never heard BOO abour Jericho. So it was nice that for once, the Internet didn’t actually spoil something for me. Much like the upcoming WrestleMania 29 card. Not that I’m not smart enough to figure that one out myself, right?

How about we put John Cena in captivity? Oooh burn on Cena!

Sorry that was random. I haven’t paid any attention to TNA so I’m not even going there. I was traumatized last month when I talked about it. Why do I bring up stuff that gives me nightmares on purpose? Am I that much of a masocist?

I guess we should talk about this Sunday’s pay-per-view, The Elimination Chamber. For a pay-per-view that is aptly themed there is only one actual Elimination Chamber match. SmackDown is having an EC match to determine the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 29. In the chamber is Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Kane, and returning Chris Jericho, Mark Henry and Jack Swagger. I’m tired of Mark Henry. I have been since a week after he debuted. It’s not a racial thing before someone jumps on me because if I was a racist I wouldn’t have had that sex dream involving Kofi Kingston, a pair of handcuffs and Polish donut. Don’t ask, it’s safer not to. But I digress… Mark Henry isn’t talented. He is gross for starters, anyone who sweats that much is so not attractive, and dare I say, not healthy? I’m loving the aggression of Jack Swagger, although I personally think he looks like crap compared to before. He looks chubbier and unkept. However, I’m not sure of the addition of Zeb Coulter yet. So far the promo they cut on Monday Night RAW this week was a bit risky in the fact that a lot of the WWE’s fan base isn’t just American’s but nationalities around the world who not only live in their nations but in the United States. Sadly I agree on some level with them. We have the same problem here in Canada, probably worse because our country will let anyone in. However, I’m just saying that that promo was a risk. Honestly, I’m not really sure where this match is going. It could in so many different ways.

Ryback, Sheamus & John Cena take on The Shield. There is no way that the WWE is going to allow Cena to lose momentum going into WrestleMania so unfortunately that means that The Shield will likely pay the price. If The Shield were to lose it would be a step in disbanning a very promising group. Do I believe in The Shield, I’d like to but unfortunately I don’t have much faith in the WWE’s ability to take a promising faction and allowing them to become legendary. Remember The Nexus? It was great until Wade Barrett was replaced by CM Punk who, is great but didn’t belong in Nexus.

I am NOT a fan of Antonio Cesaro. The dude has the hairest thighs in the WWE. It reminds me of Tensai’s back when he was Albert. However, I had done multiple tweets regarding the hairy crotch and thighs of Cesaro, and I’ve recently noticed that it seems he’s femme-scaped his vagina. He and The Miz have had this back and forth for a while now, and I feel in order to make The Miz’s babyface turn more solid, it would be to over-throw the United States champion this Sunday after all the bragging Cesaro has done about “no American can beat me.” As a very skeptical female, I’m pretty sure he’s been “beaten” a lot. After all, he carries a purse.

The Diva’s championship is going to be defended after not seeing much of the diva’s over the past few weeks. WWE has totally neglected the Diva’s completely. Natalya and AJ are the only two that ever seem to get screen time, and unfortunately Natalya is getting air time with Khali and Hornswoggle. So I ask myself, who the hell did she piss off? Diva’s champion, Kaitlyn, takes on Tamina Snuka. And for the love of God, I hope Tamina goes over. We are seriously lacking strong, capable diva’s in this division and it’s at it’s weakest point since Candice Michelle was champion. Kaitlyn definitely has potential but I just think it’s too soon and that she hasn’t generated enough interest. Then again, if the Diva’s haven’t been on television in weeks, is that really her fault? No, it’s the WWE’s. With that said, I would still rather see Tamina as Diva’s Champion and then she and Natalya have a feud which I can tell you this, will be epic.

I’m over the Big Show. My thoughts on this World Heavyweight Championshp match is that nobody wants to see Big Show as champion again. Alberto Del Rio has changed from hated heel to loved babyface pretty fast and has adapted well. He’s still got that toughness but he’s connecting with the fans. He’s doing really well right now. Do I see him as World Heavyweight champion going into WrestleMania 29, nope. I truly believe that Dolph Ziggler will seek this Sunday as his opportunity to cash in his Money In The Bank contract while Del Rio is weak.

The Rock defends his WWE Champion for the first time since winning it from CM Punk at the Royal Rumble against the former champion. Obviously this is anti-climatic since we know it will be The Rock vs. John Cena two at WrestleMania. Stand by for cheesy cereal related promos for a month and a half. At least it’s not a year of this crap like last time.

The pre-show has Tensai and Brodus Clay vs. Team Rhodes Scholars. I was under the impression that Team Rhodes Scholars have decided to go their seperate ways and concentrate soley on their singles career. This is confusing. Not as confusing as Tensai and Brodus Clay’s relationship. It all started with a giant man who is suppose to be dominating and scary, wearing lingerie & dancing…

RAW_1027_Photo_099

Um, yeah. And while this was going down I managed to find a screen capture of someone who had the exact same expression as I did…

funny how this is my response to tensai and brodus dancing wwe mainev

Anyways, unless you’ve followed me on twitter or tumblr, I’m pretty sure that you have all figured out just how stoked I am for the on inductee to this years WWE Hall of Fame…

YES YES YES YES YES

Yes Congratulations Trish Stratus!! You deserve it. Of course she totally deserves this but in a way I would have thought there were others who might be more in the forefront for an induction over Trish. Like Macho Man or Miss Elizabeth. Also the major announcement of Bruno Sammartino being inducted gives me hope that maybe one day, Owen Hart might be inducted. If Bruno Sammartino can come to terms with the WWE and Vince McMahon, then maybe Martha Hart will be able to do the same to allow her deceased husband to deservingly be inducted. Don’t worry, I won’t hold my breath. So far, I’m looking forward to the Hall of Fame this year. Trish, Bruno and Mick Foley. The only one I dread is Bob Backlund but I think I covered that before. They should probably stick Backlund first so that people won’t mind being a bit late, plus then Foley can bring everyone out of the boredom coma that Backlund is sure to induce on everyone.

With that being said, Please PLEASE at least click on my article to help me raise money for the Dolphins. It won’t cost you a cent, but everyday you click on it, the more money I can raise for them. http://scienceray.com/biology/the-effects-of-captivity-the-links-to-horror-to-cetaceans-pinnipeds/ Thanks so much. I really do appreciate my friends and family’s support. I know which people are supporting me. Either they’ve made comments about what I’ve done or have liked or retweeted on my facebook and twitter. I truly do appreciate it. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

Gregs Have A Nice Day

Hello everyone, how are you doing this month? Welcome to another edition of Have a Nice Day. I hope you guys enjoyed the Royal Rumble last month. I was pretty impressed with it up until the last few minutes of the Rumble match (more on that in a bit). This weekend we have another PPV which is the Elimination Chamber. So I guess I should start off with this wrestling blog.

The Royal Rumble PPV was pretty good. I have admit I enjoyed most of the PPV. There were a few surprises including the return of Chris Jericho in the Rumble match itself. Actually I wasn’t expecting to see him on the PPV. So that was a nice surprise. Another great surprise was Bret Hart being part of the PPV. He was giving Alberto Del Rio some advice for going up against Big Show which he did take and he ended up beating Big Show with a little help from duct tape and Ricardo. Speaking about Ricardo how cool was it when Bret Hart gave Ricardo his shades?! That was pretty awesome! I am starting to enjoy Alberto and Ricardo as faces. I actually don’t mind seeing Alberto holding onto the World Championship either. He makes a good champion. As long as we don’t see The Big Show with the championship again, everything is good with me.

The Royal Rumble match itself was pretty good up until the last few minutes. We all pretty much knew John Cena was going to win the Rumble with commercial giving it away pretty much. Like a said it was great seeing Chris Jericho come out as #2 and he got perhaps one of the biggest pops of the night. Chris Jericho ended up being in the match over 40 minutes! The guy still has it. He knows how to be over with the fans when he is a face and when he is a heel. There aren’t a lot of wrestlers who can do that. It takes an art to do it and Chris has it down. He can get the fans to react in many different ways. But back to the match, we saw Kofi Kingston use JBL’s chair to get back into the ring. We saw the debut of Bo Dallas eliminate Wade Barrett, then of Wade got his revenge and took out Bo Dallas. We saw Ryback come in and throw out some guys. Then it was down to Ryback and Cena. Cena ended up getting the best of Ryback and threw him over the top to win the Royal Rumble match.

Now onto the WWE Championship match between CM Punk vs. The Rock. I thought the match was pretty solid. I know a lot of people were upset with outcome of the match but I wasn’t. I knew The Rock was going win the WWE Championship. I mean we heard for months ever since The Rock announced he had a Championship match at the RAW 1000 episode that he was going to win the WWE Championship. I know The Rock hasn’t been around much but it shouldn’t matter. The Rock came back because he wanted to come back and we should be grateful for it. Don’t get me wrong I love CM Punk and I loved how he had one of the longest Championship streaks with the company in a long time. But sooner or later it had to end. Who better to end than The Rock?! Would you guys rather see Cena or Ryback end the streak? Yeah I didn’t think so either. But of course the way things are going for Mania we will probably see The Rock drop the Championship to John Cena but I will save that for next month’s column. LOL

Pwinsider first reported that The Undertaker may not be ready for WrestleMania 29. I heard rumours that he just isn’t fit or he just doesn’t really want to do it anymore. He is happy with 20-0 streak and wants to leave it at that. I truly believe The Undertaker will wrestle at Mania but I don’t know if it will be a singles match or tag match. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens in the upcoming weeks.

Also the WWE has announced a few wrestlers for their upcoming Hall of Fame inductions. The following wrestlers have been confirmed include Mick Foley, Bob Buckland, Trish Stratus, and Bruno Samartino. So far that is a great class for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame. It will be taking place the night before WrestleMania 29 at MSG. The greatest arena of all time! I believe The Game is going to be there and I’m kinda of jealous that he is going! I hope he has a great time there.

A couple of weeks ago Bret Hart was interviewed for aftermath on The Score (it is a sports channel in Canada which airs WWE programming). He had some not so nice kind words about Triple H. He basically said Triple H wasn’t a good worker. He even went as far to say he wouldn’t put Triple H in a top 1000 performer list! Now that’s a little harsh. I may not be one of Triple H’s biggest fans but I have to say he can put on some really great matches. His two matches with Undertaker were pretty good. Bret Hart actually comment about one of them saying he would only give it 4 out of 10. Come on Bret I know you may have had some bad blood with Triple H over the whole Montreal Screwjob but I thought you put that behind you and moved on?! You made peace with Vince and Shawn why not Triple H? This is the guy who is eventually going to take over WWE someday. Don’t you want to stay in his good books so you can still do cameos for WWE in the future?! Sometimes I wonder why wrestlers have such big egos! LOL Anyway for the most part I agree with Bret on things he has said in past interviews and this one just seem way too bizarre for me not to comment on.

Okay so that’s it for me for this month! I hope you guys enjoy the PPV this Sunday if you’re going to watch it. Don’t forget to check out our PPV predictions at the end of the blog! Have a Nice Day! J

Welcome back!!! Well because all four of us are here this week, we are keeping the introduction short. Don’t forget to check out our Royal Rumble predictions at the end of our blogs. Enjoy and so great to be back writing.

BOOT CAMP

Ten-hut, troops! Long time, no see.

It feels like forever since I got to sit down and crank out one of these articles for you guys. It feels good to be back in business. With The Sarge in the house, you know that business is about to pick up!

So much has been going on, and still is, so let’s get down to it. We’re not getting any younger, damn it!

First off, I have to share a bit of personal life crap with you. Sorry, but life isn’t all wrestling for me. I have a life outside of being “The Sarge” after all. Most of all, I want to talk about my job. Last time we met, I was talking about how much that job sucked massive goat testicles. Well, it still kind of does, but to a lesser extent. It’s actually getting easier for me. I’m getting used to it. My confidence is increasing every day, and the whole thing is really becoming “tolerable”. This job gave me a migraine from the stress level a couple weeks back….and I don’t get migraines. Never have until that day. I went to the ER and got treated for that. The meds they gave me worked wonderfully, though the delivery method was a bit suspect. They gave me two shots….one in each butt cheek! I know, TMI. But, whatcha gonna do? I had to share so you can feel my pain, so to speak. However, since that day, my job has really improved and I have not been nearly as weird about going back there. I think I may actually survive this, people!

=================================

I think nothing set the tone for 2013 in WWE like the bit on RAW with Mae Young giving “birth” to Hornswoggle on the New Year’s Eve episode. Maybe the absolute dumbest thing I have ever witnessed! How fucking brain-dead does WWE think we are? How was that supposed to be funny? Or entertaining? Or even worth putting on the air at all? WWE has no screening process anymore. I am convinced of that now. I thought having the Muppets on RAW was bad. And again at Tribute To The Troops, but enough already!! Even the rubber hand was a better idea than freakin’ Swoggle. Seriously! When they said Mae Young was pregnant, I admit I flinched toward my remote for just a moment in a knee-jerk reaction to turn off RAW and watch….well, anything else. But, I had no interest, so I stayed on USA and lived to regret my decision. Out pops Hornswoggle, and I suddenly felt insulted and somehow dumber for having witnessed that skit in its entirety.

=================================

Brace yourselves, everyone. I’m going to say it! The Shield….is stupid! All three of them. Another way WWE sees fit to insult our intelligence. From day one, they have lied through their teeth to all of us. Blatantly showing their asses with every word out of their mouths. The first time we saw them, what did they do? They interfered in CM Punk’s match by attacking Ryback. Then, they do their best to back-pedal and deny any involvement with CM Punk. Then, they attack Ryback again and several other superstars in the coming weeks. Last time we saw them, they jumped The Rock during his promo against….that’s right…CM Punk!

Seriously?? Come on, guys. You’re killin’ me. This whole thing is all so mind-numbingly retarded. It’s like the creative team isn’t even trying anymore.

=================================

Speaking of not trying anymore, I have to say I am disappointed so far with The Rock this year since his return. He comes back and on the first night, he comes out and cracks jokes and insults. The next week, yet another “Rock Concert”. Like we haven’t seen that millions (and millions) of times before. There’s nothing new or interesting. He cuts a promo against CM Punk on Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday and roughly plagiarizes the iconic “I Have A Dream” speech, making it into the basis of his promo. Really, Rock? The man who has been regarded as one of the all-time greatest mic workers in ALL of entertainment seems to have lost his mojo. Must be hard to come up with the right words when there aren’t any cue cards to read from. You gotta play it safe when there is no director to yell “Cut!” and give you a second and third shot to get your lines right!

Maybe even as early as last year. Honestly, Rock….you lost me at Kung Pow Chicken. What the fuck does that even mean? I can understand the reference to Fruity Pebbles. But, calling someone a Kung Pow Chicken? What are you? Five years old? That doesn’t even make sense. What does that make CM Punk? Shrimp Lo Mein? Mongolian Beef? Moo Goo Gai Pan? Fuck, I don’t know. Neither does The Rock…or the guy who writes his material….or both. All that talk about Chinese food is making me hungry now, and the carry-out place I normally go to is closed. Fuck you, Rock!

=================================

So, I guess by thinking that 3MB is the stupidest thing in recent memory, I totally get the point behind their gimmick. I think I am right, and I’m completely okay with that. Glad someone has a clue. Another victory in my war against WWE’s obvious disrespect and underestimation of the intelligence of its fans.

=================================

Aside from the Mae Young bit that I mentioned earlier, one more thing really set the tone for WWE in the new year. The end of the New Year’s Eve episode of RAW when John Cena dumped feces all over Dolph Ziggler and AJ in the middle of the ring. One word: shitty! Yep, that about sums it up. I’ve been waiting ever since then for WWE to show me something that changes my outlook. So far, they have failed to do so.

=================================

TNA has not been much better. Jeff Hardy is once again their World Champion, and while I am not entirely against that, there has been a lot more left to be desired. The Aces & 8’s storyline is still going on, with Luke Gallows and Mike Knox both being revealed as members after losing their masks. Devon was revealed as their Sergeant At Arms. Proving further that TNA is like the place where WWE has-beens go to live out their last days.

Worst thing as of late has been the storyline involving Brooke Hogan and Bully Ray trying to get Hulk Hogan to accept their relationship. Just terrible and painful to sit through. It’s all so pointless and has no place on the show, if you ask me. Nobody watches wrestling for storylines like that. They call wrestling a “soap opera for men”, and it’s crap angles like this that give wrestling that abhorrent reputation. It’s things like this that make the uninitiated masses look upon life-long wrestling fans like me and snicker at the notion that I actually watch this shit. I am not ashamed, even with such horrible storylines going on (past and present). What makes me a fan is my dedication to the work these men and women put forth in the ring. I admire many of them for their ability. I look up to them for their ability to work the crowd, tell the story and keep the fans entertained. I can honestly do without a lot of the talking and shenanigans that go on outside of the actual in-ring action. I understand it’s a necessary evil in order to drive the current storylines along, and some superstars and Divas have made all that blabbering seem tolerable. I just wish there was less of it. I know I am not the only one who feels like that. I have heard so many people complain about how little actual time is spent on matches as opposed to time spent talking and doing retarded crap backstage.

….and anything having to do with Hornswoggle. If there wasn’t some sort of equal opportunity infraction in firing that little turd, they should have shit-canned him years ago! Bottom line.

=================================

Don’t even get me started on Manti Te’O and his imaginary dead girlfriend! I am so sick of hearing about that ignorant fucktard. I mean, how freakin’ stupid and clueless do you have to be to get caught up in something like that? You have an Internet relationship with some chick who ends up in the hospital and dies from leukemia, and then you find out the person you talked to on the phone was actually a dude pretending to be a woman. This is too priceless to be made up! Don’t you know every hot chick on the Internet is really a 500-lb basement-dwelling troglodyte? Jesus H Christ! Everybody knows that! Get with the fucking program, Man-Tits Tebow!! Or whatever your name is.

=================================

Okay, guys. I am out of here before I do or say anything else that might get a hit put out on me. With any luck, I’ll be back next time for more “honestly brutal” commentary. You know you love it! If you say you don’t, you’re a freaking liar. Just own up! If you hate this, why do you keep coming back? AHA!! Gotcha, bitch!

Until next time, troops…..YOU’RE DISMISSED!!

Gregs Have A Nice Day

Hey everyone welcome back to Have A Nice Day blog. I hope you had a great Christmas break and a Happy New Years. Mine was pretty great. I got to spend time with my family during the holidays. It was such a great visit. Anyway let’s get back into the wrestling shall we…

I’m going to start off with John Cena. His promo this past Monday on RAW was just horrible. I had no idea what the hell he was trying to do or say. This guy is supposed to be the top guy in their company and yet he acts like the top fool in their company! Something is wrong here folks and I don’t know how WWE can fix it. John Cena has become so unbearable to watch or to listen to. The guy can’t wrestle or cut a decent promo. Why does WWE have him as the top guy?! I just don’t get it. I don’t think even turning him heel would do anything good for him. They have made Cena into such a huge joke now; nobody would take him serious as a heel. *Spoiler Alert* I heard rumours that he will be facing The Rock for the WWE Championship at Mania. I don’t think the guy even deserves to be in the main event (let alone a WWE Championship match) because there are way more deserving wrestlers out there who can do a better job than Cena. But Vince McMahon doesn’t see that. He thinks he knows what the WWE Universe wants and that is Cena and his “poppy” jokes. Well I tell you Vince nobody likes it and if you keep insulting us with this Cena garbage you will see a lot of fans turn away from your product. One of the worse things Vince can do is put the WWE Championship back on Cena at Mania. I feel a riot happening at WrestleMania 29.

I found this week’s RAW to be pretty boring for the “go home edition” of RAW for the Rumble. Usually WWE puts on a strong RAW before their PPV. Well this week was just the complete opposite. The only good thing about RAW this week was CM Punks promo. But it wasn’t really his best promo that he has done but still it outshine pretty much anything else on RAW. I’m really looking forward to seeing The Rock vs. CM Punk for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. I’m going to be going over to Colleen’s house to watch it with Diva. That should be a fun time. If the PPV ends up being brutal we can always make fun of it. I’m sure between the three of us we can come up with some entertaining remarks. Perhaps we will post some on twitter while we are watching it. Back to Rock/Punk match I have been enjoying the promos from both guys. I know Punk has been the better guy with the promos, but I read the Smackdown spoiler and it seems like The Rock will have a serious promo finally! LOL I guess getting beat down by The Shield this week on RAW has awakened The Great One. It should be a great match to watch!

If you have been watching RAW for the past two weeks you have probably heard by now for this year’s WWE HOF Class of 2013 two wrestlers have been added. They are Mick Foley and Bob Backlund. Both wrestlers deserve to be in the HOF. I’m glad they are getting their chance now. I’m hoping that Macho Man Randy Savage will be inducted this year along with Miss Elizabeth but I’m having my doubts about that one. We shall see. One guy who I would like to get in would be Jake The Snake Roberts. I heard that he has lost over 50 pounds while training with DDP. Way to go Jake. I hope he keeps it up. He was always one of my favourite wrestlers to watch. Even though he had a rough life, he always seemed to entertain for the most part until his later years when it all seemed to catch up with him. I hope Jake is better and just lives the rest of this life normal as possible.

We did picks for the Royal Rumble this year and I picked Sheamus to win it again. I hope he does. I rather see him than Cena win it. But I have a feeling Cena will end up winning it and will go onto WrestleMania. You can check out the rest of our predictions at the end of our blog.

I hope you guys like our new format for the Fatal 4-Way. We have decided to do just a monthly blog now instead of every week. Our lives have changed so much so it has been harder to keep up with doing blogs every week. This way you will get better blogs and perhaps more LOL moments from our one liner we have. I know I will.

Recently I have noticed Zack Ryder has become really annoying lately on Twitter. A lot of his tweets really don’t have any purpose. I mean I feel bad for the guy because he just wants to be over with the fans (which he did very well until WWE killed it) and now I just seem him as someone who is desperate to get noticed. I hate it. Someone in WWE really hates him and they try to do everything they can to make him look bad. But the guy doesn’t give up he just complains. I don’t know what he can do to get back where he was two years ago. For starters I think he needs to come up with something new. I know he just finished up his youtube show. Now I think he needs something fresh and he needs to stop complaining about how WWE treats him. I don’t want to say become a sell out because I don’t want that either. He just needs to find someone in creative who can vouch for him. He is entertaining and he isn’t too bad on the eyes either. Maybe his music career will help him out. I haven’t watched his video yet but I plan to do that sometime soon. I just hate seeing good talent like him being wasted when he deserves so much more.

Anyone miss Brock Lesnar? I kinda do actually. I know he will be coming back very soon, so I’m looking forward to seeing him kick some more asses. WWE does need him and I heard he plans on staying with them for at least another year after this WrestleMania. So sorry Diva Brock won’t be leaving anytime soon! LOL

Anyway that’s it for me this month! I hope you enjoyed my blog and I will see you soon! Have A Nice Day!! J You can reach me @blitz101 on Twitter or check out my tumblr http://glclub.tumblr.com

 The Skirt Sheet

Well it’s officially the first Skirt Sheet of 2013. How has the past few weeks been treating all y’all? Have you missed us? I tell you I feel so much better and not as stressed out about writing. I just hope everyone’s new years has started out wonderfully. But enough with the small talk, it’s time to shut it and get to bidness.

A lot has gone on since the year has started in the world of professional wrestling. I’m not even really sure where to start. I can honestly say, I have officially given up on TNA. They are very very gross. So we are going to start there.

1) I’m sorry but did Velvet Sky have some work done on her face? She doesn’t look at all the same as before. Her cheeks are to injected, her eyes higher up on her face, her nose and God only knows what…

Velvet Sky 01

2) WHY? WHY in all of tarnation would anyone want to marry Brooke Hogan? She’s been passed around times then a communion cup. The only thing that doesn’t surprise me is that she’s going after someone who is old enough to be her father since her father and all his old friend have had a piece of Brooke Hogan. It’s just disgusting! Blech!

TNA Wedding

3) I should really be careful considering that Hulk Hogan can’t take any criticism or blame and sues everyone. This time he’s suing a medical facility who he claims fucked up his back even more. He claims that the Laser Spine Institute in Tampa, Florida, performed unnecessary surgeries that damaged his career, and is suing them for $50 million. He’s also claiming that the unnecessary surgeries that he had in 2009 prevented him from having a lucrative match with John Cena at WrestleMania 25. Well, that’s his word against everybody else’s. I never heard that rumour at all. It is isn’t uncommon that he’s full of shit! Hello, his autobiography. That was such a crock of shit.

4) So they call them selves Aces and Eights. They are like this old man biker club. What are they? TNA’s idea of WWE’s The Shield??

TNAs vers of the shield

OK I’m so done with TNA… Literally!

Moving on to WWE!

1) Ding Dong the Bitch is gone!!!

Happy days

Happy days are here again!!

2) Or are they?

Kaitlyn

Really? Of all the Diva’s? Seriously? Why not Tamina or Natalya? They are the only two that can actually have a real match, and yet they give the Diva’s title to a noob, like Kaitlyn? I’m shaking my head over here!

3) I don’t even understand why, WHY Natalya is being put with Khali, who by the way I refuse to refer to as The Great Khali, because he is NOT great. OMG who the hell believes that? Why is he getting all these matches on television? Has the world gone bat shit crazy? And why is every sentence a question?

4) CM Punk delivered one of the most epic promos and it started the year off with so much hope. January 7th was one of the best RAW’s we’ve had this year and even in the past few months. Punk delivered a promo that was dead on. The entire thing. Minus The Rock’s part. The Rock, is very similar to Paul McCartney. He’s a strong singer, but his song writing is mostly fluff. Well The Rock is like a singer. His voice and delivery is strong but the shit he says is mostly fluff. I also promise that would be the last time I compare a wrestler to a Beatle.

You’re playing little league with your little insults and your rhymes and your millions and millions and your finally’s, and I’m in the big leagues and I’m swinging for the fence. You need to understand that your little jabs and your insults, it’s all kiddie games. You can’t leave a mark on the champ’s face. Come Royal Rumble, understand when you step in the ring, your arms are just too short to box with God.”

CM Punk, has always said what we here have been saying all along. That quote above, is epic. That one paragraph says so much more than you realize. When you get to the end of this blog, check out another quote from Punk’s epic promo. Because if you have been listening to everything that I’ve been saying this blog all last year, then you’ll see that I’m not the only one who has noticed.

5) On WWE.com some of the superstars who were mentioned in CM Punk’s “Pipe Bomb” responded, including 16 time Champion Ric Flair and the workhorse Tyson Kidd. I had also read Brodus Clay’s response to the pipe bomb. What are my thoughts on this? Well, I’ll tell ya…Brodus Clay played up his babyface character and said that Punk never should have mentioned his name because it wasn’t true. Um, yeah it is. Brodus Clay must have forgotten that when he was brought into the WWE from NXT originally he was Alberto Del Rio’s monster. Then he comes back as this kitschy gimmick. Way to either play up your character so the WWE looks good, or way to suck up to the creative team who made you and Vince McMahon who approved it (if he didn’t come up with it himself). Flair, also, took the more diplomatic approached and chose not to agree with Punk on anything. He said that the fans do matter and that he has always wanted the fans to leave, saying they saw everything they expected and more when they saw him. He performed to gain the fans respect.

Like I said, if you like me or don’t like me, learn to love it baby, because it is the best thing going today. And that’s the quote I’ll drop on him [down the line] if I see him. WOO!!!”-Flair

But I have to really commend Tyson Kidd. He didn’t choose the higher road. Instead he seemed happy that Punk said his name and mentioned his work ethic. Punk hasn’t been the only one taking notice of Kidd’s work ethic. That is something I’ve mentioned often. But it was Kidd’s response to Punk’s “pipe bomb” that I respect and agree with…

My initial reaction was that: A.) These people understand and care, too, and B.) Punk is 100 percent right. I respect CM Punk to the highest degree. If he comes out in his gear, I’m excited. If he comes out with a microphone, I’m equally excited. Love him or hate him, he’s good at what he does. I’ve always considered myself a workhorse, and I’ve definitely used that word to describe myself over the last two years. I go out there and give it my all every single match — and I’ve been doing that for 17 years. Whether in WWE or Japan or Europe or back home in [Calgary, Alberta’s] Stampede Wrestling, it’s always been the same story. In a worst-case scenario, I will out wrestle everybody on this show. Anyone that’s gonna out wrestle me had better perform after me, because I’m going to outperform everybody that I saw before me.”

-Tyson Kidd

He isn’t blowing smoke out his ass either when he says that he works harder than everybody else. So kudos to Tyson Kidd for saying exactly what was true of his current state.

6) Tyson Kidd also has the unlucky draw of being the first person severely injured in 2013. Well actually he closed out 2012 with the injury. He had tears in his right ACL and meniscus and a slight MCL tear as well. All have been repaired, and fixed. The injury could have been way worse. A dislocated knee that would have ruptured all the tendons and ligaments at the same time. Kidd avoided disaster by getting the knee fixed now. He dropped twenty-pounds before the surgery to make it easier to keep extra weight off his knee but doing a very structured cardio routine as well as going on a juice diet. He plans on attacking his physio therapy with the same attack he takes to the ring. According to WWE.com, they say he can be back in seven to nine months, but Kidd plans on being back in six.

 TJ Wilson

7) I suppose I should actually talk about this upcoming pay-per-view. The Royal Rumble has been one of my favourites my entire life. The uniqueness of it all, but this year that uniqueness is gone because of the predictability of it all. Unless a last minute change takes place, I can tell you right now what’s going to happen and then tell you what’s going to transpire at WrestleMania on April 7th. And us loyal, true and intelligent fans are not going to be happy. They pretty much already spoiled the fact that John Cena is the only person to win the Royal Rumble on the 27th of January. Oddly that’s tomorrow and guess who is in the Rumble? Cena. Plus they keep bringing up the number of past superstars who have won the Rumble twice. So right there you know it’s going to be someone who has already won it once before. Cena’s won it once before. So there’s two dead give away as to who will win the Royal Rumble. Which leads me to my next pisser. *****SPOILER ALERT***** I saw a post that said that at WrestleMania 29 it was going to be The Rock vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship. So guess what that means? CM Punk will not be WWE Champions after tomorrow. Nope, The Rock will. Where he will then proceed to drop the title to John Cena at a very anti-climatic Rock vs. Cena 2 match at the Show of Shows. I wasn’t impressed with the first Rock vs. Cena, I sure as hell am not looking forward to a number two. Well maybe a different kind of number 2 (haha Sarge will be so proud that I slipped that poop joke in there. Maybe I’ll get brownie (ha! Brownie) points for slipping a poop joke in in the same sentence as Rock vs. Cena). **** SPOILERS OVER***** I don’t really want to go too in depth at what I think is going to happen at the Royal Rumble because then where would my predictions be? Not a surprise. I think it’s safe to say, I’m going on what I’ve heard, not what I want to happen. Because if I went with what I want to happen they would look like this; CM Punk retains; Del Rio retains; Team Rhodes Scholars become tag team champions; and Wade Barrett wins the Rumble. But as the Rolling Stones say, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”.

Who has basically had enough of the whole Dr. Shelby and the Anger Management segments? Don’t get me wrong I find the hugging stuff funny, but when they do it to people who aren’t usually full of humour or expecting it. Like Randy Orton. OMG that was funny. But when they did it Monday night and made everyone in the arena hug, it was over done. Way too much. As much as this has to suck for Kane’s character, it works because he is so unlikely a hugger. Yet he adds the comical relief along with Daniel Bryan’s facial expressions. They are defending the tag team championship against Team Rhodes Scholars. Another team that seem to work together quite well. Damien Sandow, also has great facial expressions that help pull the fans in to what he’s feeling or thinking by just a movement of the eyes or the brow line. Cody Rhodes, well there isn’t much to say about Cody Rhodes, except what the fuck is with that mustache? All the wrestlers are having a blast with it but he keeps it anyways. I just keep thinking…

531970_480554105316982_1162276380_n

I mean seriously, it makes him look über creepy! But I will say, I cannot think of one WWE superstar or diva who has not made fun of or mocked Rhodes’ mustache whether it actually WWE television or on twitter. Someone has mentioned it. And well, it does have us all talking.

rvcl5u

Well I think I’ve blabbered on enough seeing as this has turned into a massive, well I don’t know what. But Lets just say the pictures take up a lot of room but they were worth it! Until next month. One thought to leave you with, I can’t wait for Mick Foley’s Hall of Fame speech, but I will probably miss it if Bob Backland goes first because that’s going to put me to sleep. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

WWE TLC ppv Predictions, Randy Orton injured & More

December 17, 2012 Leave a comment

00 f4w2012banner

Y’all are in luck! We know just how busy the holiday season is and so this week we kept it very short. Just Diva with a short edition of The Skirt Sheet and The Game with two brief Youtube blogs for ya, and our WWE TLC Predictions. Enjoy!

The Skirt Sheet

What do you do when you have been so busy and you think or want your head to explode? You watch wrestling. Or at least you try. That said. I successfully watched RAW on Tuesday and I tried to watch SmackDown on Friday but I was so busy that I saw the first match and then went to bed because it was 1am and I had been out literally since 10pm on Thursday and didn’t get home until 9:30pm on Friday. I didn’t get to finish SmackDown until tonight and I had commentary and loads of questions I did not feel like answering from Mat and his friend. It time to shut it and get to bidness.

First off… I know I did this rant before where I blamed Twilight about the whole “Team” bull shit, but does the WWE have to put TEAM in front of every tag team? We know they’re a team that’s why they call it tag team wrestling you fuck wits. Like I know some wrestling fans are r-tarded but do they have to point that out?

Randy Orton is injured. This sucks. I’m not to familiar with the details but The Game has a video blog about it that y’all can check out. I haven’t had a chance to. As you can tell this is very late this weekend.

While I was putting together my End Of The Year blog for next weekend I decided to take a really close look at the superstars and Diva’s win/loss record for televised events. I know I missed an episode of Superstars or Main Event or NXT here and there but what I found both flabbergasted and amazed me. I actually based my Male Superstar of the year on said record. I wish I had the energy this year to really keep up with TNA wrestling but I lost momentum around May. This year wasn’t easy for me to sit down and try to maintain interest. Maybe it’s because my life changed so much or maybe because well, wrestling sucked big hairy balls this year. Or both. I think it’s rather safe to say that it’s both.

What the hell is with Cody Rhode’s mustache? He looks like some porn star from the 1980’s. It’s rather funny actually. It didn’t take long for The Miz to incorporate jokes into his promo during his MizTV on Monday either. I’m wondering why now he decided to try out the mustache thing. No offense but it doesn’t really suit him. I think he was better looking without it.

I have been rather open about how I’m not a fan of Dolph Ziggler. I don’t like him, I don’t like his hair that’s for sure. But I have been giving him credit lately. His in-ring work has been amazing as of late. I think putting his Money In The Bank contract up in a ladder match against anyone else would have been fine, but Cena. I actually fear for Ziggler. If he loses the brief case than what’s that say about the WWE’s faith in the younger guys? Not much if you ask me. What they need to do now, is start pushing guys like Ziggler. I personally don’t think Ziggler is WWE championship material but I think he deserves the chances. He definitely deserves them more than Ryback.

OMG, don’t even get me started on Ryback. God, he came up with Wade Barrett in the first season of NXT and was even apart of the NEXUS with Barrett as the leader. Barrett won the first NXT and yet he’s wrestling for mid card titles while a guy who has no talent, whose name was Skip Sheffield is now getting the WWE championship opportunities that Barrett should be having. I think if Ryback ever wins the WWE or World Championship before Barrett, I will have to be done. I mean that just doesn’t make sense to me. Plus how much longer can they have him losing in fucked up situations against CM Punk?

On Monday on RAW, Wade Barrett’s in the ring waiting for his match and out comes Vince McMahon, then Vickie Guerrero who stand there and make other matches and the entire thing had nothing to do with Barrett. Why have him just randomly standing there waiting for his match to start if you aren’t going to start it? Hell, it could have been anyone standing in the ring while Guerrero and McMahon had their little pow-wow about other wrestlers and matches on the show. That’s one of my biggest problems with commentators too. While one match is going on, they’ll talk about all the other matches that are coming on later on or they’ll be talking about a promo or scandal that’s been going on for weeks. And there are two people inside the ring working their asses off and the commentators aren’t even giving a shit. How are the fans at home suppose to give a shit about the two guys inside the ring if the commentators aren’t? Think about it. It’s so mental.

Anyways, told ya it was going to be short this week. Love to you all but I’ve been so extremely busy this week and just haven’t had time to think up anything for this weeks blog. Between Christmas shopping and Christmas baking and looking after my boyfriend’s niece and nephew for the weekend, and working my job for the past two weeks where I’ve done more shifts than anyone else. I don’t think you can blame me for being completely boned. I think I’m done all my Christmas shopping. I have to be, I ran out of money. Lol!! With any luck I will look at what I’ve bought and see that I am truly done. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

Snazzle, Politics and Suspensions!

Hey there peeps! Hope everyone enjoyed the very nice weekend (at least here in Southern Ontario). It’s a testosterone filled edition this week as I am taking the week off. I have all the faith in the world of my male counter-parts to whip it out. Lol!!

 BOOT CAMP

What’s up, weasels??

So, it’s been a couple weeks since ya heard from your friendly neighborhood Sarge, and there has been a lot going on. Not just in wrestling, but in “real life”, too. Remember a few weeks back when I told you how my current job search was shaping up? Not much success to speak of back then, eh?? Well, since the posting of that article, I have had several phone calls from potential prospects, and just the other day, I got all suited up “Barney Stinson style” and went to two in-person job interviews.

Both were very good experiences overall. Pretty happy with them. Now, I wait to hear back from them and see if anyone will actually accept me. Nailing down one of these jobs would be LEGEN…..wait for it……DARY! I’ve got to admit, there was a lady in my first interview and she was very (how do I say this?) “nice looking”. If she asked me what position I was there to interview for, I’d have a hard time keeping myself from blurting out “Ummm…is missionary still available?”

Yes, I am The Sarge, and I am a man-pig. Get used to it!!

I’m joking, of course.

===================================

I only wish WWE was joking with all of us when they made the biggest fuck-up in PPV booking history LIVE on Monday Night RAW a couple weeks back when they announced Team Foley VS Team Punk at Survivor Series. Sure, it’s great to actually have a traditional Survivor Series match at that PPV, but why the bloody fucking Hell would put the reigning WWE Champion and the #1 Contender on opposing sides if said match rather than put them against each other in a match for the damn title?? The WWE writers remind me when Minnie Mouse cheated on Mickey….because she was fucking Goofy! Now, I’m glad they came out and “sort of” admitted they screwed up by reconfiguring the teams for Survivor Series and booking a title defense for CM Punk against Ryback (and Cena). Now, Team Punk has become Team Ziggler and The Miz has quit for his team already. I don’t blame him. I wouldn’t want to associate my name with a clusterfuck like this year’s Survivor Series, either.

What’s with all this damn “Team” crap? Team Foley. Team Punk. Team Ziggler. Team Cobro?? Team Rhodes Scholars?? This is WWE, not fucking Twilight, you dipshits. Knock it off already! People run around shirtless in WWE because it’s generally acceptable. Fuckers in the Twilight movies do it to make 12 year old girls leave wet spots on the movie theater seats. Freakin’ gross, I know! I’m so glad the next movie is going to be the last one. I guarantee if anyone back in the day ever called Hawk and Animal “Team Road Warriors”, the bitch would be sucking his steaks through a straw!

===================================

But, the highest profile “team” action as of late seems to be the alleged match between “Team AJ” and “Team Cena’s Lady Parts”. Honestly, I think this whole bit is a load of bull crap. I have no idea where Vickie Guerrero is going with this, or for what reason we are all being subjected to this garbage, but it’s happening and there isn’t a damn thing anyone can do about it short of tuning it out, or taking a shit break every time we hear “Excuse Me!” until further notice.

It’s funny how people named AJ seem to get stuck in the dumbest storylines. A couple months back, we had AJ Styles over on TNA Impact Wrestling in some intelligence insulting “baby Daddy” angle that was so fucking terrible, AJ’s female counterpart in the storyline (Claire Lynch) actually received harassing e-mails and death threats, and the angle had to be terminated because the fans were getting so worked up and pissed off over how damn retarded it was getting!

Can we do that with the AJ/Cena thing, too? Please??

===================================

After all that, I think I am about done for this week. Maybe it’s best that I back off now before anyone really gets hurt….or someone puts a hit on me for something I said.

Hey, it could happen! I swear.

Anyway, I’m out of here for this week. Have a great week coming up, and a happy Veteran’s Day on Monday, if you live in a place that celebrates that day. I do, and it holds a special meaning for me seeing how I am, in fact, a military veteran myself! I really do appreciate how some restaurants in this country make a nice gesture by offering free meals to Vets on that day. I know they mean well, but I have to feel bad for the people who endorse these events. Ya see, I have heard horror stories about how long the lines are to get into these restaurants, and how many people just turn around and leave because they would have to wait for hours just to get a damn seat. I imagine the service when the joint is so ridiculously packed would be horrendous as well. It’s so sad to think how angry people get while taking part in a function that is supposed to be a happy celebratory environment. That’s why I choose to avoid those things altogether and stay home for Veterans Day meals. What do you expect me to do? Take my chances at Golden Corral and their Wonderful Chocolate E-Coli Fountain?? FUCK THAT, JUNIOR!

I’m out! And you’re…..DISMISSED!!!

Hey everyone, how are you doing this week? Did you enjoy both WWE RAW and Super Smackdown? Or were you more concerned with the US Election this week? I’m glad to see Obama back in office for another four years. I do believe he is the right guy for Americans (but that is just my opinion). Speaking about the election did you hear Linda McMahon didn’t win her senate seat? I think we all knew she wasn’t going to win, but the most amazing thing out of this was how much money she spent! She apparently spent 100 Million dollars for her campaign! That’s just so crazy! I don’t think she needed to spend that much money. She probably could have just spent 25 million and that would have been all right. But 100 million?! Just think what that money could have been used for instead? Sometimes I wonder if polictions have more money than brains. LOL Anyway enough with that and let’s move onto something more interesting in wrestling!

I have to be honest this week when I was watching WWE RAW I really wasn’t into it much. I was doing other things on my computer. I did watch it for the three hours but nothing really caught my attention. I think one of the reasons why I didn’t bother paying much attention do it was I read the results earlier. Both RAW and Smackdown were taped in England and they are a few hours ahead of us. So the reports were coming in just as RAW was starting up. I read it and was like meh it seems like an okay show. The only big news out of it we now get a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship. Both CM Punk and Ryback have been pulled out of their Survivor Series match to be put into this new main event with you guessed it superman himself John Cena. I was really looking forward to seeing them in the actual Survivor Series elimination match. But now Team Foley needs to find someone to replace Ryback and Team Punk has now been turned into Team Ziggler and The Miz has stepped down from that team because he doesn’t trust Paul Heyman. So Wade Barrett is now replacing him. I have a feeling we might The Miz joining Team Foley in the future. But who knows for sure.

I recently heard some plans for The Rock when he returns to WWE starting in January. Some of the ideas I heard through a hotline are really cool and I’m pretty sure if any of you are a Rock fan you will be enjoying it. The WWE seems to have a lot of things planned for him when he does come back. I don’t want to spoil anything for you guys but in the coming months you will see some pretty exciting things. Hopefully WWE doesn’t change their mind or The Rock either.

I just read on pwinsider today that JBL has signed a deal to stay with WWE. He will be broadcasting with Joey Mathews on Smackdown. He won’t be wrestling though. I hope he gets better at his commentary. I didn’t watch him on Smackdown on Tuesday because I was working nights this week. I think he is starting to get back into the groove of things because when he first came back he was brutal! He will also be on PPVs with Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. Speaking about Lawler he is going to be returning to WWE RAW this Monday night as a broadcaster! I’m really glad to hear this news. I have missed seeing him on WWE TV. It really hasn’t been the same without him. I know a lot of WWE fans around the world have missed him too!

Here is something fun I’m going to share with you; last night while I was at work I decided to tweet a celebrity. This celebrity was Devon Sawa. He is a Canadian Actor who has been in films such as Idle Hands, Final Destination, Casper, Wild America and many other films. Currently he is co-starring in Nikita. Anyway I just recently started to follow him on Twitter this week. I noticed that he is a big WWE Wrestling fan as well as a MMA fan too. So I decided to ask him who is his favourite WWE Superstar at the moment. He tweeted back to me saying it was CM Punk! I was quite impressed to hear back from him. So I’m hoping I will be able to ask him more questions via Twitter. We shall see. His twitter is @DevonESawa if you want to follow him!

This weekend is the TNA PPV. I don’t think we will be doing predictions for it. I only know one match and it is Jeff Hardy VS Austin Aries for the TNA World Championship. I hope Jeff Hardy does win. He has straightened up a lot this year. I hope he stays on a good path.

Anyway that’s it for me this week! I hope you all enjoyed my blog and have a nice day!! J

That’s it for this weeks my friends. Hope you’ll be back for next week which will include WWE Survivor Series Predictions. Sorry to our TNA fans that we’ve been skimping on TNA pay-per-view predictions. I still don’t have cable so I have no idea what’s going on and I dare not to waste my downloading time on TNA. Just saying! Ciao!

Short but good one this week, Including a Run-In!

October 8, 2012 Leave a comment

We’re back this week and I think y’all are getting off easy this week because it’s going to be relatively short. We have a Run-In with Mike this week, plus Sarge and myself. Lets roll the footage monkies!

Yo folks, how’s it going? This week is going to be short and sweet seeing as I don’t really want to repeat myself from the last couple of weeks. It’s pretty sad that all there is to say is the same shit that I’ve been saying week in and week out. I don’t like to be too repetitive, but sometimes I can’t help it. So, I’m going to shut it and get to bidness.

I have to say, I enjoyed Beth Phoenix vs. Natalya from two weeks ago on SmackDown, however, I believe they wasted an amazing match on television, when those two should have totally taken a pay-per-view spot and get 10 to 15 minutes. It is probably one match that will be a candidate for my year end but it’s still early. Also, there hasn’t been that many fantastic matches as of late to really add into the end of the year.

If it wasn’t for the stupid PG rating that the WWE has going on, then I’m pretty sure there would have been a “You FUCKED Up” chant going on during Ryback vs. Tensai. Ryback failed not once but three times in trying to lift Tensai up for his finisher. Not only that but the match itself was horrible. As I see it, neither guy is a good wrestler. Tensai’s push was over when he lost to Tyson Kidd (which was great for Tyson Kidd, so I’m not complaining. Partly because Kidd has more talent then most of the other superstars.) I still don’t understand how they can push Ryback and justify all because the dude is a huge steroidal freak-a-zoid.  I can guarantee you that you won’t see a Ryback action figure in my collection any time soon. That guy just baffles my mind. All his push tells me is that Vince McMahon still has a hard-on over the large muscular men. Watch out Linda!

This week the promo time and the in-ring action time was pretty much on par with each other. I didn’t bother taking notes on the Jim Ross appreciation night because quite frankly that bored me to tears, and I wanted to stab my ears with something sharp.

To be completely honest, I’m finding it harder and harder to maintain interest in wrestling. It’s now a 3-hour show that I wish would end an hour into it.  The worst thing the WWE ever did was making their show now 3-hours long. It’s too much. Way too much, and now they are adding a totally new show and I’m not going to watch it. I’m getting tired of the product. I will now just stick to RAW and SmackDown for the sake of the blog but I can’t find reason to sit through NXT or Superstars or Main Event or whatever the fuck it’s called.

Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, & Drew McIntyre… I’m not sure what they are actually trying to do with those three but the fact to the matter is, the only thing they have in common is that they are all jobbers. If they are calling themselves a band, then maybe they should stick Jinder Mahal in the background plucking a sitar because nobody is ever going to understand his jibber-jabber bull shit and nobody will understand his so-called dancing of patting the dog and screwing in the light bulb. Drew McIntyre is the only one who steps into the ring that doesn’t make me want to fast forward or skip, plus he’s the best looking one of the “band”.  No matter which way you put it, you have crap. If it looks like crap, sounds like crap, then is must be crap!

For being brought in with vignettes, and new mysterious sounding promos, the use of Wade Barrett has been too minimal for my liking. We need more Wade!!

Now it’s official, I’m running out of shit to say to you guys. This might just be the shortest edition of the Skirt Sheet that you guys ever will read. By boyfriend and I are settling in nicely. Making strides in our apartment. Still need to find home for some of my action figures and some of Mat’s Transformers. Our place will probably look like a toy store when we are done. Lol!! Anyways, until next week (hopefully), all you Canadians enjoy your thanksgiving.  Toodles. Because, In Life…There Are Winners, and There Are Losers….Be Jealous and Be Sexy!

“Just when they think they got the answers, I change the questions.”

Whats shakin’ everyone? It’s been a while but I felt that I should write about a few things in the wrestling world. This past Friday I went to an Indie wrestling show in my small town of Bracebridge ontario hosted by CPW (Canadian Pro Wrestling) called Bracebridge Brawl 2 since they did the first one in June. This one believe it or not was held in the auditorium of the local highschool….thats right I say the local highschool but I digress …it was extremely entertaining and for only $12 for a 2.5 hr show sadly they couldn’t sell beer at the venue so I got drunk and walked/ staggered to the event lol. Anyone remember this guy? That’s right its Highlander Robbie McAllister former WWE superstar.

Here are the results as follows: Supremo Fantastico beat John Greed how ever after the match Tornado attacked Supremo Fantastico and Highlander Robbie came out to save him Robbie gets on the mic and tells Tornado that he’s asked the CPW Commissioner to set up the main event to be Highlander Robbie vs Tornado.

Jake O’Reilly slipped a quick devious win with help of Darko over Psycho Mike,

Dragon Lee got a taste of his own medicine from the victorious Phil Atlas,

Hometown boy Josh Alexander captured a victory over Shawn Spears,

Crazy Steve and Darko’s match was thrown out due to outside interference and a tag with Darko and O’Reilly vs Psycho Mike and Steve ensued. Psycho Mike And Crazy Steve victorious.

The Main Event saw former WWE superstar Highlander Robbie beat the veteran Tornado to the roar of the Bracebridge crowd. The chant’s of “CPW CPW CPW” were loud and ever so welcome.

I don’t have much else to say about the wrestling world other than “HOORAY” Kelly Kelly is gone, I hope The Glamazon stays, I’m loving the aces and eights for the most part, CM Punk still rocks face or heel and putting him with Paul Heyman GENIUS!!! AJ Lee still is great , the skipping still makes her look unstablewhich is great for her character lol and TEAM HELL NO well being a stupid name makes for interesting segments. Team Rhode Scholar is looking to be good too but WTH is up with the word TEAM in from of all these new tag teams? Big show isn’t relevant anymore so why do they bother.

That’s about all I have for this week folks as there isn’t too much in the wrestling world that’s impressing me lately…but I’ll get into that another time.  Til next time ………

BOOT CAMP

How ya doin’, dingbats?

Okay, not you, specifically.  The “dingbat” remark is because I call my son that sometimes, and I just think it’s a hilarious thing to call him.  But, it fits him.  He is 100% certified insane.  He is, in fact…..a dingbat!  No other way to explain it.

Anyway, some things have developed since I last wrote an article for you guys.  I know I didn’t write last week, and I apologize to anyone who may have been put off by my absence.  Sometimes, it’s just not in the cards to write.  I had writer’s block and a terminal lack of inspiration.  There was no way I was going to be able to put out anything any of you would give two shits about, and I simply didn’t want to waste your time.

So, if you’ll remember, a couple weeks ago, I mentioned that I got called and interviewed for a new job.  Well, not a lot has progressed since then.  I filled out some more paperwork and did a drug test for them, but no word on when I will actually start working yet. However, I got a call last week from another company that liked what they saw on my resume.  This job also pays better, by the way.  Like $800/month better!  I would like to think they are moving along in trying to get me on board with them, but since that initial call, I have not heard anything else back.  I guess I’ll keep you posted on this, too.

Wish me luck!!

So, I decided to set my DVR this week and catch the new WWE show, Main Event.  It’s aired on a cable television channel called ION Television.  How many of you out there actually have this channel on your cable system?  I didn’t even know I had it until I went and looked for it, honestly.

How many weekly shows does WWE need, really?  RAW, SmackDown, NXT, Superstars, Saturday Morning Slam…and now, Main Event.  Now, I admittedly don’t watch NXT or Superstars.  I watched Saturday Morning Slam one time.  It was like WWE for 5th graders. Totally geared toward kids.  Not my bag at all,  and there was only like 2 matches on the show.  The rest was shitty “human interest” stories and goof ball video packages that any self-respecting professional would cringe at the very thought of being featured in.

All this episode of Main Event ended up being was: 2 video packages, CM Punk VS Sheamus, a bunch of yakking and a shitty tag team match that lasted 5 minutes.

Ya know, I have an idea on how this whole thing can be brought to an end!  Remember when douchebag Spike Lee tried to sue Spike TV for using the name “Spike”?  The ION channel can be taken to court by TNA X-Division Champion and resident Douche-asaurus Rex….Zema Ion! Why not?  Seems like the kind of D-Bag move someone like him would make.  I never watched ION to begin with, and I might not go back now.  WWE Main Event was nothing special, and missing it just like Superstars, NXT and the other “B” and “C” shows WWE tries to shove down our throats isn’t going to make me lose any sleep, I promise you!

How stupid does WWE think we are?  Seriously.  This bit with Kaitlynn being attacked at Night of Champions by a “blonde” while Eve won the Divas Championship is total bullshit, and it’s not fooling anyone.  It’s plain to see how this will all pan out.  They said the one who attacked Kaitlynn on the video camera had blonde hair. So now, they are taking all the blonde Divas and either FE’ing them (like Kelly Kelly), or just making their lives miserable (like Beth Phoenix).  When this all comes to a head, I bet the big revelation is going to have us all saying “I told you so!”.  Sure, the attacker was blonde, but who’s to say the person wasn’t wearing a wig? Here’s the real question.  Did she have a camel toe?  Yeah, that’s right!  It’s EVE who attacked Kaitlynn after all this BS.  I’m no expert, but if this ends up any other way, I will be shocked.  It’s the only way that makes sense.

But….this is WWE we’re talking about here.

Alright, people.  I’m pretty much over it for this week.  Not much on my mind, as seems to be the case lately.  Been distracted with the whole job search thing and other factors taking me off my game.  I hope I haven’t bored any of you to death.  Not yet, anyway.  I will try to put out longer articles in the future.  Sometimes, I just don’t have a lot to talk about.

Cut me some frickin’ slack!

I’ll catch you all back here next time.  Until then, troops….YOU’RE DISMISSED!!
